- Atul (9/5): Superb - Nice apartment in a new development away from the hustle and bustle of Ostend. This area is still being developed. There can be construction activity in the neighborhood that might be disturbing - thouhg that was not the case for us. The one real issue to be aware of - the quickest way back into town is via the free ferry that plies across the harbour. At busy times you can end up spending a lot of time queuing for it since a lot of day trippers to Ostend use the free carparks on this side of the harbour. To make matters worse, one of the two ferries stops operating at 18:30.
