Guest Reviews
- Sharon (6/5): -
- Jena (8/5): -
- Jill (6/5): Grateful but it needs a good clean, replace/remove the carpet and update bathroom - Location and size Not clean, very outdated, small shower, smelly
- Michael (6/5): - House was good enough, good enough for a work trip. Outside the house was quite rough, shed was not usable for parking the car. Curtains were falling apart in living areas.
- Lee (8/5): Had everything I needed and thoroughly enjoyed my stay - Was very close to family
Lovely area, quiet and felt safe staying there Amon my own While its pet friendly I was apprehensive about letting my dog off the lead by herself, the backyard is very adequate for a large dog but my jack Russel would have hit through the gaps in the back fence. Lovely big grassed backyard
- Sharon (10/5): Get together for our babysisters one year memorial - Everything Mattresses little hard but other wise great
- Nick (8/5): Had a good stay a bit some of the stuff in the kitchen has to be replaced - Love the size of the house very big A few things in the kitchen need to be renewed
- Atkins (5/5): - The house was in a poor state with tattered curtains, mouldy silicone in bathrooms, toaster was tacky on the top and internal full of crumbs, no teatowel, only paper towels, no milk in fridge, only a few sachets of coffee and tea, definitely not enough for 4 people. Can get better in a motel. On the positive, once we managed to put the floor heating on, the house was warm.
- Vanessa (10/5): Definitely worth the money, would highly recommend - Close to everything and close to family
- Andrew (7/5): Basic but comfortable and centrally located. - The accommodation was very clean and central to Drouin. 1. The beds were very hard. 2. There were no kitchen towels/sponges for washing up. 3. The house was tired and tawdry and could do with a modest update, e.g., torn curtains, etc.
- Skye (10/5): - Location
- Doug (5/5): We were warm and the shower was great, including the fantastic towels. Checkin needs to be improved. - Once we got the ducted heating working, we enjoyed the warmth.
The towels were the best we have ever had in accomodtion.
Once we found the food provisions, they were excellent. We didn't use them as there wasn't any milk Whilst I thought everything had been sorted through emails, it wasn't. I had a 12.00pm check in confirmed once we had made the booking, as we had a wedding at 2.00pm.
We received an email on the day of arrival to confirm our booking and that the code would be sent two hours prior. We still hadn't received our code by 12.45pm. It was extremely difficult to contact the owner, but once we did, she was very efficient and sent the code. We did make it to the wedding on time after we had changed!
The bed was very hard.
- Rizzy (6/5): value good, amenities not great, but could be easily improved. - Once we worked out how to use the complicated heating controller, ( of which there was no instructions) it was a pleasant warm house. It was spacious, and even though there was an issue with entering the property when we arrived (blackout had messed up the electronic code so it would not accept it) she was very pleasant and organised the cleaner to drop off a real key. The stovetop and oven would not turn on. Its a gas one and the clicker did not function , meaning we had to eat out. The tatty furniture, cobwebs and curtains made it look a bit dodgy. The bedside lamp had no bulb. It wouldnt take much to make it nicer, just take down the net curtains!
- Frances (8/5): We enjoyed our stay in this property - Towels were lovely and soft
Comfortable beds
Lots of space The house is a 70s/80s style. So things are wearing out but it is clean.
The TV needs to be connected to an antenna
More crockery would be good but what’s there is nice
- Columbian (10/5): Exceptional - Nice amenities Mattress was alittle hard but gave a great sleep
- Kara (4/5): Disappointing -
- Brian (4/5): Poor value for money. - Good location to the centre of town. The property had not been cleaned thoroughly, it looked like the floors had not been vacuumed. There was no in formation provided on how the wifi was accessed, or any local information for guests. The curtains in the lounge were in very por condition.
