On our first night we found a live cockroach and a cockroach egg in the master bedroom. The bath water was yellow/green. A simple Google search shows that a cockroach egg can indicate a potential cockroach infestation — not an isolated incident. Travelling with our 6-month-old baby, this was beyond concerning and entirely unacceptable. Sam’s attitude throughout was dismissive, argumentative and lacking basic empathy. The seriousness of the issue was minimised, communication was poor, and we had to repeatedly chase responses. A partial refund was offered and then withdrawn, which only reinforced the lack of accountability. Yes, the views were beautiful — but no scenery can make up for feeling unsafe, unheard and unable to properly use the property. We would absolutely not stay here again.

If host is able to place a picture or diagram of where the rubbish bins should be located during collection date will be helpful so that we do not feel bad anf miss the collection to avoid full bins.

The host has considered guest needs on every level from all the amenities provided, right through to board games and toys and books for entertainment too. Close to Woolies (6 mins away by car). A perfect base for exploring northern Tasmania. Would stay again.

I suggest if you are planning to stay in this house for holiday then a keep at least 2 days aside for just enjoy the house and view. It's on perfect location and Big W and BWS are with in 5 mins by car.

The house had all the facilities that we needed including washing machine and dryer. Lots of space for our kids to explore. The beds and pillows could use an upgrade.
