Guest Reviews
- Alexandra (10/5): Beautiful - So relaxing along the Nile from dawn to sunset. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and the amazing hospitality. I really want to say a MASSIVE thank you to the gentleman who gave me £10 to get back into Luxor to catch my bus home! A very difficult moment worked itself out thanks to him, many, many thanks 🙏 Lovely food and beautiful surrounds. I will be back for sure. Thank you Eyaru for a wonderful vacation 😊 Nothing
- Nina (9/5): - Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff who did everything they could to make us feel at home. Good sized rooms and comfortable bed with amazing views of the Nile. Good breakfast and home-cooked food. Twenty minutes drive from Luxor, this is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town center.
- karl (7/5): Peaceful ,Relaxing , remote helpful staff - Nice location by the Nile & peaceful far enough away from the manic city.
Rooms and Hotel staff were excellent It was difficult getting a Taxi to or from the Hotel as it’s quite a way out from centre. Totally reliable on Hotel as it is remote & nothing is around outside
- Ina (8/5): -
- Sara (10/5): Great place - I loved Eyaru Palace so much that I booked 2 extra nights. You will never find a room view like the one in Eyaru, where you willl be able to enjoy a view of the Nile from your bed and sleep with the energy of the river, being able to live the truly Egyptian experience. The outdoor facilities feature a clean and cozy pool, with a chill out area and a bar where they serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The view of the pool area is also breathtaking, you can swim in the pool while admiring the nile, and sit in the balcony that is right in front of the Nile to appreciate the most amazing sunset. Also, the hotel faces a part of the Nile that is close to an island inside the river, meaning no cruises cross through the nile and there are no noises or pollution at all in this part of the river, a fact that I found beautiful and worth highlighting. The facilities are comfortable, the breakfast is varied and fresh, the hotel also offers and oriental menu with lots of options - the staff are kind and always willing to help, specially Nour the hotel owner , who will do anything to assure your confort in Eyaru. Location is a highlight, since it is away of the city stress yet not far from the centre by car, around 20 minutes and with all driving services available in the area for reasonable price . You will not find the privacy and exclusivity of first line nile view in the centre of Luxor, and even less with the very reasonable price Eyaru offers and the cute swimming pool for the hottest days. The room has everything you need apart from being very spacious and clean. The AC wifi and other essential services have 0 failure . I will chose Eyaru for my next stay in Luxor

- Elif (7/5): - Good view - clean rooms- comfy beds- breakfast is also okay - staff was helpful The day we arrived a construction has started. We wanted to choose this hotel to chill and relax but they were starting at 7.30 am so if you are planning to choose this place these days reconsider this.
Wifi is not working
- Alexander (9/5): -
- Tiril (10/5): -
- Tarek (9/5): - Nice view, rooms are wide and clean, away from downtown noises Nothing
- Gabriela (10/5): Perfect stay near Luxor - Massive room, clean and tidy, beautiful Nile view. Staff was attentive and kind. Fresh breakfast. A bit far from Luxor centre but you can get an InDrive for about 200 - 300 EGP. Don’t let that stop you from staying here as the views are unbeatable.
- Gabriele (10/5): Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in familiärer Atmosphäre.
- Andy (10/5): A fab place to stay! - This hotel is in a beautiful location, overlooking the Nile, it was a great place to relax after sight seeing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nour is a fabulous host, who arranged great cost effective trips with trustworthy drivers. Unfortunately, the pool was temporarily out of action. Otherwise, it would have been a 10 out of 10!
- Mostafa (10/5): Awesome Place - Cozy Place Not easy to find transportation from to central place in luxor, unless you build some connections.
- Bishoy Saad (10/5): -
- chris (10/5): Helpful staff great space - Brilliant haven of peace.
- Alexander (10/5): Good cheap hotel - Good services good price nice staff
- Esthahasi (10/5): - Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, toller Nilblick, sehr sauber, tolles Frühstück!!!
kommen gerne wieder Pool zu kalt
- LALAUZE (10/5): Calm and friendly paradise by the Nile - This place is truely a gem, it’s been open for a year only yet everything was impeccable. Nur and his family were extremely kind and helpful which made my stay even more enjoyable. The place is a bit outside of Luxor which is the perfect place to escape Luxor’s busy streets and sites, the 20 minutes ride is no problem if you just download inDrive ( like uber). Bonus: the food was very good!
- Mariam (9/5): -
- Daniela (9/5): -
Situation totalement inacceptable.
Établissement à fuir absolument. L'acceuil
- Nick (10/5): - Nour is an amazing host and all the other staff is super friendly. The place is clean, big and the shower is good. Nothing
On reviendra Tout était parfait
Futurs voyageurs : foncez, vraiment !
