• Alan (1/5): Unfortunately this property was responsible for a failed Honeymoon celebration. - Actually I didn’t like anything about the property since I was wasn’t able to stay there. I booked almost 2 months in advance and arrived to find that my booking didn’t match the accommodation. At that point the owner became very argumentative and offered no solution to the issue. I was forced to stay elsewhere at a more expensive last minute accommodation and miss a night hike as a result. This encounter ruined my plan of a special Honeymoon celebration and became the only negative experience of a wonderful adventure to Costa Rica.

Forse servirebbe un indicazione all inizio dell ultima salita che porta alla struttura.Sicuramente non è economico .
• Sergio (3/5): - The staff is friendly and clearly tries to help. There is no real reception — all communication is done via messaging))) The glamping experience didn’t fully meet my expectations. One of the main downsides was the noise — there’s a diesel engine operating nearby for the zipline from early morning until evening, which makes it hard to enjoy the peaceful jungle atmosphere. During the day, the tent gets very hot as it heats up quickly under the sun, so it’s not really comfortable to relax inside. The hot water in the shower could also be warmer, though that’s a minor point. Overall, the place feels much more enjoyable in the evening, but during the day it’s quite challenging to stay comfortable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Wenn es stark regnet, ist es ziemlich laut. Aber das ist natürlich, schließlich ist man in einem großen Zelt.

• ashley (9/5): - Absolutely stunning location. The staff went above and beyond; our estimated arrival time kept getting pushed back and the staff were super understanding. Amazing to wake up and look out at a beautiful jungle. A few "to be aware" ofs. First, the road to get to the parking is a bit steep/bumpy, so ensure you have a solid SUV and feel comfortable driving. Second, because of the material of the accommodation, the noise of the rain is really amplified, which may not be ideal if you're a really light sleeper.

A 2km des supers tyroliennes (10min en voiture la route est en mauvais état). Le rapport qualité/prix n est pas très bon. Les tentes sont proches des télécabines, à 06h le matin le bruit commence. Il pleut beaucoup dans la région et le bruit de la pluie et du vent sur les tentes rendent la nuit compliquée même avec des boules quies.

Die Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich und sehr naturverbunden, perfekt für alle, die mal etwas anderes als ein klassisches Hotel erleben möchten. Die Zelte sind modern gestaltet, gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man merkt, dass sich jemand Gedanken gemacht hat. Der Service war sowohl vor als auch während unseres Aufenthalts wirklich sehr gut – schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation, hilfsbereites Personal und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Auch die Ausstattung der Zelte ist im Großen und Ganzen überzeugend, auch wenn hier und da Kleinigkeiten nicht ganz rund waren. Was uns allerdings etwas gestört hat, war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Erfahrung war zwar besonders und schön, wir fanden den Aufenthalt insgesamt jedoch recht teuer für das, was man am Ende bekommt. Trotzdem eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle, die ein modernes Glamping-Erlebnis in der Natur suchen – mit der Einschränkung, dass man bereit sein sollte, dafür entsprechend tief in die Tasche zu greifen.

• Christiaan (9/5): Quiet stay in the middle of the forest - We slept in the middle of the forest. The place is very peaceful, quiet and the staff were very kind and helpful during our stay. It was a bit out of town and we had to drive to get dinner in the evening. The road is a bit bumpy. During the night it was a bit chilly, with extra blankets we kept warm.

Very helping staff. - The location was hard to find but Javier and Roger were available over call and whatsapp all the time to make sure we have everything we need from finding location to booking tours and reserve spots for activities. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Javier instructed us very well what to do and not to do. wifi was good. We spent 1 night. I wish i had more time to stay in the room. I wish the roads were more friendly to us and our cars

• Ghita (7/5): - We really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts, who assisted us in booking activities and shared many useful tips to make the most of our trip. The bathroom and kitchen are new and modern, and the bed is very comfortable. The room is equipped with a dehumidifier, heating, and air conditioning. Seeing animals walk in front of the bubble from time to time was a wonderful experience and made us feel fully immersed in the jungle. However, we would have appreciated more kitchen equipment (such as a hot plate or an oven), as it is otherwise difficult to prepare meals, especially for breakfast. There was also quite a lot of humidity despite the systems in place to reduce it.

