Luna (6/5): Great location - The price and location were great. It is right around the corner from a convenience store and many food restaurants. The staff didn't speak English, there was no toilet paper, and the shower curtain was slimy (needed to be replaced). Also, one of the guests was extremely loud one night. I complained, and the owner never responded.

Guest (7/5): Good for one night stay in Vancouver. - Bedsheets were very clean and fresh, nice comfy bed. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Short walk to the bus stop. Soundproofing was lacking - loud snoring could be heard from the neighbouring room. There was no window screen so bugs would fly in if it was open, but it was hot in the room when the window was closed.

Jane (6/5): Overall, a great location with an adequate room, cleanliness of the shared areas needs to be better. - The location was excellent, a very good locale with great shops within 10 minutes walking distance. Seeing as there are 4 rooms being rented to 4 different entities, the communal kitchen should be serviced every day with rubbish bins emptied and the toilet/bathroom cleaned properly each day. The cleanliness standard of the bathroom was below what I would have expected to find.

Elizabeth (5/5): Passable - The towels were clean and we had the living room to ourselves. The bathtub was quite nice. The door code on each room door handle was modern, maybe excessive in security. I had to contact them from the property to get the room info. I was woken up at 1 am by other guests arriving.

Venus (9/5): Superb - I loved that the house is quiet and is located in a very nice neighborhood. Twenty minute ride on the bus from downtown. Room number 1 was clean, bright, and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedding was soft and clean. I liked that towels, slippers, coffee, napkins, plates, and cups are provided. Also, free laundry is very convenient. I didn't like that the second floor washroom mats smelled because they were always wet but just needs to be washed more. And that the coffee is decaf. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again.

Andrea (1/5): Would give zero stars if I could - Generally unsatisfying, at leat the room was kinda clean. THERE IS NO HOT TUB, the "hot tub" is a regular bath tub, not even one with jets, just and old cast iron tub. I specifically asked about the hot tub and it was confirmed there is a hot tub, blatant lie. There was milk for coffee in the fridge, but no coffee and no sugar. No hand towels in the bathroom and nothing to dry ones hands on. Room is not a double room as promised. Kitchen is anything but fully equipped. Bare minimum is to be found and not enough for the amount of rooms. There is no lighting outside, so if you come in at night you're in danger of falling over uneven pavement and walkways. Bed is wobbly, and matress lifts on the other side if you sit on one side. There isn't even a bedside table and nowhere to charge your phone anywhere near the bed. The entrance to the house has empty boxes all over the place.

There are some supplies in the kitchen like seasonings, variety of cooking oils. Coffee cream was a nice bonus. Shah (9/5): Superb - First when we reached the lower floor bathroom was a bit dirty with spotting of mold and then when we complained they shifted us to the upper floor. It was amazing on the upper floor. Everything clean and pretty.
Joanna (3/5): It was an OK place to sleep in and location was good but it was more like a rooming house. - Room was relatively clean. Kitchen was stocked with supplies. Ample free street parking. Relatively close to major Vancouver key spots via car. Host was very responsive and offered to switch rooms. Bathroom was very dirty (there wasn't even hand soap or hand towels). Biggest issue was the other people in the house who shared the kitchen and bathroom - were very loud at night with fragrant cooking and loud talking / music (my room was right outside the kitchen). Even when they went upstairs, they were loud.
Rick (8/5): Very good - Place was clean, discreet, safe Location is tough to walk from, be sure to check how the buses work. Taxis are expensive, as are the area shops & restaurants. Be ready to pay.

Look, this was booked at the last minute since a late night flight was cancelled by WestJet and replaced with an early morning flight. That was the only option they gave me. When my Lyft brought me to the house, from the curb, it could be the set for any number of horror films. And, my phone was failing. But, the host was very, very helpful on the phone getting me in. Once inside, the place was spotlessly clean and comfortable! Everything was fine. I have no complaints. Was there a breakfast? LOL.

The free coffee was very good and the kitchen was nice to use. Also washing machine was very good. My bedroom was freezing cold. My bedroom was quite dirty. The bathroom was very dirty with parts of the shower yellow.

The bathroom didn’t have a single mat which made it very unsafe. I slipped a few times while getting out the shower and going to the bathroom at the middle of the night.

Maxine (5/5): Overcrowded hostel type accommodation - Good communication. Clean bedroom. Complimentary coffee was super. There was a rancid smell throughout the place. The shower mat was permanently wet. Too many guests used the shared shower instead of the upstairs bathroom. Breakfast time was chaotic as 7 people were trying to make food during the weekend. The place had 5 rooms and so the communal rooms were far too small. Our bedroom ( number 4) had a very low ceiling making it feel claustrophobic! I wouldn't want to be there in the summer months as the windows were mouldy and could not be opened. The fridge needs clearing of unwanted food.

Mrs (5/5): Manage your expectations, it is really old house. But if you don’t mind it, then it has everything you need for overnigh - The bedding was clean. The toiletries and kitchen utensils are all provided. The property is old and the floors are very old and creaky. We can hear everyone walking and talking, as if they are in our room. But at night we slept very well.
Puritch (7/5): Good - The house is in a a good neighbourhood and close to many restaurants and shops. Exterior of house was pretty rough as it appears soon to be destroyed to make way for a new building.
