• Christopher (9/5): Lovely flat in a superb location - Location was brilliant. Large property for 2 people. A well presented apartment. Communication with Marco was excellent. Shower was great. Generally the place wasn’t too noisy. The kitchenette area was quite small with no hob.

• MNE (8/5): - De locatie. Gezellige reuring. Omringd door terrassen, restaurants , supermarkten Een paar 100 meter verwijderd van het historisch centrum. Top! Er viel niets tegen misschien in het begin het keuken blokje. Erg minimalistisch. Het eethoekje , hoge tafel en 2 barkrukken , schattig om te zien maar onpraktisch in het gebruik.

• Rory (10/5): Stylish apartment with a lovely view - The apartment was very stylish overlooking a beautiful plaza in Malaga. Lovely and sunny in the day and plenty of room for the two of us. It was really nice having breakfast looking over the square watching people pass by. The high spec bathroom was very large with an excellent shower. The host, Marco was incredibly helpful. The kitchen facilities were somewhat limited, however we were there for 17 days and it worked for us.
• Elena Maria (9/5): Nice apt in the center - The apartment is tastefully furnished and is located in the heart of the city center. The kitchenette is very basic, there is no cooktop so it can be used only for a light breakfast. The apartment faces a very crowded square with restaurants, therefore if you are a light sleeper this apartment is not for you.

• Dagmar (8/5): Fantastische Lage mitten in der Stadt - Die Lage ist zentral an einem belebten Platz mit vielen Restaurants. Man kann bequem im Zimmer sitzen und einen Kaffee trinken, Frühstücken oder einen Abend-Snack nehmen während man dem Treiben draussen vom 1. Stock aus zusieht. Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern, farbenfroh und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das sehr große geschmackvolle Bad ist mit Badewanne und riesiger RegenDusche ausgestattet. Die Anreise war ganz einfach mit der Bahn, die gleich gegenüber dem Flughafen abfährt. Man muss auch kein Ticket kaufen. Einfach die Kreditkarte auf die Durchgangsklappen scannen und beim Ausssteigen wieder (1,80 € einfache Fahrt). Zwei Supermärkte befinden sich in direkter Nähe! Das Bett war für mich zu hart, für meinen Mann war es ok. Es gab eine zusätzliche Decke im Schrank, die ich als zusätzliche Unterlage verwenden konnte. Schlafen war nur mit Ohrstöpsel möglich. Die Fenster halten den Lärm nicht vollständig ab. Zur Begrüßung war, wie versprochen, eine Flasche Wein und Orangen da. Leider fehlten die angekündigten Nüsse und das gefilterte Wasser im Kühlschrank. Dank der Supermärkte in der Nachbarschaft konnten wir uns noch einen Abend-Snack und Getränke kaufen. Die Nespresso-Kapsel-Maschine konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, da wahrscheinlich die Wasserpumpe kaputt ist. Die Teebeutel lagen wild durcheinander in einer Schüssel. Wir haben sie nicht benutzt, weil sie nicht geschützt verpackt waren und schon etwas älter aussahen. Ein paar Müllbeutel und ein Besen haben gefehlt. Wir mussten unsere Einkaufstüten für den Müll verwenden und haben kleinere Krümel mit dem Handbesen beseitigt. Leider war die Putzkammer im Bad abgesperrt. Ansonsten hat alles gemäß der Beschreibung gepasst!

• ark0 (10/5): Un piso con encanto y un anfitrión 10 - Estuvimos tres noches en este apartamento y quedamos encantados. Lo primero que hay que decir es que el piso es mucho más bonito en persona de lo que reflejan las fotos de Booking: los techos altos con vigas de madera, la decoración con arte moderno y, sobre todo, la bañera espectacular le dan un encanto especial. Marco, el anfitrión, fue un 10. Lo llamamos un sábado a las 3 de la tarde y nos atendió a la primera, algo que se agradece muchísimo. Además, súper amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. La ubicación es inmejorable: en plena Plaza de la Merced, cerca de todo y con muy buenos bares justo debajo. Y a pesar de eso, el piso está muy bien insonorizado, así que dormimos perfectamente sin que nos molestara ningún ruido. Muy recomendable.

