• Diane (8/5): Compact boat house in amazing location - Fabulous location. Monica was an amazing host , enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Facilities were very good. Conveniently located near bars and restaurants and also had a supermarket a few minutes walk away. The boat was a little bit small for 2 people with motorcycle gear. Bed was a converted sofa and needed to be made . The larger boat house would have been a better option.

• Gisela (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft ab schlechte Schafsituation - Nette ruhige Hafenanlage. Mal eine andere Art zu Übernachten Es gab nur ein Etagenbett, somit haben wir uns für das Schlafsofa mit Flecken entschieden. Dafür gab es nur ein dünnes Bettlaken und keinen zusätzlichen Topa. Sehr unbequem. Bettwäsche gab es auch nicht für die Bettdecken. Sehr unhygienisch!

• Corina (10/5): Magnífico e romântico - Gostei de Tudo : a anfitriã muito simpática, a experiência completamente diferente , muito confortável, num pequeno espaço tem tudo muito bem equipado, a localização perfeita , dá para ir a pé até ao centro da cidade, tem minimercado por perto. A vista do sol posto é magnífico e muito romântico, visto da varanda. E muito tranquilo não se ouve nada. Para ser perfeito só faltava nos servirem o pequeno almoço mas como sabia que não estava incluído , levamos tudo e tomamos um pequeno-almoço magnífico no terraço 😁 É para repetir certamente 😀 Gostamos de tudo

• Carlos (3/5): Estaría muy bien si lo mantuvieran en condiciones - Lu ubicación era muy buena, al tener aparcamiento está fenomenal para estar en el centro y el trato recibido por Mónica, la anfitriona. Es una experiencia divertida la del barco, con pequeños detalles se podría mejorar muchísimo La luz saltó todos los días cuando no estábamos allí, no podías contar ni con la nevera, ni con el aire acondicionado, nos quejamos desde el primer día, pero no le pudieron dar solución. Tuvimos un problema con una luz que no había manera de apagar, no me quedó más remedio que desmontarla para poder dormir sin tener la luz toda la noche encendida, al día siguiente vino el electricista y no la arregló. Había varias cosas rotas, topes de puerta y las cosas, además de la incomodidad, la imagen de falta de mantenimiento es muy grande. Al tener solo el sofá cama como cama grande teníamos que hacerla todos los días y cuando está abierta no te puedes mover por el salón, ya que el tamaño es justo para estar el sofá cama cerrado

So helpful. Just gorgeous. Has all you need. Little galley. New shower. Double bed and 2 single pull out beds. Property is wonderful but Ayamonte I found to be grubby and a little run down. Has so much potential with a good “clean up”.

• Mb (8/5): A different stay, house boat within the port. - Good location, central to the city, a different way to stay over, located within the port. Monica, the host, was fantastic and very welcoming. A very different stay. We had two boats, one had bunk beds unfortunately so for a 60plus couple, far from ideal, but we still enjoyed our stay.
• Lisa (10/5): Idyllic location for a quiet get away from it all with a difference - The location was idyllic with views of the marina and easy access from the private car park. The houseboat was amazing - very cosy with all amenities needed. The weather was great over Christmas so we could use the decks and barbeque. Mónica was very helpful and we would definitely recommend and return again the future. Only one problem thorughout a week's stay was that a young man booked the houseboat next door for Christmas Eve and brought friends, They returned to the houseboat at 1am and had a party until 7am which was frustrating and noisy. I did bring it to the attnetion of the owners and the following day they left.
• Marc (9/5): Superb - I really enjoyed my stay It is a houseboat (casa flotante) located on the before last platform in the marina (Puerto Deportivo) in the center of a typical Andalusian town (close to supermarket, pharmacy etc ). Fully equipped with at waterlevel terraces with table for 4 and terrace on roof with relaxing chairs. Cabin with both front and rear big windows for 180° view but with professional draperies insuring privacy. A very friendly and efficient lady is making sure you enjoy your stay . My stay was in the middle of a massive storm so didn't take advantage of the roof space but the boat wasn't choppy despite the winds and driving rain Cosy warm and safe. Some lovely restaurants nearby. Probably the best food had in Spain. Monica was so helpful and friendly. Couldn't do anything more for me. Coffee maker. Fridge. Hob for simple cooking if needed. Great shower. Air con / heater. Literally everything! Also free parking When the double bed is out fully you need to climb over the other person to get to the toilet and you can't shut the door. But it's a boat and the space is tight. It's not a yacht :D
• Malcolm (9/5): A must stay for a couple of nights to chill - Very relaxing and peaceful All the neighbours in there million euro yachts were very friendly Great roof deck to watch the sunset Only fold out settee. Which was not comfortable. So used the bunk beds which were more comfortable

Plenty of space and secure. Monica & team were very helpful and we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would recommend restaurant LPA for unique Tapas nearby. Thank you Boatvillage Spain Team! Clean and comfortable The only trouble we had was with the pull out bed, it was a very tight fit and it was stuck to bathroom door. If you had to use the toilet during night it was a problem .

Greeted by Monica, who is truly lovely. I can't recommend this place highly enough!!! If you want a luxurious little bolt hole to explore Ayamonte for a few days, then this is the place... I hope I get no opportunity to return! Thank you very much. I only booked it for 2 nights!
