Large fridge was perfect for self-catering. Owner was easy to deal with. Make sure you get good directions to the property, as we accidentally tried to check in next door!

• Teréz Anna (9/5): - Fast communication with the host via WhatsApp; easy access to the apartment; a convenient, safe, and pretty quiet location; a spacious, comfortable main bed and bedroom; respectful neighbours who stop making noise after 10 pm or so (I didn't check the exact time, but it was silent by night); great WiFi. Cleaning in the Galápagos is challenging because water, electricity, and cleaning products must be used sparingly. Despite this, based on my experience in hospitality and housekeeping, I believe there are still ways to improve cleaning practices and achieve a higher level of cleanliness, regardless of how guests leave the apartment. For hygiene and health reasons, I recommend removing eggs, margarine or butter, and similar leftovers from previous guests, especially if their expiry dates are unknown. I also suggest providing basic food items from your own supply rather than what guests leave behind, such as vegetable oil or cooking fat in their original packaging or in a clean, sanitised bottle or box, along with some sugar, salt, and pepper in their original, cleaned packaging. Offering a small selection of tea and a reasonable amount of soluble coffee from your own stock, rather than what previous guests leave behind (again, in clean, original, expiry-checked packaging), would also be a thoughtful addition. You could even provide eggs and milk (in an unopened, original bottle), but certainly from your own stock instead of what guests leave behind. If this is too costly or inconvenient for the apartment's price point, I would omit these items altogether and clearly state in the listing that no basic foods are provided. To summarise, you should either offer these items from your own supply in clean, original, and appealing (i.e., appetising) packaging, or not provide any at all. I think you should dispose of or take home for your personal use any items left behind by guests in the apartment. It would be better not to leave them there for the next guests. Of course, this aligns with my own European expectations and standards, and it remains my personal opinion – so, take it or leave it. :)

• Marthanifhla (8/5): - A very nice, spacious apartment in Puerto Ayora, about a 5 minute walk to the main town. Rooms were spacious and it was helpful having a hose outside to clean feet after a day at the beach. Easy to walk everywhere and lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby. Kitchen had a decent amount of equipment. It was a bit tricky to find the location on maps but the host sent helpful photos. It would be good to have photos in advance to be able to find it more easily.
• Randall (10/5): Fantastic property with lots of room - Very big space. Comfortable with large laundry room great kitchen, and bonus hammock on second floor outside balcony. Difficult to find upon arrival
• Ryan (6/5): Disappointed. - Some expensive gadgets but lacking many necessities. tea towels, cleaning products, coffee table, bedside tables, chairs or loungers on the terrace, a safety rail on the mezzanine- too easy to fall of. Ok for two but crowded for 4 or 5.Too many notices about rules- I know how to treat other people’s home!!