Le double vitrage nous coupe de l'extérieur bruyant. L'espace cuisine est trop petit et peu commode . Les meubles sont design mais de mauvaises qualités.

This apartment was ideal for both o - The property is ideally located overlooking the Plaza Merced. Access to the apartment was via a digital keypad, which made entry hassle free. There wasn’t anything not to like about the property.

It is close to absolutely everything - all the tourist attractions, bars, restaurants. The air conditioning in the apartment is great, which is super important for Malaga in August! Marco, the host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, and he also shared some really good recommendations. We’d 100% stay here again, this accommodation really made our trip. Nothing. It really was all good.

Lovely to be able to open the large windows and be part of the hustle and bustle of the square. We would definitely stay here again. Air con was v.good but difficult to control particularly in the bedroom. Seemed to be no way to turn the fan down other than to turn it off. However a minor inconvenience given that the weather was warm when we were there.

• David (10/5): Fabulous Apartment in Malaga Old Town - We had a fabulous stay at Puerta Verde, the apartment was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. The location was ideal with a great view across the square with cafes and bars nearby and all of the attractions of the old town just a few minutes walk away. The apartment had everything we needed with a lovely living room/kitchen, very comfortable bedroom and fantastic bathroom and has the benefit of air conditioning although we didn't need it during our stay. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Malaga's old town. Nothing

• Tracey (10/5): Fabulous apartment in a vibrant part of Malaga - Fabulous location overlooking Plaza de la Merced. Decorated to a very high standard, super large bathroom, comfortable bed, easy access via codes ( no key required). No iron at the apartment but there is a very good steamer which was actually better than an iron !! It's in a bustling and vibrant area, but when the shutters are closed there is no noise from the street below.

• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - I cannot rate this apartment enough - its is lovely. From the decoration to the furnishings Marco has done a "cracking job" in his restoration. Best of all though is the location, Plaza de la Merced is great and with the balcony windows open all you can hear is the constant hum of people enjoying themselves. There are numerous bars/cafes literally below you and plenty in the general area. All the attractions ( Cathedral, Alcazaba, Picasso museum) are within a 5 minute walk from the apartment - When I am in Malaga next I will definitely be returning here. Nothing
• Line (10/5): Historical charm with stylish modern amenities - The apartment is beautiful. Located in a unique heritage building, where Picasso Casa Natal Museum is located. The large window archways, French balcony doors, stained glass create historical charm. It is very bright and airy. Furnishings and amenities are stylish, modern. Kitchen has the basics for self catered breakfast or reheating. Not really set up to cook full meals. There is a busy plaza below, but the windows are quite soundproof when closed. With balcony doors open you can sit by the windows and enjoy the activity and music just as if you were in the plaza. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is huge with massive shower and tub and quality amenities. High ceilings give the apartment a very spacious feel. A nice touch is a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival. Great apartment if you want to be in the thick of it all. We loved it but if someone likes to go to bed early, it is quite busy and lots of action (loud patrons, music, chairs scraping when being put away) at the cafes down below, despite the quality windows.

Location is perfect - you can easily walk to beach, old town or to museums and other sightseeing attractions. Owner communicates well and answers to questions. If you are light sleeper, then this noise from restaurant and placa Merced makes night sleeping quite hard.

• Twizzy131 (10/5): Picasso's hidden treasure - The location is perfect. Situated in a building in which Picasso once lived, overlooking a fabulous square, this apartment is an absolute joy. Anywhere of any touristic interest is a ten min walk or less away. Fabulous restaurants and bars are within easy access. The apartment itself is breathtaking, tastefully decorated, furnished, and in keeping with its historical roots. Amazing bathroom of a very high spec and an incredibly comfortable bed. Everything is of the highest quality. It was high tech and yet simple and convenient to use everything. The host Marco is absolutely delightful whose obvious motivation at all times is to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Any problem whatsoever, no matter how small was dealt with efficiently, effectively and expeditiously. This is a wonderful experience and should not be missed. This is a tiny gripe, and do not allow it to put you off. Do not expect to self cater beyond the basics. The kitchenette area is tiny, and cooking meals is not really realistic. However, it matters little because there are so many places immediately outside at very acceptable prices.
