• Leeann (7/5): Beachmere Beach House - The location was perfect for our extended family get away. It was very clean and with the beach just out the back gate. The price for the property during peak time was reasonable even though there were a number of issues. However, there were many things that were either faulty or didn't work at all. The fans in the bedrooms did not work even when I drove around looking for batteries for remotes. They did not work. Shower doors do not close so it makes a mess when showering. The shower head in downstairs bathroom fell down and hit my grandson on the head whilst showering. The BBQ was absolutely disgusting. We did not use. The dryer did not work. The price for location was cheap for peak time. Windows in the kitchen didn't open to let fresh air in and sliding doors were difficult to open. It's a shame as the location is amazing for a family holiday. Owner just needs to do some much needed maintenance for safety as well as convenience. Neighbors partied until after midnight 2 out of our 4 nights stay.

• Nigel (5/5): Terrible!! - Nothing It was the hardest property in 7yrs we’ve ever stayed at. It was not ready for us, we had to contact them to get a cleaner in as property wasn’t cleaned from last guests. We had to get ready for work and couldn’t as no clean towels and had to go to a caravan park to have a shower before work!!! Came home at 10pm and cleaner was still there, went to have a shower and shower tap fall off, hot water came out all over my son in law, we had to go looking at —11pm to find water main and turn water off so no showers, no flushing toilets ! Went to work at 7am the next day with no showers! It was so hot and no fans upstairs worked, so very very uncomfortable!!! Pool was dirty, yards unkept, it was not a good experience at all!! Plus we had to pay a $1000 bond on top of our payment which we didn’t find out until we’d booked the house!!
• Michael (8/5): Great location , huge house. - Location to the water was excellent, pool was lovely and home was very roomy Need to have air co and fan remotes checked for new batteries as many were not working.
• Maddy (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location, plenty of space to stretch out, shower at entry from pool/beach made washing down easy and a further two upstairs helped with the larger group staying. Felt like staying at a family friend's home rather than a strangers. Minor damages (mostly cosmetic and from sea wind/salt) but nothing that was an inconvenience. No spare towels but we didn't ask ahead for any either.
• Lauren (6/5): You get what you pay for; this place is not for clean freaks. - We liked the waterfront location, thats pretty amazing. The bedding & towels were all fresh & clean. Kitchen is modern. It's a quiet location. Its very cheap for a holiday house, large with big dining room & 2 loungerooms & had lots of appliances; bring your own Nespresso pods. Nice pictures & decorations around the house. Incredibly difficult to get check-in instructions! I had friends waiting one hour at the door from 6pm to get in; I didnt recieve their special form till we called; once it was sent I had to provide front & back drivers licence, matching credit card, & transfer $1000 out of savings onto this card for them to take from me (security bond), also paying non-refundable $23 credit card fees for this. I was on the phone for 33 minutes & the management company appears to be in the Philippines. It was very difficult to get straight answers. I received 22 emails about this booking over 2 days... be prepared. It was infuriating to not know all this beforehand. Once inside we were shocked at the standard of cleaning, it was like living in student accomodation. Only the most basic cleaning had been done, the floors were sandy, sinks had mould around taps/drains that could easily be wiped off but hadnt. One shower had hair on the tiles. Lounges desperately need a vaccuum, you feel dirty sitting on them with the amount of sand & detritus covering it. Bizarre not to look after the place & wipe out fridges/handles of fridge etc. Booking says $300 of the price is a cleaning fee, that money definitely doesnt go to the cleaner. Bathrooms are not modern. Many things in the house are broken or so dirty they almost dont work, like the gas BBQ holes are so blocked with grease it was slow to heat up. The 5th bedroom is seperated from the 4th only by glass windows, giving no room privacy.
• Junior (10/5): I would recommend this property to everyone who wants a great retreat away from home. Will definitely stay there anytime - Great home. Had everything that would ensure a safe and comfortable stay. Suited my family’s needs perfectly. I wish I had booked more days….
