• Umkasam (9/5): It's a great place if you come to study. Convenient location and friendly atmosphere - Excellent location, not only close to the metro, but also the metro line itself is short and convenient to the city center. Tesco supermarket is very close. I lived in two different rooms, on my first visit I got a room with the best bed in the world and a new mattress, but the second time I was put in a room where the mattress was old and the springs were sticking out. But, as I understand it, old mattresses are gradually being replaced. Also, the first time my windows faced the courtyard, and the second time I was unlucky and there was a construction site right in front of me. But I think it's all temporary. Overall, it was clean and I found everything I needed in the kitchen. I came to London to study for a few weeks and I liked that the room had a table and shelves and a closet. The bathroom was clean. Unfortunately, the windows open only a small crack and it was stuffy in the room in the summer. And even in such a small hole, insects flew into the light. If the airing issue could be improved, it would be very good.

• Marta (8/5): It is a nice accommodation but too far from center of London. - The e-suite bathroom with the room, kitchen facilities. The lift not working for two days due to lights failure.

• Kuznetsova (8/5): отличное сочетание цена-качество, идеальное расположение, прекрасное отношение со стороны менеджеров - Если понимать, что это именно аспирантское общежитие, то сочетание цена-качество идеальные. Чистота на кухне зависит в основном от вас и ваших соседей. Все негативные отзывы связаны с ожиданием, что будет сервис традиционного отеля. Ресепшн работает до 20 часов, но менеджеры находятся в здании, при позднем заезде (я приехала после 23 часов) нужно просто позвонить по телефону и менеджер подошел буквально в течении минуты. Неполадки в комнате (был расшатан стул и плохо закрывался кран душа) устранили быстро. От метро до кампуса буквально минуту идти, рядом супермаркет TESKO. Линия метро Victoria с удобной пересадкой на другие центральные линии. Вообще расположение просто идеальное. Я жила в двух комнатах кампуса - в первый приезд и во второй. В первой комнате был абсолютно новый матрас и я высыпалась идеально, правда во второй комнате мне не повезло и матрас был как раз очень старый и продавленный. Также комната выходила на тихую сторону и атмосфера для учебы и отдыха была идеальная. А вот во второй приезд, на короткий срок, меня поселили в комнату, выходящую на стройку и там утром было шумно, но это пока идет стройка рядом здания. Ванная комната чистая, есть просторный шкаф и полки. На территории есть прачечная - за 3,5 фунта можно постирать и высушить белье. В целом, главное понимать, что это комната формата общежития, а не отель в привычном понимании. Большой плюс в том, что менеджеры всегда доступны и действительно готовы максимально помочь в решении ваших просьб, вопросов, потребностей. я проживала дважды в кампусе. Первая комната, в которой я прожила, была в тихой части здания, там была просто идеальная кровать и тишина. Недостатком могу назвать только то, что окно открывается только на небольшое проветривание, поэтому было душновато в жаркие дни. Вторая комната, в которую я вернулась после короткого путешествия по Англии, оказалась с очень неудобным матрасом, из которого выпирали пружины и окна ее выходили прямо на стройку, но мне нужно было провести там только 3 дня и это устроило меня. В общем, основных проблемных вопроса два - может не повести с матрасом) но, возможно, если сезон не высокий, вас могут переселить по вашей просьбе, тут я не уверена, не спрашивала. И второе - плохо проветривается в жару, но, опять же, жара - не частое явление в Лондоне.

• Caz (1/5): terrible - it was next to the job the engineers were working on room promised and paid for was not given, we were told by the advertisement on booking.com, there would be cooking facilities and there was nothing. when one of the engineers asked if there were any rooms which matched the description, the reception staff said we have no rooms with this.

