Near enough to shops/a garage, but far enough away to be peaceful. The main room and kitchen are shared spaces; we were lucky this time that nobody else was staying over, but if they were, it may have been a little awkward sharing these spaces for dinner time etc, so worth checking if you need privacy.

• Martin (10/5): Heerlijke overnachting en een super gastvrouw - Het ontvangst van Marleen was super. Een drankje een klein hapje en een praatje, we voelden ons gelijk thuis. Onze kamer was geweldig, van alle gemakken voorzien en mooi ingericht, had een heerlijke douche en vanaf ons terras een super uitzicht (en ondergaande zon). We hebben een prima overnachting gehad. Het heerlijke zwembad met de comfortabele ligbedden en de rustige ligging (maar toch goed bereikbaar) maakte het helemaal kompleet voor ons. Een plek om, als we weer in de buurt zijn, zeker weer naar terug te gaan. Niets
• Kiran (10/5): Perfect place to escape the crowds and enjoy nature - Fantastic place, the room was beautiful and modern, and the views were spectacular! The hosts were very responsive and kind, would definitely stay again! Nothing to complain about! The room was quite warm but that’s normal for the temperatures in southern Spain during the summer. Although there wasn’t AC there was an overhead fan and a portable fan so we were able to sleep without issues.
• Daphne (10/5): Een droomplek bij Guesthouse Un Poco Más – Appartement “Zon” - Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad bij Guesthouse Un Poco Más, waar we verbleven in het sfeervolle appartement “Zon” met onze twee kinderen. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons direct welkom. Marleen en Patrick ontvangen hun gasten met zoveel warmte en oprechte vriendelijkheid dat je je meteen thuis voelt. De ligging is werkelijk schitterend. Vanaf het terras keken we uit over een prachtig heuvellandschap, met elke dag weer een ander spel van licht en kleuren. De omgeving nodigt uit tot ontdekking: charmante dorpjes en mooie stranden op een prettige rijafstand. Het appartement zelf is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Licht, ruim en stijlvol ingericht, met veel oog voor detail. Binnen en buiten zijn er fijne plekjes om te zitten, te ontspannen en te genieten van het uitzicht. Voor de kinderen was er genoeg ruimte om te spelen en te ontdekken. Kortom: Un Poco Más is een plek waar alles klopt – van de locatie tot de sfeer, en van het comfort tot de hartelijkheid van de eigenaren. Een verblijf hier voelt als een cadeautje. Wij raden het iedereen aan die op zoek is naar een combinatie van rust, schoonheid en gastvrijheid. Wij komen hier graag nog een keer terug. Helemaal niets, alles was perfect!

En la habitación hacia mucho calor y Marlen enseguida nos consiguió un ventilador Por poner algo, hemos estado 6 noches y me hubiera gustado que algun día limpiaran por lo menos el cuarto de baño.

• Sara (10/5): An Unforgettable Stay with Exceptional Hosts and Breathtaking Views - Marlene is one of the most lovable people I’ve met in a long time. I’m going to miss her warmth, she is super welcoming and easy to connect with. Her attention to detail, the love and care she puts into preparing those incredible breakfasts, and her dedication to ensuring every guest has everything they need, are truly remarkable. The views from the house are breathtaking, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The complimentary snacks and water in the room were a thoughtful touch, especially given the distance to the nearest shop. Every detail was meticulously taken care of! For these reasons and so many more, I will definitely be back. The house is nestled in the middle of the mountains, so it’s natural to expect a few mosquito and insect bites when you spend time outdoors. They do provide small fans to help repel them, a thoughtful touch that, once again, reflects their attention to every detail. That said, I’d still recommend bringing some repellent spray if you’re prone to getting insect bites. Aside from that, it’s hard to find any flaws with this guesthouse—stunning location, incredible hosts, breathtaking views... simply perfect.
• Tania (10/5): The Ultimate "Get Away From It All" Experience - We chose this guesthouse because there wasn't anything available in Nerja but what we didn't expect was that we would end up wanting to spend more time in our accommodation than on the beach! The location is beautiful and very peaceful- surrounded by lovely hills and amazing views. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with toys for the kids and boardgames for everyone. The bathrooms were spacious too and extremely clean with enough towels to tide you over for a month. The well stocked kitchen and living room are shared living spaces, but because we went with another family staying in another room, we had the place to ourselves. There is a large pool with salt water for guests to cool off in, outdoor tables on the decks and the cherry on top was a hammock and swing chair! Our hosts Patrick and Marlene were extremely kind and helpful. If you are looking to "get away from it all" then I highly recommend this place!