• Jennifer (8/5): Fun in the forest! - Javier, who met us at the property was incredibly helpful. It was a fun experience, though we didn’t see much wildlife from the dome. The dome was very well provided with drinks in the fridge, plenty of tea and coffee and some snacks and cereals for breakfast. The rain was quite loud during the night but Javier had provided earplugs - and it gave us the full cloud forest experience!

• Glen (8/5): The domes provide a very dramatic and comfortable connection with the cloud forest. - The Domes were fantastic. Very comfortable with wonderful views of the cloud forest. Even a Zip Line passing overhead. One of the highest accommodations in the region, so it really amplifies your cloud forest experience. Finding it is tricky. No signage, you have to trust your navigation. Upon arriving in the parking lot, it seems as nothing is there, and you have to take a bit of a leap of faith that your in the right place. It's a bit of a hike in with your luggage to your dome. During our visit is was about 16C, so on the cool side. The tiny heater in our dome didn't seem be quite up to it. Extra snuggling required. Your'e an extra couple of minutes down a windy mountain road to get to restaurants in the village(s) down below.
• Zoe (9/5): The ultimate nature & novelty combo - Such a beautiful spot with a real sense of novelty and fun. The tent was cleaner than most hotels and came with plenty of comforts including a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The hosts were incredibly helpful and also shared great tips about Monteverde. We even had a coati wander onto the balcony on our last morning. Ear plugs are worth bringing. The sound of the rain is peaceful at first but can become very loud during the night. Overall it is a memorable place to stay and well worth it! Highly recommend :) The only drawback is that the tent walls can fog up which affects visibility. The dehumidifier they provide does help reduce this.

• Vivian Tiana (6/5): Passabel aber nicht so besonders, wie wir dachten - Interessante Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung ist super, es gibt genügend Handtücher, Duschgel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Küchenutensilien etc. Abgelegen. Wir waren eine Nacht alleine da und das Licht ist draußen ausgefallen - das war etwas gruselig. Man hat leider keine schöne Aussicht, wie wir dachten. Es ist sehr feucht in Monteverde, das merkt man besonders im Zelt. Alle Sachen waren feucht. Zum Glück gab es eine Mini-Heizung und einen Entfeuchter. Wenn es regnet, ist es extrem laut im Zelt. Es kam teilweise etwas Regen ins Zelt, wodurch unsere Handtücher etwas nass waren.

Het zou handig zijn om een signing aan te brengen, het laatste stukje route is erg stijl en een 4x4 is aanbevolen. Geloof Waze, je moet echt daar naar boven 😀

They went out of their way to make us feel very special - it was my boyfriend's birthday and they decorated the room to help me surprise him. The tent is spacious, the bed comfortable and humongous and everything you need to make a quick meal if needed. You are surrounded by the forest and you fall asleep to the sound of the forest, wind and rain. We didn't see any animals except a couple of spiders but you hear the birds in trees the moment the sun goes up.

Lovely thoughtful touches such as complimentary tea, coffee, cold drinks, snacks and toiletries. Spotlessly clean (cleaned daily), comfy bed, soft sheets, heater, dehumidifier, air conditioning and extra duvet all there if you need them, very modern bathroom (water pressure not always great but that’s to be expected) and the best view when you wake up! We arrived late in the evening, and the owner kindly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full tour of the property. To our surprise, he had prepared coffee, tea, fruit, snacks, and drinks to welcome us—such a thoughtful gesture that immediately made us feel at home. When we woke up the next morning, we were absolutely blown away by the view. Nestled in the heart of the cloud forest, the setting is nothing short of magical. The place itself is spotless, with an incredibly comfortable bed and soft bedding. Extra blankets were also available, which was a nice touch for the cooler nights. It’s super close to Monteverde town and all the major attractions and activities in the area. Don’t overthink it—just book! You won’t regret it.

