- Kroll (8/5): Unique and funky apartment in a great location - The location is great in Palermo Soho. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants all around. The apartment is funky and unique - I've never seen a 4 level spiral staircase! If you are old or have any mobility issues, you should find another place to stay as the spiral staircase is not for you. But if you are young or have kids they will enjoy the novelty of this funky space and tall spiral staircase. It has everything you need and was comfortable, just be aware that it is cozy and vertically stacked each room on top of the other - 1st floor is Kitchen / Living Room; 2nd floor is a bedroom and bathroom, 3rd floor is another bedroom and bathroom, 4th floor is an office and patio. Every level of the apartment is partially open to every other level through portions of the floor, as well as the spiral staircase. So you can hear whatever the rest of your group are doing on every level. The floor was creaky and loud so again, you hear all movement in the apartment.
