• msdcairns (8/5): More space and amenity than a motel room - for about the same price - Great hosts, unobtrusive. No dishwasher or clothes dryer. Can hear the household noise from the man house (the unit has a shared wall).

It’s a very large unit with lots of space and the host was very helpful and accommodating. I didn’t realise the unit was connected to their house, not a big deal but it was unexpected.

• Mansfield (9/5): A quiet getaway in suburbia conveniently located. - The property is very tidy and suitable for a quiet getaway. Some noise from surrounding neighbours was a little annoying, but fortunately wasn’t on going.

The location was perfect for exploring, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind.Great accommodation in Forestdale area, the bathroom is kinda luxurious.
• Williams (9/5): The place was great and quite for those who needed space and sleep. - The room was cosy and the place was quite, just what i needed for a good night sleep before my next flight. It was clean and easy to locate everything in the whole apartment. the place was great.

• Nicholas (9/5): Whilst our stay was only very short we found the property to be well appointed and very comfortable. - My Son and I essentially had half a house to ourselves. The house is very new and clean, with spacious rooms, high ceilings and very well appointed. The breakfast options were a choice of 3 different cereals with milk in the fridge plus tea and coffee. The location could be a little tricky to find however the host was very helpful with providing detailed instructions and was able to facilitate our check in to the property remotely. We were only at the property for about 14 hours as we were attending an event at Ipswich and accommodation was very difficult to find. Grand Plaza is only an 8-10 minute drive with plenty of dining options and a large shopping mall which we found useful. The property is in fairly close proximity to a train track but I think it is only used for fairly infrequent freight train use. We only heard one train during our stay and our sleep was not disturbed by trains at all on our particular stay.

• Jamie (10/5): Absolutely loved location, the set out of unit and the hosts, will return. - I felt like I had found a slice of heaven in a large city staying four nights at this exceptional location. So quiet while the unit was very comfortable with all the utilities provided making Woodlands Hideaway an easy choice of a place I will return to when staying in Brisbane. The hospitality of the owners again exceptional, so polite and friendly and I cannot go without saying Ranger like another host, made feel at home away from home at this serine location. The yard was just immaculate, and I could sit outside of a night, see the night sky while minimal noise from surrounding traffic made this location feel like it was in the country. Over the past 12 months I have been travelling around in various locations and can say Woodlands Hideaway was by far the most hospitable and enjoyable location where I have stayed. Anyone who wants some quiet time and friendly hosts I would suggest here is a place to find that serenity.

If guests are not to enter main house then it should also be vise versus - just a suggestion

Needs more established gardens or privacy screens/ shade for guests to enjoy private outdoor space. Screen doors might help flow of breezes. Not sure how spaces would suit a couple or family. Compendium with recommended restaurants and grocery shops.

• Sue (10/5): Beautiful unit, quiet location, friendly and helpful hosts. Everything you need for a quiet getaway. - The unit is beautifully decorated with everything you could ask for. Very comfortable lounge and kitchen. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are extremely comfortable with a choice of pillows. It is located in a quiet area away from the main road, the main shopping area is within 5km. It would be best if you had transport to get around . I will stay again. There was nothing not to like about this property.
• Brenda (8/5): Woodlands lovely but room for improvement v y - Beautiful new house which was well stocked with all essentials: breakfast cereal, tea, coffee, milk, eggs, plus shampoo & hair conditioner in bathroom. Hand wash in both rooms. Care needs to be taken when booking as the property is advertised as two bedroom but easy to book only one by mistake. No aerial cable to TV so no free-to-air. Soundproofing would have been good as noise carries from property owners adjoining home. Unfinished driveway not ideal.
