Guest Reviews
- john (2/5): I’m sorry, but I would not stay here again - The neighborhood was OK. We hit our head multiple times on the door tops because they were very short. The biggest problem we had was the upstairs bedroom. This was kind of a nightmare. The smell in the upstairs bedroom was insanely bad. I don’t know if it was the carpet, but it smelled like someone dropped baby formula and soaked it into the carpet for days. I almost didn’t wanna stay here after the first day because the smell was so bad and then the house next-door is so unbelievably close and most nights the lights were on all night, long and so bright, and there was no way to block them out because there was no curtains so the entire room was lit up like the sun was out all night.

- Arseny (8/5): - Good fit for a family of four in a nice neighborhood
- Lawrence (8/5): Nice little home - Very nice place in a quiet neighbourhood Everything was fine
- Samy (10/5): Well equiped appartment near Shibuya - Very nice furnitures and equipments
- Pyuan (9/5): Great!
- Justyna (8/5): - Wspaniała,reagująca natychmiast na problem obsługa. Bardzo dobra sypialnia.
- Maria (10/5): - Nice and quiet local neighborhood, 10 minute walk from Ebisu station. The house is clean, charming and with good spaces and amenities. The host was kind and accomodating
Gode senge. Dejligt med to toiletter.
Vaskemaskine.
- Carmela (3/5): Not enough space - too far from transportation - The property was clean and tidy. But despite having sleeping arrangements for 6 was not suited to 6 people. The “one stop” station was a 15 minute walk away. The house had so many rules and threats of fine it felt like i was paying to clean someone else’s house. There was a washer but no dryer. The bedroom had AC but the upstairs toilet was too hot to use. There was a small living space downstairs and the bedroom upstairs - so no space for multiple people to move around. We left after one night and checked into a hotel. There were no shops or restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance.
- Michael (10/5): A perfect base for a family wanting to explore Tokyo - The house is in a great location, it was the perfect base for our 7 night stay (family of 5). It was clean, tidy and well equipped with all you need. The host was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. I highly recommend this property for families wanting to explore Shibuya and the surrounding areas of Tokyo. Nothing, the property was great!
- Raymond (10/5): Excellent stay, great appartment, very responsive host. Will definitely stay again. - Although the appartment was far from Ebisu station, it was actually 3 in walk from Bus station 06, which brings you directly to Shibuya (with your Suica card). Because it was further from the station, it was really quiet and peaceful. Located in a high end area of Hiroo. Access to nice restaurants and cafes either in Ebisu station area or Hiroo station area. Sometimes the Internet cuts off for about 5-10 minutes. But host was really quick to respond and indicated a second connexion code.
- Wold (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (10/5): Will recommend - Amenities, soap/shampoo/conditioner, hair accessories all present. Dishes, towels, clean bedding, all excellent. Wifi was very slow.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (8/5): Very good - Nice little house in a quieter neighborhood. Clean and tidy with all the amenities you'd need. And a responsive host. There was a mild smell on the first floor, and even though the location is good, you do have to walk at least 10-15 min to either train stations.
- Luvee (8/5): Very good -
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (9/5): Neat, clean, great beds and bedding. - The amenities to do washing. Very clean, lovely bedding and the beds were comfy.
Hosts suggested the lockers at Ebisu station for our luggage as we arrived very early on the check-in day, so we could still do sightseeing before we checked-in, which was a great suggestion. The directions to the property were quite long winded. We found a more direct route from Ebisu station.
- Lauren (8/5): Very good - House was very clean, great location, good amenities (towels, dishes, etc). It was quite small but expected for location. Sleeping area was one room so better for one family unit. Also the house next door was being torn down so quite loud Saturday afternoon and then Monday morning. It would have been nice to be warned about it. Or offered a discount.
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional - Very well equipped with plenty of amenities like moisturisers, laundry machine, stove. The beds were comfortable, i would say the best is to have a group of 4 The walk there is slightly far from the nearest station, but the location is very calm and quiet
- Zaeobi (9/5): Everything as described & then some - Cosy family stay! - The hosts were very helpful, going out of their way to help us get settled and into the place when they first picked us up (it was easy to arrange transport and communicate with them over messages). Everything was as described (including some extra amenities!) & was a comfortable stay for many different types of people. We liked the area too - we will definitely be back to explore more of what Ebisu has to offer. For example, there are some lovely parks, cafés and coffee shops to explore.
Thank you so much for your hospitality - we hope we weren't too much trouble! Personally, we liked the fact that we were in a very quiet and safe area (but with a konbini nearby)! But I think some people may prefer to be closer to the more 'happening' areas of Ebisu, like the bars etc. That said, the video directions from the train station were very clear (it might be a good idea to screenshot photos from it for your reference though) & it was indeed easy to get to the main tourist attractions on the green Yamanote line (e.g. Shibuya).
Thanks again!
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (9/5): Comfy and welcoming just far out enough for a quiet nights stay. - Clean, spacious and well kept. It was a tad hidden but directions were clear and precise
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chye (9/5): Superb - Clean, quiet neighbourhood Longish walk from Ebisu station.
- Relja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judith (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (8/5): Well priced for what I would consider being right in the heart of the city. 8-10 min walk to Ebisu - Location was great. Surrounded by lots of great cafes and near to the yamonate (green) JR line which is the main city circle line.
Very safe area First time in Japan, we had a few issues with locating smoking sections
