• Guest (10/5): Great location, views, value for money - Ease of access to the location of the building. Great views. The construction started extremely early across the property, not a great way to start the morning. Trying to find the location of the key safe was difficult, had to get someone from reception to assist.

• Elizabeth (3/5): Bed was awful and wouldn’t recommend this property because of this. - Kitchen Facilities were good Location good Opposite a building site, noisy all day. Would have been good to have been told before I arrived. The bed is awful, exceptionally uncomfortable. The zip joining the two mattresses can be felt through the bottom sheet and mattress cover. The outside edge of the mattress could be felt through the cover and sheet. The mattress cover is very thin. The mattress is very uncomfortable , very hard to sleep on. Pillows were like bricks. Worst nights sleep I have had in a rented property.
• Tamahine (7/5): Generally good - Good location, clean and well maintained Sheets on bed not very good worn no fitted sheet on bottom so sheet slide off and only one sheet on top of doona nothing under doona No Ttowels to dry up with Communication about parking was not good number of parking spot not provided had to ring to find out were to park also information on keybox opening could have been better for example which line to line up numbers on also numbers had to be jiggled around to get it open Also would have liked to know there was construction site right in from on apartment noise started at 630 every morning couldnt have door open or use balcony during the day nothing can be done about that but would have liked to know that before I stayed there

• Deb (2/5): Total waste of $202 a night - Honestly the place was I'll equipped. No toilet paper, 1 set of stainless steel cutlery, 1 coffee mug, poor quality mattress and the dish washer could not work. Apparently it was low water supply. I had asked for toilet paper and cutlery but it never came. I brought a coffee cup myself. I would only stay there for the Gabba usage otherwise it is a complete waste of hard earned money. Very very disappointed. Sorry wrong way around. I liked the lady who resides there with her dog. Otherwise nothing at all

• Judith (5/5): Total lack of management support. - Location was great because we were going to the Gabba. Roof top bar fantastic but not open every day. Absolutely no contact with management.Rang contact number prior to arrival, did not call me back to arrange check in. The name of the place did not match the booking. Key box was extremely hard to find. Parking was very limited even though it was advertised on web site. Had to park in the street. Furniture was old and worn out. No kitchen or bathroom bin. Broken crockery. Only one cup. No information about local food/ restaurants. Didn’t know where to leave the key when we left, no reception.

• Paul (5/5): Expensive and uncomfortable - As we were going to a sporting event at the Gabba the location was great. The Restaurant, Sunsets on the roof of the building was fantastic. The cost was high, I can understand the event night but the second night's rate remained the same even though the advertised rate was a lot lower. Keys were in a lock box in a dark carpark/loading dock location. This is a residential unit block, we booked the room under Modern meet the Gabba, not one sign with Modern meet the Gabba, no reception, property manager doesn't answer the phone, not one person had ever heard of Modern meet the Gabba. Beds were timber slat with thin mattresses and soft pillows.

• Jenni (7/5): Good - There was no milk supplied but had a few coffee and tea bags. It was very sparse, such as no lights for reading near the bed. It is not suitable for long stay. The location was excellent.

Washing machine and dishwasher both had error codes so didn't work. No Bath in room as advertised. Staff were non existent and phone number on desk just went to message bank.

The promised seating area. Space to put a suitcase with a stand. Better lit area for the key safety box, the numbers are hard enough to read. Barbecue? Reading lights next to be bed. Less obtrusive display lights for kitchen appliances. More than 1 GPO to plug in chargers for phone, laptop, etc. Dining area / table listed in facilities.
• Anne (4/5): Very disappointing- would like to know why the room we were given didn’t match the description. - Handy for local restaurants, cafes and the river ferry. Great bar and restaurant on the roof and good pool for a dip. The room we were allocated did not meet the description on Booking.Com and I hope this is soon rectified so nobody else is misled with their booking. We have never stayed anywhere before that was so unlike its description. It did not have a King bed, terrace or outdoor seating area,no coffee maker, minibar, no dining area or table. No clothes drier and the balcony wasn’t big enough to put one on if there had been. The room was so small we had to store our cases in the kitchenette. We had booked for 5 nights and expected a spacious area we could eat and relax in. The safe didn’t work as the batteries were corroding. When we arrived the fridge was leaking water and the toilet seat was broken. There was only one bedside table and no lamps- the main light was either on or off with the switch by the door - very inconvenient in the night. We had to request another plate, mugs and a hairdryer. The staff were efficient in providing missing items but they should have been there at the start. Poorly equipped kitchenette. The manager visited to see the fridge and the safe and said the safe was never in use - this is a concern for international travellers with money, passports etc. She seemed surprised when I showed her the description of the room as if she hadn’t seen it before. We asked for a different room but there was none available. We could have cancelled and moved elsewhere but as it was the bank holiday weekend nothing was available. We were promised a slight refund which we are still waiting for. The property said this would have to come through Booking.Com ????

• Linda (10/5): Amazing place - Everything was so easy from finding the key to finding our car space. The view of the Gabba was amazing. The place was very clean and spacious, and it was so comfortable. We celebrated my sister's birthday at the rooftop bar, which was quite nice. And when I came back to the apartment, the room felt so cosy that I fell asleep instantly. I honestly didn't want to leave. Having said that we did end up leaving early in the morning because we missed our dog. I would definitely stay here again. Obviously this can't be helped because it's not the owners fault but you may hear traffic noise. I didn't hear it, but my husband did and it kept him up.

Swimming pool was wonderful especially during summer. Reasonable price. Staff was friendly, and everything was so well taken care of.
• William (5/5): Passable - Location TV does not go as there was no aerial cable, Only U tube via wifi link. Security safe does not operate due to corroded batteries that need replacing. Would be good to have some plastic garbage bags available as disposing of rubbish an issue without bags

• Zhao (10/5): A very enjoyable stay. - This place is very up to our expectation. Location is very good, just besides to the stadium and close to the Kangaroo Point look out. Room is clean and fresh, bathroom has washing machine and dryer easy to use. there is a big TV. We went to the pool and had dinner on the rooftop restaurant, very fabulous view. We just followed the instruction in the message they sent to us and check-in and check-out are easy and clear. A very good place to stay. Nil.

Keys were supposed to be in the lock box but on finding the box and opening it there were no keys to be had. It took a while to get the keys and actually get into the room.

• Zhao (10/5): Absolutely pleasant stay - We are very pleasant with our stay in this apartment! Our favourite thing is the location. We are able to walk to The Gabba stadium in just a few minutes and don't need to be stuck in the traffic. The apartment is in a quite modern building and we feel quite safe and comfortable within the stay. The communication with the staff is another highlight, they very fast-response and solve things quickly! We were asking if we could have extra bathing utilities in late time, they delivered in 20 minutes. We were a little worried that there won't be enough basic stuffs as a previous review states, but apparently they have improved it and topped things up. The room is clean and cozy, the bathroom is quite fancy and new compared with some other hotels we stayed before. The room's condition is good, and can see CBD view from the balcony. The swimming pool is amazing and not too crowded. Love the Sunset Bar on rooftop as well! We had dinner there for both nights and it is so convenient. We will definitely come back for next time. No - we are quite happy with everything :)
• Ray (6/5): Pleasant - The location was perfect for us attending an event at the Gabba. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the air conditioner was great and the fridge and microwave worked well. The apartment also had a washing machine and a dryer. The apartment was not stocked with the basic necessities required to be self reliant, there were no cups, toaster and very limited utensils. The safe was not functioning and only one of the chairs provided was able to be sat on.
