Michael (1/5): A family lives here! VERY MESSY. Clean your showers! - Good location, updated bathrooms. You know what's not clear, that a family lives here 24/7! Not to mention the house is a wreck of a kids playland. Toys and clothes everywhere! The bathrooms were very dirty. Toilet, floor and shower had lots of different hair inside. Biggest problem is the listing is VERY misleading. A large family lives here 24/7; it's their full time house, you are just staying in one of their kids spare rooms. HVAC is controlled through an Ecobee, but they have energy settings applied to VERY slowly change the temps. One of the two beds felt broken in the middle and room was very small. Bathroom is updated, but very dirty during our stay.

Ac (8/5): Quite, clean, safe but hot in the summer - Nice modern room and very new and clean. Big bathroom. nice tub. Felt safe. Secure lock on the bedroom door and front house door. safe neighborhood. The host was very nice and took action if and when I needed anything. The room was very hot and there was no fan. 76-73 degrees at night when trying to sleep. The AC would click off on and off. They say AC but for the king room but it's controlled by the rest of the house so you need to message them if you need it cooler and it struggles to get cool. The owners are very nice and did try to turn it on but the coolest the room ever got was 72 degrees at night. Hotter in the day with it 94 degrees outside. It was cool outside at night but the window barely opens. Shower needed to be cleaned a little better. The kitchen and living is definitely a shared space. I would advise labeling any food in the fridge.

Yaroslav (3/5): Disappointed - The room we rented was simply 10 out of 10. The only thing I didn’t understand, there were someone’s clothes in the wardrobe room and some shaving razors in the bathroom. The shared room on the ground floor was just awful. Half of the table was covered with empty milk bottles (which no one cleaned up during the two days we were there) random food containers, cereal, nuts, and chips. The area around the TV was cluttered with stuff and clothes. A suitcase stood open in the middle of the room for two days. The kitchen chairs were extremely dirty. Outside wasn’t better, the grass in front of our house was the only one not cut. The gate door squeaked so loudly that I woke up every time someone came in or out.

The host was very welcoming and was very responsive to messages, responding swiftly. If I return to Vancouver I will definitely try to stay here again! Nothing.
Luxnawadee (4/5): Amenities please... - Spacious room, modern decorative, good location, free parking on the street. There is quiet hours rule which I totally understand and apologize for making noise at late night. We came for graduation ceremony so we had nights out and things to prepare for the big day. No proper amenities, no clean tissue rolls, soap, shampoo almost empty bottles. I usually travel with my own personal care, but not the toilet tissue rolls.
Robin (4/5): Could have been better - The Twin Room and it’s bathroom were clean. The house is located in a quite neighbourhood. In the Twin Room there was only one bed really fit for adults. The other bed was too tiny and didn’t have a slatted base which made it uncomfortable. The shared spaces were really messy (clothes laying around, food leftovers on the table, …). Not sure if this was from other guests..

Warren (9/5): Superb - The heated toilet seat is a nice touch. The kitchen is over the top. Having shared laundry facilities was very convenient. The host was very polite and accommodating. Everything was nice and clean. I got the impression from the description when booking that I would have had a fridge of my own in the room however I was given a generous space within the shared fridge. A reading lamp or dimmer switch in the room would have been nice.

Lea (7/5): Nice big modern house - The room was comfortable and clean. Towels and soaps were provided. It was easy to get into with the room code. The kitchen was accessible with large lettering on each cabinet to know where things were. I did not use the kitchen but it was there. the owners were very quick to respond when I informed them of the smoke detector beeping from low battery. temperature was good. Felt like the house was empty since I hardly heard any noise. The entryway was dark at night but I got there during the day so I knew what to expect. I didn't realize the house was lived in, so that took me by surprise. Didn't feel as private once I saw all the children's toys and things around the house and heard the children coughing downstairs briefly. Hopefully they weren't sick. Would have been nice to have a night light in the room for reading. there was a constant humming noise. I don't know if it was the furnace.
