• SUSANA (8/5): - L'emplacement juste au-dessus des arènes. Le bâtiment est neuf et encore à peu près en bon état. L'emplacement tout au bout du village. C'est neuf mais si l'entretien continue a ce rythme il va y avoir rapidement des problèmes, surtout avec les traces d'humidité. L'ensemble des matériaux n'est pas de première qualité.

• Joaquin (10/5): PERFECTO - Todo y encima tuvimos la gran suerte de coincidier con la fiesta de la patrona de Alcuescar LA VIRGEN DEL ROSARIO y habia una orquesta en la plaza de toros, que pudimos disfrutarlo desde nuestra habitacion

• Monique (8/5): Mooie plek. - Nieuwe hostel. Wij kregen een eigen slaapzaal met 8 bedden voor twee personen. Heerlijk balkon en mooi uitzicht. Onze fietsen stonden in de garage. Geen personeel aanwezig maar wel gasten om een praatje te maken.
• Huguette (8/5): - Une très belle panoramique de la chambre et de la terrasse. La chambre double très spacieuse. Pas de télévision dans la chambre double.Pas de sèche cheveux. Pas de gel douche. Il faut mettre les draps en arrivant Les appareils dans la cuisine ne sont pas nettoyés.
• Helen (9/5): A good choice if you want cool photos and some privacy whilst walking the camino - Clean comfortable - good shower and really great views. Vending machine useful. Absence of pans a bit frustrating but we made do.
• Henriëtte (6/5): Voor 1 nacht is het oké - Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. personeel.Toen ik aankwam was alleen de schoonmaakster daar, en kreeg ik in eerste instantie een donkere kleine kamer naast de receptie, die ik niet gereserveerd had. Toen ik dit aangaf, ging zij bellen en kreeg ik een veel betere kamer. Werd ook geholpen bij het regelen van een taxi. Het is een heel bijzondere locatie, aan een oude stierenvechtersarena! Schitterend uitzicht vanaf balkon! Rustige locatie. Het is schoon en ruim opgezet. Er is een keuken, maar die heb ik niet gebruikt. Er is een terras waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Ik vind het erg sfeerloos en ongezellig. De inrichting is saai, geen kleur. Personeel is nauwelijks aanwezig. Bed was erg hard, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Geen bedlampje alleen 1 grote lamp aan het plafond. Stopcontact bij het bed werkte niet. Ik had twee persoonskamer gereserveerd maar er stonden vier bedden.

• Paul (8/5): Gray for a one night stop on The Camino - All good here. We had a private room for two people with a private bathroom. Everything was clean. Make your own beds, linen and towels provided. Vending machines in the common area. I wasn’t sent the entry code or the key box code so waited a while before having to call someone.

• Marie-Hélène (8/5): Bonne étape sur la Via de la Plata - Emplacement incroyable dans ce joli village perché d’Alcuescar avec une vue plongeante sur la campagne alentour et sur les arènes du village juste en dessous des fenêtres. Établissement entièrement moderne. Cuisine équipée pour prendre ses repas après avoir fait ses courses au Dia du village.

• Ella (8/5): Clean comfortable room in central location - Clean comfortable room and spacious common area with a kitchen and vast eating area opening onto a terrace with views over the village and valley. It felt very new and fresh. Located very close to the centre of the village and a couple of cafes and restaurants offering reasonably priced meals.

• Carlos (1/5): Estancia pésima y helado de frio. - Las vistas La cama pequeña e incomoda, el aparato de climatizacion no calentó la habitación, lo encendí a las 17:30 y no lo apagué hasta las 08:00 del día siguiente y no calentó la habitación. Dormí con dos nordicos y la colcha de la cama para no helarme de frio, no me pude duchar porque hacía mucho frio como para hacerlo, no había gel de ducha, poca iluminación en la habitación etc, etc. 50€ la noche sin tener desayuno incluido es carísimo. No volvería ni gratis la verdad, es la primera vez en mi vida que pongo un comentario malo de algún sitio. Lo único bueno la chica que me atendio al registrarme, profesional, amable y atenta.