- Benjamin (7/5): Lovely hotel, location has it strengths and weaknesses - Very stylish rooms and comfy beds, lots of space. Location was good for quietness, and the scenery. Location from Luxor makes it a bit more challenging for tours as some of the pickups don’t include the area, food is a bit expensive. It’s a new place so think there is a lot of potential
- Kubota (9/5): -
- Kari (10/5): Best of Egyptian hospitality! Peaceful place on the Nile. - This hotel is a beautiful family run place on the peaceful river Nile! They offer up the best of Egyptian hospitality. I want to return to Luxor one day and will stay here again. Super clean, great breakfast, comfy beds, and the owner and staff will go out of their way to make your stay special.
- Salomé (10/5): -
- Kari (10/5): A very soecial place on the Nile. - I have been travelling all over the world for the past 5 years and have stayed in a lot of hotels Airbnbs, etc. and Eyaru Palace was one of the best experiences I've had. It is family run by a local Egyptian family who treat you like family. The owner and manager, Nour, went out of their way for me a number of times. They organized tours for me, prepared breakfasts, found me transportation and were happy to do whatever they could to make my stay memorable. This was the best of Egyptian hospitality.
The people are the most important part of this hotel but also note-
-the Egyptian breakfast is delicious and plentiful,
-the hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.
-The view of the Nile is gorgeous,
-there is a large swimming pool.
-it is peaceful and quiet. The hotel is away from the main centre but it is cheap and easy to get a taxi when needed I wanted to stay longer. I didn’t like that I had to leave.
- Roggen (7/5): Gorgeous views - Gorgeous views over the nile, nice pool and very helpful staff. Don't recommend eating or using hotel taxis, they charge double (or often more than double) for anything (a taxi to the centre with them was 600 while with anyone else it was 300 (egyptian pound) and for their food they charged between 15 and 25 euros, while we had dinner in a 5 star hotel in the centre for 9 euros per person)
- Ahmet (1/5): Horrible - Nothing The owner is liar.He tried to cheat us.He organised a guided tour for us but he did not accept the price we agreed on.He asked more money later.
There are many weird insects in the room.Cleaning is not well at all.
- Batiste (1/5): Bad feeling on this hotel and agressive manager - - The Nile View is amazing This is not a family hotel like mentionned on the description. The owner own various hotels and he never talk to us and I never saw him. He is not responding de messages.
We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. No cleaning were made during our stay even if I ask for it.
Nour, the manager, don’t understand English well and it’s complicated to arrange thinks.
The AC is not working so it was very hot on the room.
We recommend no to use Nour help for visiting, that happened very bad for us ( the drive disappear during the day).
The last night, electricity was down (only on the hotel).
Nour, the manager, start being agressive and insulted me. I was scared for me and my 72 years old mother.
- Natalie (8/5): Ok for one day - Nice quiet place Bit far from the centre, lots of flies
- Anne (10/5): If you love authenticity and a beautiful view! - The manager and his staf were kind and would do absolutely everything to help you. The hotel was outside the very busy and loud citycenter, what we wanted. Tour operators came to pick us up at the hotel, so distance is not a problem. We enjoyed the lovely rooms, good kitchen and the beautiful view on the nile.
- Dave (10/5): Will be going back - The cab we booked didn't show up at the airport so we phoned the Eyaru Palace who sent a cab straight away., the original wasn't booked through the hotel.
From the minute we arrived it was like coming home, Nour the manager, Sara his wife, also an excellent chef and is helping hand couldn't do enough for us.
We will be returning when we can. Everything was to like, no problems at all.
- Laila (5/5): Passable - Booking here was a big mistake, it is way too far from the city center and in Luxor the price of taxi is very expensive compared to Cairo or the Red Sea destinations. No Uber and it is very hard to bargain, sometimes driver were asking prices higher than in Italy.
I dont want to go through details because there are too many things to say about Eyaru Palace, the place is in front of the Nile and this is a plus but all the rest need to be fixed, cleaning, breakfast, welcoming the guests…hospitality is not a game but a proper job.
I gave a 5 because there is room to improve the business.
- Fantine (6/5): Oasis with shadow - The room was pristine and just as pictured, with a beautiful view on the Nile river. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Our stay at this hotel was a tale of contrasts—one of breathtaking beauty intertwined with a series of unfortunate misadventures. The room itself was among the most exquisite we have ever stayed in, a sanctuary of quietness and comfort. Yet, the journey to and from this haven proved to be a test of patience and persistence (more than the usual in Egypt).
