Great place poor service!! - The owner promised to refund the breakfast, but later changed his mind, the food was cold, I wasn't going to review but because of his attitude, I'm disturbed. The property is beautiful but the owner is something else. I think his name is Billy. We didn't have privacy coz every 2 minutes he's knocking on the checking for something he forgot to take... If you go there I'd advise you to opt out of breakfast, and forget about having privacy. And him asking for a positive review even before we settled was the 1st red flag. And started bad mouthing someone who had given him a bad review... Now I see why!

And the team were great with helping - The size of the property was brilliant, plenty of space, pool was great and brilliant location for what we needed. Property was more dated than expected and needed a bit of TLC.

• Peter (7/5): Good - The place was fit for purpose. Meeting Rhyn the owner was first impressions last. Nice secured location which is a stone-throw-away from many basic but important business for the visit. There is nothing to subtract really There is nothing to subtract from the place. It was designed for a specific purpose and it serves that purpose especially when the daily rates are brought into the evaluation. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the place both inside and in the garden space
• Somila (3/5): Poor - Nothing really When we arrived they were not ready for us, they apologized and upgraded us to the main house for the rest of our stay then took back the upgrade the next day, when we requested for a refund they refused so we were forced to stay as we didn't have other options

• Crystal (2/5): Needs repairs, deep cleaning and upgrade - The garden looked nice. The host was polite. 1. Wifi was bad, it was sorted for few hours and later disconnected. 2. No privacy. 3. Cleaning was horrible, we cleaned the whole house by ourselves. We were told there's no staff cleaning on weekends but you can see no one that room ever!!! The cupboards were dirty and broken. It was so dirty even asked for mop and broom which was given the following day. We found cans of heinken. 4. One of the fridges was not working and it stinked the whole time we were there even the tap was loose. 5. Windows didn't want to close. 6. The furniture is extremely old and broken. 7. The pool looked unhygienic. 8. We had to give other guests assistance as they were screaming across the gate looking for assistance. 9. The clothing cupboards didn't want to close or lock. Honestly the place is not in good condition. Its needs an upgrade and new cleaning staff. I have attached images.

• Eva (8/5): Birthday Staycation - The location was lovely and the places set up is beautiful. Billy the host was very pleasant and always available to assist before and during our stay. Kept us abreast of everything including load shedding schedule and the fact that we'd be around another bigger group utilizing the other apartments on the same premises. The place wasn't cleaned to the best, which was a bit disappointing. We had to go out to buy cleaning detergents and clean the cutlery and crockery we were going to use. Unfortunately, we couldn't vacuum cause we would've as the carpet clearly showed it was brushed past without any second thoughts

• Uvitha (10/5): Fantastic Stay!!!! - Maxine completely out done herself. She was at my every beck and call regarding us being comfortable and about the area we were staying in. She always made sure we were OK and checked on us everyday. The friendliness from the staff was wonderful. The owner Billy was so accommodating to us. They even helped us with our extra stay of more than 2 weeks They accommodated me washing clothes almost everyday due to having a little baby. Overall out stay was pleasant and we had an awesome time. We will definitely be going back there. The cold 😂 Actually nothing about the accommodation was not to my liking. Everything was wonderful
• Sibongile (4/5): Disappointed - The location was great. The place looked nice and the amazing set up They only gave us the keys to the house at 12am after we arrived at past 9pm. They keep us waiting for over 2 hours. The pool was dirty and there were leaves everywhere
• Joel (1/5): Unsafe and Terrible - This owner is an absolute nightmare. Staff were given access to the rooms even on Saturday morning to use the washing machine for the owner's other properties. Upon stating that this wasn't acceptable this owner completely lost himself and performed an ILLEGAL eviction that booking.com is simply not capable of actually attending to This property should be delisted. It is illegal to remove a tenant from a premises with no warning. The owner of this property is incapable of running a professional business

• Jan (1/5): Do NOT be misled by the “Name”… BAD..!! - We were so much looking forward to this stay, I mean… “Sandton Hotel Apartments” but Please…. do NOT be misled, it’s NOT..!!! It was NOT ready when we arrived…!! Still washing in the washing machine and in a basket in the middle of the floor. Some old food in the Fridge…!! 5 liter cans with Washing liquid and, and, and…. still standing around on the floor in the Kitchen….?? Broken down lights hanging out of the ceiling… the place really need some TLC, please. Good luck…!! For a few Dollars more, I would rather go and stay in the REAL Sandton… don’t be misled.

I was situated in a quiet area where I could also continue working as I was on a work-related trip. I woke up to water shedding, and I was not made aware of this, so it was a bit of an inconvenience because there was little water available.

• Lauren (1/5): Extremely dissatisfied! Harrasing host - We had an issue with the toilet overflowing. When we called the host to help, he came to the property and was very aggressive toward us (just a group of ladies) to the point where we had to call the police. The next morning the host invaded our privacy by presenting himself inside the home at 7am while we were sleeping and started 'doing laundry'. He collected the linen from the empty beds IN the ladies sleeping areas while they were asleep. We felt extremely harrased, disrespected and violated.
• Yonwaba (8/5): I would recommend the apartments, it's a great place. - It was beautifil, clean and great facilities. I booked for 2 apartments but i was with 1 other adult and kids, i should have booked for one but there was no option for that. so i paid for the second one for nothing.
• Rodrigue (10/5): Great. - I appreciated the location compared to my expectations. Then, the quality of the welcome of the owner, the very good level of the equipment of the apartment and its position which offers a very appreciable intimacy. The overall cleanliness is also very remarkable. Small problem with the fridge. The cleaning staff had a little forgotten their cleaning. The smell was not very pleasant when I opened it. But I think it was a simple oversight that does not affect the general cleanliness of the apartment.