• Román Gimeno (6/5): - Zonas comunes desangelado y Frio, no funcionaba el aire acondicionado y por lo tanto la bomba de calor. No funcionaba la televisión en las zonas comunes, de todas las maneras habría que verla con abrigo puesto como cuando comíamos.
• V.U.P. (3/5): Hat den Charme eines Kühlschranks - Die Aussicht war schön! Zum Verständnis. Ich war als Pilger im November hier! Preis ist mit 50 Euro für ein DZ in der Nebensaison sehr grenzwertig. Aber was ich dann für das Geld bekam, war eine Frechheit. Das Zimmer war nicht vorgeheizt, also kalt. Ausserdem musste ich mein Bett selber beziehen. Es gab pro Bett ein Handtuch, aber keinen Duschvorleger (siehe kalt) - gut gab es das zweite Handtuch :-) Für die Duschbrause gab es keine Halterung (wohl nie). Ausserdem gab es ein absolutes Novum. Eine Wand und der Fussboden Richtung Treppe waren aus Glas(!). Es gab zwar einen Vorhang, der aber nicht verhinderte, dass die ganze Nacht Licht ins Zimmer eindrang, da das Treppenhaus, die ganze Nacht beleuchtet war. Zudem war eine Steckdose wirklich lebensgefährlich, da die Abdeckung fehlte(!), was man aber nicht auf den ersten Blick sah! Ebenso gab es im ganzen Haus keine Möglichkeit für Recycling - was man heutzutage in Spanien in fast allen Herbergen vorfindet. Ich wurde während des Tages mehrmals angefragt, wann ich denn eintreffe, was ja als Pilger schwer vorher zu sagen ist. Nach der Ankunft kam die Mitarbeiterin nach einigen Minuten mit dem E-Trotinett angebraust, wollte aber nichts anderes als schnell wieder weg!

Que no se puede aparcar cerca, que me parece caro para un persona sola y que no se pueda reservar un precio para uno o habitación simple. Te tienes que hacer tú tu propia cama.Si pones precio de hotel da servicio de hotel . Sino que lo pongan más barato y más para una sola persona.

• Rob (5/5): The view is nice but there are much more comfortable places in the area at this price point - Beautiful view with a great deck Very uncomfortable mattress, seems there is ax lack of focus on providing for lodger comfort,from having guests make their own beds to the coffee vending machine, which would require periodic maintenance to allow renters to buy their one euro coffee. I was in room five, which requires curtains to be drawn to cover the stairwell and the room entrance and the light leaks kept the room lit throughout the night. No TV in the room but that was mentioned in the description. There was a bottle of soap.

• Doris (7/5): - Die Herberge macht von außen einen sehr neuen und gepflegten Eindruck. Um sie zu betreten, muss man die auf der Tür angegebene Telefonnummer anrufen und erhält anschließend einen PIN-Code, mit dem man eintreten kann. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, bekamen jedoch ein Achtbettzimmer zur Alleinnutzung. Leider entsprach dieses überhaupt nicht den Fotos auf Booking.com und hat uns daher nicht besonders gefallen. Einige Steckdosen waren defekt, und der Balkon war stark verschmutzt. Das Badezimmer ist barrierefrei gestaltet, wodurch die Toilette sehr großzügig ausfällt. Die Küche war allerdings nicht sauber, und auch im Aufenthaltsbereich sowie auf der Terrasse waren die Tische und Stühle verschmutzt. Bevor wir dort unser Mittagessen einnehmen konnten, mussten wir erst die Plätze selbst reinigen.

• Peter (7/5): Albergue op prima locatie. - Grootte kamer en vriendelijke host ( Fatima) Ik heb kamers schoner gezien, gordijnen hingen los, ramen niet echt schoon en het zou fijn als er een gordijn hangt voor het raam van het toilet. Vreemd dat er niemand was bij aankomst, gelukkig belde een mede pelgrim de host. De keuken was een zooitje. Blijkbaar eind seizoen. Het terras was ook een beetje gedateerd. Niet vervelend bedoeld maar enige en blijvende onderhoud doet wonderen.

• Tea (6/5): Not a pleasant stay on Via de la Plata - The property is new and designed to be very modern, which attracts the attention of travelers. Although it is a new and very modern property, staying there was not a pleasant experience. The design is impractical — the windows are difficult to open, there are no bedside lamps, and the main lights are harsh and uncomfortable. The common areas were untidy, and the vending machines for food and drinks were nearly empty. Staying in a private room was very expensive — significantly more than in the clean, comfortable, and well-equipped hotels in the area. I would not recommend it to pilgrims on the Via de la Plata.

• Terri (9/5): Excellent albergue! - Clean, bright, and very well appointed for pilgrims on VDLP. Loves the views, large deck, and excellent kitchen & dining area! We had bottom floor private room which was very accessible and nice for spreading out our things. The shower water sprays the floor and there are no towels or rugs so it was hard to keep floor/feet dry.

• Karen (8/5): Very good - We had a private room which was great for an albergue. It was very clean and had good facilities. The terrace outside has fantastic views. The coffee machine took the money but didn't have any coffee.

Large twin room with great views. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free red wine! Good location for pilgrims on the Via de la Plata. The beds weren't very comfortable.

• Carmel (8/5): Newly refurbished comfortable hostel in central location. - Newly refurbished hostel with heating and comfy beds. Friendly and efficient host. Located close to centre of town. Great views. The common area feels a little industrial but maybe that was because we were the only guests in late January.
• Jessica (8/5): Very good - The host was very helpful and friendly! The view of the valley and the bullring are beautiful! The shower/ hot water! The welcome red wine! There need to be a hairdryer. H5, my room’s curtains are all a bit losing the rings at each end. The window is somehow difficult to open and close properly. And part of my room’s lighting switch is located outside the room… all can be fixed easily!
