The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great for us (10 minutes walk to Eiffel tower). We highly recommend this hotel.
- Diana (6/5): - I stayed at this property for 3 nights in mid-August with my husband, 10 year old & infant. We stayed in the junior suite (queen bed & sofa bed). The room was clean and the bathroom was a nice size with a great shower. The room is small. We were unable to keep our luggages open due to the small size of the room. I had to pull out our outfits for the 3 days and close and put away luggages due to room constraints. There were no luggage racks in the room, so I had to open luggages on the floor. However, had there been luggage racks, they would not have fit in the room with space to move around. The junior suite is also located next to the elevator. When I asked if we could move to another junior suite away from the elevator, I was informed that all of the junior suites were located in the same line. If you stay in the junior suite, note you will hear the elevator every time it is in use. The bartender is friendly and makes delicious drinks. The hotel is in a nice & quiet area, and it is very walkable to Tracadero & Eiffel Tower. Good location.

The room was clean & the bathroom was a nice size with a great shower. The room is small. There is definitely not enough room to open & keep open our 3 luggages in this room. We had to pull out our clothes for the 3 days for all 4 of us for the duration of our trip & close the luggages due to lack of room. We also did not have any luggage racks in the room- not that we could have used them due to space constraints. The junior suite line is also next to the elevator, so you will consistently hear the elevator every time it is in use, if you choose this room selection. The bartender is friendly & he made delicious cocktails. The hotel is in a quiet & safe area, and it is very walkable to Trocadéro & Eiffel Tower.

- Matthew (8/5): - Chic, charming, and almost perfect. Maison Hamelin was a fantastic find in Paris. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean, with genuinely friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. There’s a cozy little bar area right near the entrance, perfect for a quick drink or wind-down at the end of the day. The beds were super comfy, and the location is hard to beat, just a short stroll to both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumphe. The only real downside? The room we had was tiny. Not unexpected in Paris, but still worth knowing if you’re the type to unpack or spin around without hitting a wall. Aside from the compact space, I honestly can’t fault this place. Stylish, well-run, and in a brilliant part of the city, would absolutely stay here again (maybe just pack light).

Rooms are clean, comfortable beds, wonderful shower, lovely lobby. I felt safe traveling with my daughter, everything is walkable, metro and Eiffel Tower are close. Many restaurant options nearby. The cleaning staff was very helpful, they even took their shoes off, went in your room, which made me very happy as I have a thing with dirty shoes walking around so that just made me beyond happy. She was so lovely!! And the Front Office Mgr Gregory Was delightful, and professional. We will return! LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel💕

My room had no closet, just a very modern Valet to hang 4 - 5 items and a small drawer. We were traveling for 20 days so had large suitcases which didn't fit on the floor to open them. - Monique (10/5): - We were so delighted by our 6-night stay at Hotel Maison Hamelin! From the minute we arrived, everyone was so warm and kind. It was morning and hours before check in so we left our bags with the front desk and went out to get something to eat and walk around. When we went back to the hotel after a couple hours, the front desk told us our room was ready and they had already put our bags in the room. We were so glad to be able to rest since we were unable to sleep well on the plane. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed, the balcony was spacious, and true to the description, had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower, especially at night. We took a nap and woke up refreshed and ready to explore the neighborhood. The hotel is in the 16th arrondissement, which is close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. There are a lot of bistros, grocery stores, and shops within walking distance and there are 2 metro stations close by. Everyone at the hotel was awesome: shoutout to Sheyenne and Gregory at the front desk and John at the bar! We had an unforgettable stay and would definitely return the next time we come to Paris.
- Walter (4/5): - Our stay was awful, leaving us hot, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointed, all while feeling disrespected and ignored by hotel staff and in particular, hotel management. The AC was not working on a sweltering day in Paris and after a tiring day out, we returned to a stiflingly hot room. Despite numerous attempts to get things fixed we learned that an entire bank of suites had no AC. They had no other suitable room for us to move into. And, rather than get an actual maintenance person, the hotel finally sent a staff person up to our suite with a fan- unassembled and in a box. So, rather than arriving with a functioning fan, the guy proceeded to unbox and assemble the unit in our room. It was absurd, the idea that this would be okay, especially given the amount of time he spent trying to put it together. He felt like our new roommate! Moreover, after he left, we realized that he got the assembly wrong and had put the blade in backwards. So my husband had to take it apart himself and put the blade in correctly- all this while paying over $530 CDN/night for our suite. You would think they might offer a free breakfast, a discount on our room, a couple of cold beers. But no, We were assured multiple times that it would be addressed by the manager and he would contact us on the following Monday. We have heard nothing. This hotel may aspire to be a high quality, 4-star establishment, but it has a long way to go before it actually is, if ever. I do not recommend staying here.

They gave us rooms next to each other which was convenient. The buffet breakfast was delicious, bacon, sausage, eggs, cheeses, ham, croissants, breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, cakes and so much more. We stayed 4 nights and ended each evening in the lounge. The staff was courteous and helpful and they all spoke English. We will stay there again.

Bigger issue was we reserved a King bed on Expedia. Hotel said they don't have any king beds and said it was the fault of Expedia and their listing. They offered no other assistance. The biggest one was they billed us over $100 for breakfast. Our reservation clearly said 2 people and breakfast was free (included because we paid extra at time of booking). When we checked out we found out about this. Since we were in Paris from the USA and had to catch a flight we really couldn't argue at that point. I definitely plan on addressing this with Expedia and we will see if they can or will assist. Bottom line - location good, hotel clean - but they clearly ripped us off. I have all the documentation to support what I am saying - didn't matter to them. And since they had card on file, not much you can do. So if you want to get ripped off - go there.

- Paul Ryan (10/5): - This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. Our stay was for pleasure, and the hotel is ideally located for multiple sightseeing activities. The food is excellent along with the service from the staff. The attention to detail is excellent and this is a clean, friendly hotel that I would highly recommend to potential visitors. Gregory and his staff are a credit to the hotel.
- Lisa (10/5): - The property was lovely, and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite small, but I understand that is to be expected in Europe. The room was the size of a king sized bed plus three feet on each side. No dresser, no closet. But it was affordable and close to the action.

- Gavin (10/5): Great stay - The hotel is newly opened and our stay was amazing. It is in a great location, 10 minutes walk one way to the Arc de Triomphe and 10 minutes in the other direction to the Eiffel Tower. The room was great. We stayed with our 2 daughters and had a room with a bed and a sofa bed, both of which were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The breakfast buffet was high quality with plenty choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.
