• Garry (10/5): Great homestay - This place.was wonderful. In a great spot on the edge of town but still within arms reach of everything. Sea lions outside the little blue door entrance. The hosts were very accomodating and always contactable. The residence is large with two bedrooms (we only used main). Everything that ypu need for a comfortable stay in an amazing town. Nothing.

• vincent (7/5): Bon séjour sans plus - La localisation, malgré un chemin très étroit entre des hauts murs pour y arriver. Mais directement face à la plage et la mer pour voir des animaux. Strict minimum pour cuisiner (exemple: peu de couverts, couteaux, ciseaux, etc.
• Maetrix (7/5): Spartanisch aber für ein zwei Nächte GUT! - Die Lage ist wirklich ok. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist anderds als auf den Bildern aber auch ok. Es ist durch einen sehr schlaen Zuweg erreichbar und dann ca. 15 Stufen nach oben was mit viel Gepäck schon sportlich ist. Wassser wurde bereitgestellt und auch sonst war alles spartanisch aber gut. Weihnachten werde ich das nächste mal wieder woanders feiern aber die Pizzaria um die Ecke hat es irgendwie abgerundet. Die Zuwegung...

• Ghislaine (7/5): Lieu agréable et calme une fois qu’on trouve l’entrée - L’emplacement et le calme. La vue depuis le toit. Les bananes à l’arrivée 😍 L’accès est difficile et étroit. Les escaliers sont glissants quand il pleut fort.

• Gerald (9/5): - Kleine Wohnung inkl. Küche (Gasherd) & zwei Schlafzimmer (1x mit Doppelbett, 1x mit zwei Einzelbetten). Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, sehr hilfreich und gut erreichbar (sofern infos etc. benötigt wurde). Preis/Leistung passt einfach. Einzig die Duschwand lies sich nicht ganz einfach ganz auf/zu schieben. Ist aber vernachlässigbar.

• Claudia (10/5): - Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und super ausgestattet. Fernanda war megafreundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Abholung vom nahe gelegenen Flughafen wäre kein Problem gewesen. Es lag bereits Obst bereit und eine große Wasserflasche zum Auffüllen war inclusiv. Es gibt eine Espresso Maschine und einen großen Kühlschrank. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen wunderbaren Blick über die kleine Bucht, die mit Seelöwen besiedelt ist. Ein Wäscheständer, ausreichend Handtücher und warme Decken bei Bedarf waren vorhanden. SUPER! Das Appartement ist mit einem Code gesichert. Es war perfekt!
• Adams (10/5): - The property was in a peaceful part of the main port area and within walking distance of the airport and restaurant areas. The rooms were clean with comfortable accommodations. Laura and Fernanda were very helpful, meeting us at the beginning, providing fresh towels when needed and giving recommendations for taxis and travel agency to book tours.

• Mark (9/5): Strategic location - Perfectly located 2 bedroom apartment right at the beach, you can even hear seals humming at sunset. We found the beds comfortable and we also liked the giant water dispenser, so we didn't have to buy multiple plastic water bottles. Self check-in would have been great to avoid multiple phone calls and knocking on the neighbour's door.
• Alison (8/5): Very good - Very spacious, twin beds were comfy, clean, air conditioning was great in main living area. When you check in, you meet Laura at the gate, just across from sunrise and coffee and next to a blue house there's a long hallway. The location on google maps doesn't take you there. Double bed was pretty firm. We ended up pushing the twins together.
• Emma (9/5): We stayed here for 5-nights and loved it. The location is excellent- close to the port/pier and across from sea lio - The location is excellent. Close to the pier. Across from sea lions and iguanas. Felt safe. Nothing that we disliked.
• Jade (8/5): Amazing location, great value, fantastic hosts! - The hosts were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us! Beautiful location right on the beach and opposite where all the sea lions rest at night. Nice and spacious and clean (perfect if you like to cook yourselves) The bed was uncomfortable which was a real shame. I know the hosts are getting this resolved and a better mattress so that it would be a 10/10 score for us!!
• Jan (5/5): Good location, but needs some work (shades over windows to keep out heat). Not the best value for the price. - There was a/c in the bedrooms, but the living area was quite hot even with the swamp cooler. The location was centrally located. There was no hot water in the showers and we had issues with both toilets while there.