• Ali (6/5): The place is comfortable, just reduce price or make a bonus for those who had previous experience - Yes The price was so expensive, I think there should be a bonus for those who have booked at your accommodation before .
• Kingsley (7/5): A budget short stay only place - The staff were friendly and everything was made clear with using the facilities The curtains were virtually useless for blocking light. A small investment to have curtains that are not paper thin is needed. A small waste paper bin lacking, some simple / basic soap also, since zero provided.
• Graham (7/5): It was ok - remember it is basically student accommodation, not a hotel! Keenly priced, though. - Convenient location very close to Underground. Friendly staff. Safe environment. Clean. Tiny room and shower…no comfortable chair…sheets, pillows and towels a bit basic. The room was a bit airless, but the team kindly found me a fan!

Could I rest and/or sleep well?? Not at all!! What a pity… it looked promising on the advert
• May (7/5): Good, would be nice to have a comfy mattress though. - Was fine overall, good value, and fairly quiet. Perfect location. Mattress was so uncomfortable, thought they’d at least provide toilet roll and hand soap and a hand towel. Only thing they provided with the room was bedding and a towel. But for a 2 week stay it did the job and didn’t break the bank and got an en-suite
• Amy (5/5): Dorm Room NOT Apartment - Please be aware that this property is not apartments, but residential halls! The site staff is friendly and helpful and the location is excellent for access to public transport (or things in the Stratford area), but the accommodation is a minimalistic dorm room! There was one towel, one roll of toilet paper, and a used, store bought soap dispenser as ammenities...no hangers, no beside light, no trash can. The (loud) exhaust fan in the private bathroom went on as soon as the door opened and stayed on for at least 15 minutes after closing the door. There was a shared kitchen at the end of the hall, with fridges, cooking utensils, etc. If you simply need a cheap, safe place to sleep, then you'll be fine, but it is not comparable to a hotel.

• Christopher (8/5): Good place wasn’t ready for guests. - It met my needs. It was nice to have my own shower and toilet. It was quiet for me. Not much around the area. The kitchen was not picked up and the first few days it was missing cookware, plates, bowls, and cutlery. I stayed almost 3-weeks and didn’t get clean sheets and I didn’t have a toilet brush to clean the toilet. It felt like things weren’t thought through for lodgers.

• Mbk (10/5): Simply Awesome - Really nice Value for money Amazing customer service and availability. They went out of the way to ensure i don’t miss the flight. Forgot my airpods at the property they ensured that these are found and handed over to courier for international delivery.
• Sergio (7/5): The student accommodation at Blackhorse Road offers warm, comfortable rooms and is supported by a helpful staff, ensurin - Good heating and water pressure. Lovely staff. Internet connection. It’s a student accommodation; it was quiet because it was the Christmas break but I wonder how it is during other periods.

• Paul (8/5): I was pleasantly pleased. I did very much enjoy my stay and the staff were great. - The location was excellent - very close to the underground and overground station. That there was no room cleaning instrument in the rooms.
• Marta (7/5): At the end of stay they were supplying other guests with more basic facilities. - Private room with e-suite bathroom facilities. Not having change of bed sheets after 7 days stay, toilet rolls not replaced, and at the start the kitchen was bare without any utensils and plates, pots and kettle. To be able to use washing machines, one had to download wats app. of the company who provided the service and after one could use those facilities! no no facilities! .
• Derek (2/5): Nice place but impossible to sleep well. - The room was perfectly clean. The staff were brilliant. The location was so close to the tube. The security was very good. The room was ridiculously hot. I slept with no bed covers for the whole week all night every night. I had to leave the window open all night. Heat and road noise meant I got very poor sleep. No shower mat or room bin. The kitchen was dirty.
• Gary (2/5): Even students wouldn't be pleased - There wasn't a great deal to like, however I would say that the reception area was comfy and even better with air-con. No parking or guidance as to where the nearest was. Very basic facilities in the room, no TV and not even toilet paper! Window didn't open more than one inch, I appreciate this is for safety, but at least provide a fan. Bedding looked like it came from a 12yrlds bedroom, it might aswell of had the local football team printed on it. Pillows were wafer thin and the bathroom fan was very noisy, which continued to run for about 10minutes after closing the door.
