Based on other reviews, I would stay here again, but not book the economy room which was in the basement and was very damp and musty smelling. we got the economy room which turned out to be a basement room. it smelled very damp and musty. there was a window, which opened directly onto the street, so it would be a bad idea to leave it open while away. the air conditoner did a decent job in dehumidifier mode for the bedroom, but the bathrooms didn't dry out, and always smelled. If you must stay here, run the air conditioner in dehumidifier mode at all times. They should either install much better ventilation or stop renting out these basement rooms at all.

• Ana (9/5): Perfeito para as tuas férias em Istambul - A localização era excelente. Super perto do elétrico que te leva diretamente a Sultanahmet e a 5 minutos da Torre Galata. Os funcionários era muito prestáveis e o quarto tinha tudo incluindo chá, café e água. A sanita tinha uma fuga de água e deixava o chão da casa de banho molhado. O chuveiro também deitava água por todo o lado e molhava a casa de banho. De resto era excelente e voltaríamos.

• ian (5/5): It was fine for a short stay, but you get what you pay for. - The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was also a good size, and clean towels were supplied every day. The hotel is conveniently located to get to sites on the 'European side' of the city. The shower sprayed water all over the bathroom, and leaked water from the shower cubicle onto the floor beside the toilet. Also, with the sink tap hot water came out as a dribble, and there was no plug for the sink. On the last day of our stay there was no hot water for a shower.

• Panevska (10/5): - Kind and helpful staff, great location, quiet surroundings despite being in a crowded neighborhood, spacious room, comfortable beds, mini fridge, cups, coffee, tea, sugar, water kettle, and clean linens. Everything was excellent. One small thing to note is that the stairs leading to the rooms are very steep and narrow, so if you have large luggage or limited mobility, keep that in mind.

Встретили доброжелательно, бесплатно повысили категорию номера, хоть мы останавливались всего на 1 ночь , к нам отнеслись как к ВАЖНЫМ гостям и предоставили всё на высшем уровне! Сам отель радует чистотой, комфортом, колоритом, дизайном, удобством расположения - рядом остановка трамвая, целый квартал с вкусными кебабными, кондитерскими(, с демократичными ценами), банками( обмен валюты). Будем рекомендовать данный отель для остановки в Стамбуле всем хорошим людям.

• Stephanie (7/5): Nice hotel, great value! - The location was perfect-- just a few minutes' walk from the Golden Horn in Galata, near Galata Tower and just a few minutes from great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The room was also a great value! It had a mini fridge and a small desk, with basic amenities like water and coffee provided. The receptionist who checked me in was friendly. The place was clean, but I didn't realize my room would be in the basement and the room was on the small side. I only saw someone at reception when I called them so I could check in, otherwise there no receptionist at the desk throughout the day.

• Alina (10/5): - Прекрасный вариант для бюджетных путешествий. В номерах всегда чисто, вежливый персонал, до одной из главных улиц Стамбула пешком 5 минут. Мы с подругой жили в самом бюджетном номере, который находится в подвале. Тем не менее, это никак не повлияло на качество проживания. Не было запахов, у нас в номере было большое окно, а с помощью кондиционера мы легко устанавливали комфортную температуру в любую погоду. А ещё в отеле живет котик Неко. Это прекрасный отель за свою цену!

Остановка в 2х минутах ходьбы (автобус и трамвай) Метро-5 минут. Очень чисто, хороший ремонт. Уборка каждый день. Номера все после ремонта.

• Λαζεκιδης (9/5): A simple, comfortable stay with everything we needed and a very kind host. - The room was very nice and exactly what we needed. We were mostly out during the day and used the room mainly for sleeping and a short rest in between, and for that it was perfect. The room was renovated, clean, and well taken care of, with everything we needed. The host was very kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even better. The only small downsides were that the Wi-Fi signal in our room was weak (while it worked perfectly in our friends’ room) and the soundproofing was not great. However, we slept very well, so it didn’t really bother us.

No lift and a narrow staircase, so not suitable if you have heavy/big luggage. No soundproofing, we had noisy neighbours 3 nights whilst there, so we had trouble sleeping as we are light sleepers. Room was pretty small.

• Amina (10/5): Сам отель мне понравился; обслуживали качественно и быстро. Вернемся сюда еще - Очень чисто и просторно. Воду и необходимые вещи приносили каждый день Хлорированная вода. Но сказали что она везде такая. Также расположение. До станции метро нужно идти вверх в гору(если едите в аэропорт IST), с чемоданом это очень сложно

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich fair für das, was man bekommt. Die Lage ist hervorragend, vieles ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Einzig das Badezimmer war etwas klein, was im Alltag manchmal unpraktisch war. Abgesehen davon hat aber wirklich alles gepasst und wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. • Elena (10/5): Все было отлично, ни разу не пожалела о выборе этого отеля. - Полностью соответствует описанию. Ежедневная уборка, меняли постель. Расположение очень удобное! Комната просторная, на удивление. Хороший напор воды в душевой. Не хватило лишь столика, чтобы пить кофе не в постеле. Стулья были. Но это скорее пожелание на будущее. Лестница действительно крутая и это испытание, но для нас это не было проблемой совершенно.

The stairs up 3 flights were a challenge with all our luggage, but we knew that as going to be the case, and felt it was worth it, considering the price and location.

• Zlata (10/5): A nice stay - First of all, the personnel were extremely nice and helpful, that was much appreciated. The room was clean, and some basic home appliances, like a working hairdryer and a small fridge, were also provided. Another huge advantage is the hotel’s location: central, authentic, and vivid. The hotel is situated close to public transportation (trams and the M2 metro line), and the New Mosque and the Galata Tower are within walking proximity. You can also find many great places to eat out in the area. Be prepared to struggle with carrying your suitcase over the stone-paved streets.

• Sotiris (8/5): - Excellent location, staff responsive and kind. The room on the third floor was comfortable and clean. The one thing I didn't like was the lack of soundproof walls which led to sounds from other rooms disturbing us, especially during the night.