To make matters worse, the manager was entirely unresponsive, offering neither assistance in securing transportation nor guidance on how to reach the property. Be aware that this hotel is a bit out of town and most taxis just don't know where it is, and would refuse to go. If by chance you find a taxi, make sure you don't pay more than 500 EGP (one way). Until we arrived and saw it with our own eyes, we were half-convinced that the entire operation was a mirage and a scam (our taxi driver tried to call the owner, he answered and never called again).
Although Nour genuinely tried to be kind and make us feel comfortable, the initial miscommunication was frustrating, and the lack of response came across as highly unprofessional. Given the price we paid, we expected a certain level of service.
One evening, we chose to have dinner at the hotel, and while the meal was nice, we were shocked to be charged $20 per person—an unreasonable price considering what we had. When we expressed our frustration, the manager simply responded "Your price is my price." We took it word for word and ended up checking out earlier than planned, feeling uncomfortable.
We have stayed in many hostels and guesthouses across Egypt, and I believe we are very easy going and always accept a bit of challenge. Yet we never encountered issues like this—even in budget accommodations.
To conclude, this hotel has a MASSIVE potential, and staff were very friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable nestled in a quiet and pristine environment that offers a true escape from the bustling city.
- Noha (10/5): An outstanding stay with exceptional hospitality—I can’t wait to return! - We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! From the moment we arrived, Mina welcomed us warmly and made sure our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. He helped us with everything we needed and truly went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Exceptional service, great hospitality, and a lovely atmosphere—I highly recommend this hotel, and special thanks again to Mina for making our visit so memorable!
- Oceane (9/5): An exceptionally warm welcome in an idyllic location - would highly recommend! - The staff was exceptional! Friendly, welcoming and helpful at every levels.
The location was peaceful and quietly situated just outside of Luxor.
Excellent homemade Egyptian food for dinner was a real highlight too!
And overall the decor was homely and fun. Still a new hotel so patchy internet and no central system but we have found that it is often the case in Egypt even in bigger hotels.
- Georgios (9/5): Superb - Nile View

They were so nice kind and helpful. The place was clean, an amazing view on the nile and very calm.
Nour was really helpful and so nice, he helped us to explore the West side and even drove us to our bus station later on.
The food is really great, dinner is exceptional and one of the best food we ate during our whole trip.
Will be looking forward to come again and very grateful that I got the chance to meet such amazing people.
- Andre (10/5): Wonderful place to calm down after stressy tourist tours - after being in Assuan and Luxor... here is silence, the perfect spot to calm down and relax.
very friendly and always helpful staff.
River view with sailing ships in front outstanding... you will get a good view and being part of living athmosphere...
- Mels (8/5): A comfortable stay in a hotel with great potential - The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the location with the view on the Nile is amazing. Breakfast was included and very good, and the room was comfortable. Once the WiFi was set up by the hotel staff it worked nicely. Because the hotel recently opened it still has some points of improvement;
- The blinds let through a lot of light, and there is an opening above the door that let's through light so it's very difficult to make the room completely dark.
- Someone has to open the gate everytime you get back to the hotel, and because there is limited parking on the hotel properly you'll have to park outside of the gate
- It is somewhat difficult to find the hotel due to a lack of signs, and it is not on Google Maps yet.
The staff knows about these points and are very proactive in trying to improve the hotel, so I'm confident that this promising hotel will be better and better with every guest.
- Stephanie (10/5): Hidden Gem, A Must Stay in Luxor! - The staff exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond in regards to hospitality.
I genuinely had a wonderful time in Luxor because of them, I miss the dogs and the horse, which was a wonderful addition to my stay. In regards to my room, I don't think I could have picked a better place, the view of the Nile was breathtaking! the bathroom and bed were also just as beautiful.
I truly wish all the staff all the success in the world and will definitely return. The wifi connection at times was a bit iffy but was good to disconnect from the outside world, so I didn't mind.
- Michelle (10/5): This is an awesome place with great staff! - Spacious rooms and clean. The home cooked authentic dinners were delicious and lots of food! I loved it all.

- Janet (9/5): Fantastic holiday in Luxor! - Although it was a bit out of the way from Luxor centre it was great to come back and not have the noise from the centre. It was very peaceful and a beautiful location. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile. Sahra is such a wonderful cook and everything was cooked fresh everyday. There was so much of it and the evening meal was worth the money. Nour took us on a number of trips and he was very informative about Luxor and the surrounding area. He took us to local areas so we experienced the local culture and met local people. He and Sahra work very hard and always had time to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is a beautiful spot on the Nile and the staff were fantastic. The room was a little cold but it was cooler than normal in Egypt for this time of year.
- Yaren (10/5): Exceptional - Very peaceful and calm hotel,

The breakfast was very good, there was traditional servings and also regular alternative The hôtel is new so the location is not yet known from all taxis in Luxor
