L’hôtel , la piscine et sa plage au bord du Nil, la vue depuis les chambres donnant sur le Nil . Les différents espaces de détente et restaurants proposés .

La vue sur le Nil et la vallée des rois. Quel dommage d'avoir eu un énorme bateau de croisière parqué devant l'hôtel le 2ème jour, bouchant la vue et avec le moteur allumé toute la journée donc bruyant à la piscine ! Je pense que nous n'avons pas eu de chance !

Had a very nice excursion with them to the valey of the kings area. Also the souvenir shops in the hotel have decent prices unlike the alabaster factory in the valey of the kings:) (there a 70 % discount will get you in the area of relative decent prices).

Friendly staff carrying suitcases, friendly valet, pool man and all the waiters are friendly. This time we tried the Lamb Shank at the El Tarbush restaurant and this dish is excellent. They prepare it in a special, unique way and this preparation is also an extraordinary experience. Breakfast is good and has a wide selection. We will return to this hotel. No comments whatsoever.

• Maxine (10/5): Fabulous hotel for location, service, food and comfortable rooms. - Great location for staying in Luxor. About 20 mins walk to the Luxor Temple. Easy to get taxis to all the sights. Also the hotel has a boat jetty so if you get a water taxi or felucca they can drop you off at the hotel. Fabulous buffet breakfast, both hot and cold items. Lots of fruit, pastries, yogurt, breads and freshly cooked to order omelettes, waffles, pancakes etc. There are also sausages, potatoes, rice, vegetables, hummus, tahini, felafel -the list is endless and all of the highest quality. The service in the restaurant is excellent, the customer service is exceptional. In the evening there are Thai, Italian, Lebanese restaurants and a buffet. Great choice of dishes for each course, all so tasty. Our executive front Nile view room was fantastic, free wifi which was very quick, huge balcony and great views. Very clean and liked the kettle with teas and coffees and the 2 complimentary bottles of water each day. Useful fridge too. Also I'm sensitive to noise, not a problem here as there's really excellent sound isolation, didn't hear any noise from other rooms whatsoever. In the evenings there's live background music for a few hours, very enjoyable whilst enjoying cocktails. Nothing at all to complain about. Nothing.
• Beloslav (10/5): A place we would gladly return to! - The hotel is an Oasis of luxury and relaxation! All was as described and pictured on Booking.com. Rooms were spacious and very well decorated. The view on the Nile was gorgeous. Food was excellent in all restaurants we went to. We had a birthday celebration for our son, the Italian restaurant did a nice surprise to make the date memorable! We used the laundry services - impeccable. I strongly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Luxor! Not easy to find anything really.
• Karcsi (9/5): A great option for Luxor stay - The hotel is beautiful, with great food options for a good price, superb comfort, great quality services, and excellent staff. The room was super comfortable. The Nile panorama from the hotel is unbelievably stunning. There are modern groceries, medical centre, great and cheap felucca options nearby. (Every monuments and must see attractions of the city opens at 06:00, and I really suggest to wake up early, skip breakfast and arrive ahead of the crowd - totally worth it.) Room carpet was dirty and had patches, just like curtain. The bathroom could be improved, ceiling has huge gaps. The hotel has a solution for every guest request or problem, but it'll cost you a lot, and they are not that helpful for finding other solutions, services around the city. But honestly, all these are just minor disadvantages, as overall my stay here and the whole experience was outstanding.

• Peter (10/5): Great location / Great stay .. - A great location as a base to explore and visit valley of the kings and queens , Luxor temple and Karnak temple. We opted for a room with a Nile view which had a great view of the Nile and sunsets.It was a large room with a balcony, a sun lounger and a chair. The staff were very helpful and friendly breakfast and dinner had plenty of choice. We had a great stay. nothing
• Khaled (7/5): Nice room, good atmosphere, but a very poor front desk experience that took too much time and energy away from our trip. - The room itself was actually very nice, especially the courtyard view, which made the stay feel calmer and more pleasant. Late-night room service was very good, and we also enjoyed the evening entertainment after long, busy sightseeing days in Luxor. The hotel has good bones and there are definitely parts of the experience that feel upscale. What let the stay down completely was the front desk. We had to arrive one day late because the road from Hurghada to Luxor was officially closed due to bad weather, and we informed the hotel in advance. We were not asking for anything unreasonable - just a simple adjustment and refund for the first unused night. Instead, it became far more difficult than it should have been. We asked to speak to a manager when we checked in on Friday, but nobody properly dealt with the issue until Sunday. In between, communication was vague and confusing, including a strange WhatsApp message, and the front desk staff were not particularly warm, welcoming, or helpful. We did eventually receive the refund, but only after spending 3 to 4 hours of our holiday chasing something that should have taken 15 minutes. By the end, it was no longer about the money. It was the principle, the lack of professionalism, and the feeling that guest concerns were not taken seriously. What made it even more disappointing is that the matter only seemed to get proper attention after our friends, who had booked a separate room, left negative reviews about their own experience. That is not the level of hospitality I expect from a Steigenberger property.

