Guest Reviews
- Georgie (1/5): As above- I did not stay at the property as it was unsafe. Despite multiple attempts to contact the owner to remedy the - I was charged up front to stay at this property for 2 nights with check in only after 4pm. Eventually, on arrival the door did not lock, and there were bags of hoarded garbage outside the door on the landing from the neighbour, along with a man who was pacing back and forwards immediately outside the door and sitting on the stairs talking to himself.
I am a female in my early 50s travelling alone and did not feel safe to leave my belongings alone in unlocked accommodation or to return and stay overnight either. Nobody from the property returned my calls or emails and I have not received any contact since, nor my requested refund despite having had to find other accommodation at the last minute.
I therefore was ripped off, no safe accommodation was provided, and they are not contactable.
Furthermore, Bookings.com have not followed it either. I will not book through them again. It was unsafe with doors that didn’t lock.
- Will (1/5): Staggered that a booking can be confirmed without an intent to facilitate access to the property - I did not like making a booking and not being provided with the code for the lock-box to collect the keys and then the responsible person not replying to my calls or WhatsApp messages
- Wendy (1/5): Never again - The location was OK. The owner was extremely rude and unhelpful. When asked for entry details a few hours before I had extremely rude response.
A homeless person had all their belongings outside the door and was sleeping there at night.
It is described, in the advert, as a 2 bedroom apartment. It is not. There is a put up bed by the fridge and another bed close by. This is a dated studio flat and desperate need of some attention. The shower area was mouldy and falling apart. We couldn't use it and went to a friend's for a shower
- Philip (8/5): Very good - Location Not 2 bedroom as described
- Annette (8/5): Very good - Location, bed was comfortable, enough room for the two of us. Felt secure. We were happy with our stay. The host was very responsive. The wifi was very patchy. We had no internet for about 2 days and the rest of the time it was on and off. The walls in the bathroom has a bit of mould, the curtains let in a lot of light, the single bed is extremely uncomfortable (maybe for a small child it could be ok but definitely not an adult). There was a man living in the corridor on the floor of the flat. While he seemed harmless, he has a lot of trash taking up the entire hallway, and it smelled really badly.
- Javier (1/5): Deeply disappointing and dangerous - Good location The property is in a dreadful condition. It hasn’t been maintained for quite some time making it unhealthy and unpleasant. I was shocked when I saw in front of the door on the staircase landing a pile of trashed items and garbage all piled up. That amount of material could catch fire making the property unsafe and potentially deadly. I cannot believe this apartment is being offered on Booking.com
- Stephen (7/5): Good - Very close to London attractions
- Julia (7/5): Good - The Kommunikation was really good. We got quick and helpful responses. We could check out later without any problem. There was a confusion with the amount of the rooms. We thought it's going to be 2 bedrooms but instead it is one bedroom with 2 beds.