• Dennis (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location overlooking the bay. We loved waking up in the morning to the sounds of sea lions barking nearby. The apartment had everything that we needed and was within easy walking distance of everything. The snorkeling a short walk from the Interpretation Center was excellent. We especially enjoyed access to deep water from the constructed decks; great snorkeling and no sand! From here we saw sharks, rays, sea lions swimming under us sea turtles and an abundance of smaller colorful fish.
• Ingrid (8/5): A room with a view ! - Accessibility to everything The space was very nice and clean. Rooms comfortable. Contains all you need to make meals and fresh safe drinking water , air conditioning in bedrooms. The entranceway was difficult to find but ok once you know where it is. Another comfortable chair to sit on and another end table would be nice. A few more hangers would be helpful. There is no outdoor seating area unless you want to share a bench across the street with a sea lion!
• Roman (8/5): Pleasant clean and spacious apartment in a relatively quiet place not far from the town center - Good location, at the end of a street, relatively quiet place while not far from the town center. Well equiped, very clean, light and spacious apartment, obviously maintained with care and passion. The owner was very helpful and interested about our satisfaction, although not present (communicated via Whatsapp). Good value for price (when compared to other options in town). The access (mentioned in other reviews) is a bit narrow, but we had just backpacks, so no problem for us. Terribly creaking beds, one of them in a very bad shape, almost crumbling. Barking dogs in the neighborhood. Of course, this is not a fault of the owners, but not good for sleep. Noise from construction nearby, but this is obviously common situation in the town this year - new constructions in almost every street. The person introducting us to the apartment, didn't speak English at all.
• Rocio (5/5): I found better places for the same price while I was in town.Next time I’ll check the reviews before a book a place . - Close to the pier and restaurants. The entrance is very small, the floor is uneven which makes it difficult to carry big pieces of luggage. (We stayed on the second floor)The faucet was loose and hard to use it, the bathroom had a nasty smell. No one on site to ask for clean towels, no hairdryer.

• Michal (10/5): Great and convenient place in San Cristobal - The location was amazing and we could hear the sea lions from the window. The apartment was clean, cosy and suited all our family needs. The owner assisted even while was away, and we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Los Marinos. The WiFi was sometimes slow to upload pictures, but this is all over the island of San Cristobal.
• Ramon (10/5): Exceptional - Ms Laura and Fernanda are excellent hosts providing a great apartment with spacious living area. The apartment is located right across from the beach and main road. There is no hotel sign so Laura will meet you outside. The entrance is through a narrow passage from the main road.
• Charlotte (7/5): Family down time - The location is good. Directly across from the beach at the far end of town, so easy walk to the malecon. The owners were very responsive via WhatsApp. Facilities were clean and the value for the home was good for the area. Air conditioners worked. There was a functional cook top and fridge. Very nice to have the fresh fruit on arrival. I would stay here again. A few more utensils like a good cutting knife and maybe some mixing bowls would be nice. Main bed was a bit small for two people. Small bugs in the shower but this is South America so ?? The access to the suite is almost impossible to find without someone meeting you, it’s down a very narrow hallway. The hosts mother Laura is lovely in ALL manners but speaks no English at all and we had a difficult time, even with google translate, interpreting the instructions she was giving us. Not a huge issue but was confusing for both parties.
• Eugenia (9/5): It was a comfortable spacious well located apartment very suitable for our family. - First, the location. The property was in the center but a little on the side, next to a military base and away from the bustle and the noise. It was right across a small beach with many sea lions, which were fun to watch. We were traveling, my husband and I, with our adult daughter, and it isn't always easy to find suitable accommodations for such a company. The apartment has two bedrooms, which was good for us, and a small kitchen with a sitting area. The beds were comfortable, and we had ample space for our snorkeling gear. All in all, we had an excellent time. Nothing, really. There was a small problem in the bathroom: the sink was awkwardly positioned, so if were were not careful, it dripped water on the floor. But that was not a big deal.

• Valencia (9/5): Confortable family apartment - Guests are welcome with fruits, the staff is really nice, they give you hints about the island and what to visit in it. The apartment feels spacious and confortable. The bathroom is a little bit small, and has no good air flow, which makes it pretty warm after taking a shower.
• Dawn (9/5): Excellent place, great location, friendly and helpful hosts! - The property was private, spacious, and clean. The location was very convenient and close to everything we needed in the town. The hosts picked us up at the airport, which made for a smooth checkin. The shower head could be better, to improve the water flow and temperature.
• Joyclyn (10/5): Great space to watch the sea lions and on the marina so easy to walk to tours, restaurants, shops, and ferries. - Great location. You can go up on the roof and watch the sunrise and see the sea lions and boobies and pelicans play in the port. The shower only has one temperature, but it’s good. The hosts were very nice and left out fruit, an idea/excursions book, and answered promptly. It’s behind some other buildings down a tiny hallway so definitely communicate your arrival time and they will meet you at the street. They let us leave our luggage for a few hours while they cleaned for the next arrivals which was very nice. I think these are just things that are common in the Galapagos. If you want an “American” hotel then you might want to stay at the way more expensive hotels. The sinks only have cold water and it is not drinkable but they leave a huge jug of water with a filter. The shower also only has one faucet but it is hot but not too hot. It looks like the pictures. There are air conditioners in each room but they mostly leave windows open. We only made coffee but the kitchen seemed reasonably equipped. We were 4 adults and we were very comfortable. The area of town is great, but the buildings in front of it are under construction so it is not a pretty walk up. However the view from the windows is good and I enjoyed the rooftop. A folding chair or something to take to the roof would be nice.

• Olivia (10/5): A fantastic place to stay in San Cristobal! - The location was perfect - so close to town and you could hear the sea lions from bed! Air conditioning in the bedrooms was lovely, nice big kitchen, comfortable beds, great host! There was also lots of local information which made it easier to plan our days.