• Olivier (9/5): Très bon séjour dans un établissent de bon standing - Très bon emplacement face au Nil et à la vallée des rois. Choisir les chambres avec vue sur le Nil car celles avec vue sur la cour intérieure ont peu d intérêt. Bon petit déjeuner. Les restaurants du soir sont assez chers mais de bonne qualité Nous n avions pas le petit déjeuner inclus et les serveurs nous surveillaient comme si nous allions partir sans payer. Très désagréable.

• Evelyn (10/5): Hotel top! - Sehr sauber, gute Lage, leckeres Essen und nettes Personal Die Rezeption gab uns die Auskunft, dass Ausländer mit Ägyptischer Residenzkarte weniger bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten bezahlen, leider war dem nicht so. Einen uber oder indrive zu buchen war nicht möglich, jeder wollte uns scamen. Das Hotel hat uns darauf ein Taxi gerufen und uns den Fixpreis mitgeteilt. Das Taxi wollte dann natürlich am Ende auch mehr. Dafür kann natürlich das Hotel nichts und sie versuchten ihr Bestes.

• Bwuest (9/5): Komfortables Hotel mit wunderschönem Blick auf den Nil - Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal, schöner Pool, toller Blick auf den Nil, gute Restaurants mit fairen Preisen Die Lage ist an einer grossen stark befahrenen Strasse (die man nicht hört). Aber vor dem Hotel wird man von lauernden Taxifahrern und Kutschenfahrern massivst bedrängt. Da kann das Hotel natürlich nichts dafür. Es bietet jedoch nach unserer Kenntnis auch keine fairen Preise an für die typischen Fahrten zu Tempeln etc. Dieses mal haben wir schon gar nicht mehr gefragt, aber bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt waren die Preise für typische Fahrten mit dem Taxi absolut over the top. Das ist ein Punkt, der sehr einfach und sehr positiv für die Kunden gelöst werden könnte
• stephen (8/5): great hotel, need to control concessions. - the hotel was indeed 5 star, the staff were loveliness very helpful. There were plenty of facilities, and it was well placed to visit all of the sights in Luxor. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The extra services that the hotel advertise i.e. the spa and the felucca boat trips did not meet the standard. The spa was very expensive, and we had to negotiate to get a price that was even reasonable, I expected to do this on the streets but not within a 5-star hotel. The felucca trip was a great disappointment. We expected a trip as advertised in the brochure (photo attached), provided by the hotel. Instead, we ended up on a boat with two families with young noisy children, not the romantic sunset trip on the Nile we expected. Also, there was no wind, so we ended up being towed out to the middle of the river and drifted back to the Hotel, the sail wasn't even unfolded.

Good restaurants, excellent staff, everything is clean, and nothing is broken. By Egyptian standards, this is a top-class hotel, so you can book it with confidence. The breakfast is very good, and the food throughout the hotel is excellent in general. There is also a good heated pool. Non

• OSMER (9/5): Gran estancia en Luxor - Excelente ubicación, justo frente al Nilo, personal maravilloso sin pedir “propina” nadie, puedes estar tranquilo que la ayuda que recibas forma parte de su trabajo y/o intención sin esperar algo a cambio. Instalaciones muy limpias, con estilo medio oriente muy acorde al ambiente. El desayuno un manjar. Sin duda una opción para descansar en Luxor La piscina cierra muy temprano, al atardecer. Debería tener horario extendido al menos hasta las 22:00hrs. Incluir mas actividades free por parte del hotel