• Mirjana (10/5): A magical experience with a dancing forest at the Clamping House - I only came for one night and it was worth it! Javier welcomed me warmly and showed me the way to the glamping house. The first impression was wow🤩 The path through the forest leads right to my entrance, next to it is a stream with orange fish. Everything is tastefully decorated, everything you need is there, even extras. There was a small clothes dryer and it worked perfectly, as did the hair dryer. The air conditioning worked, there was hot water, an extra blanket for the night. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets. I felt comfortable sleeping there alone. The path through the forest was lit and looked romantic. And a special experience was the night view of the dancing forest, it was magical. Coffee, tea and juices were offered, and even snacks. The people who work there are very helpful and kind. In the morning I was greeted by Pizote (Coati)🥰 I left this camp very grateful and satisfied🙏🏽 I recommend it wholeheartedly it’s a unique experience💫
• Falkenberg (9/5): Beautiful experience - Beautiful place and very special stay. Staff are super nice. Privacy could be a tiny bit improved, but generally very good. Quite expensive, but worth it in the context of Monteverde. Inclusion of dehumidifier, heater, and multiple blankets was appreciated
• Michael (9/5): "Camping" in luxury! - Our first experience with glamping. It was unique for us and great fun sleeping in a "tent" with air conditioning, kitchen, beautiful bathroom. We were really roughing it! Javier gave us a very thorough tour/instructions regarding the facilities. Clarity about check-in prior to arrival. There is really no signage although our host did send us specific coordinates for our GPS.

• Richard (9/5): Wonderful staff, and a memorable experience. - Javier, the owner, and his staff were the best, most attentive hosts we have had in a long time - delightful people. Were incredibly helpful. Location was very close to the entrance to the Selvatura park. The road to get there was difficult. It is also true, however, that essentially all of the roads outside of the immediate downtown area are in the same condition.
• Natalia (10/5): Exceptional - This place is just magical! Javier and his wife made our stay special with their attention to the details. The room has EVERYTHING you may need. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the bathroom is clean, the design in general is very thoughtful and stylish. Very nice touch with amenities (we loved the wine and apples!). As someone else mentioned earlier - I wish we stayed longer. Would definitely want to come back for at leasr 2-3 nights and highly recomend to ALL my friends! It's hard to find the Glamping. Thanks to previous reviews, we were aware there are basically no signs.
• Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything you needed. Javi was so helpful throughout our stay and the accomodation was cleaned everyday for when we returned. They all went above and beyond! I couldn’t rate it enough. We didn’t have a car so was slightly more challenging to get into Santa Ellana and around. Javi sorted taxis for us though and were reasonably priced. Bring sensible shoes and a waterproof as weather is unpredictable in the mountains!

• Dario (8/5): Extremely kind and helpful stuff, but the experience in the honeymoon tent was not worth the money. - The property is in a fantastic location literally in the middle of the forest. The host were extremely kind helpful and welcoming. Due to rain - which happens quite regularly in Monteverde - we could not really appreciate anything about the outside view. Also and most importantly, the “sphere” is totally plastic made and acts as a drum for falling rain . It was almost impossible to sleep all night as the noise of falling rain was almost unbearable. There was minimal to no hot water for showering. Last, there is no heating but a small portable electric stove - it was cold for us.

• Pam (8/5): If you are deciding to Glamp this is the place! Don’t hesitate. They offer good YIFI, heat, A/C, and dehumidifier. I - We loved Glamping. It was our first time and this place is a 5 star for Glamping! We enjoyed the rain on the canvas each night and slept soundly in the comfy bed. The property is in the jungle and that is so nice- other glamping places we saw are out in the open. They need signs please. A sign is needed at the junction where you turn towards the Salvatore Adventure Park. Then another sign please at the very sharp right hand turn into the property. Otherwise they need to advertise that they are so many meters from the Salvatore Park because Salvatore has great signs. In the parking lot there is 1 tiny sign. Way to Heaven Glamping is better than that!
• Saumil (10/5): Luxurious camping experience in a beautiful location - The location is excellent. The accommodation itself is comfortable with many more amenities than is right to expect in camping. Nothing.
• Jack (10/5): The name of the accommodation says it all - The most amazing setting with not a single fault to mention from the moment you arrive to a warm welcome to the amazing open tent to view the rainforest !! And the comfort or the bed was amazing
• Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location and very friendly host. Very well equipped and comfortable despite being a "tent". Excellent bed, amazing view, tranquil and quiet. Very clean, especially considering the setting. It could get a bit cold at night, so bring warm clothing. Road to get there is not great, but even if you don't have a 4x4 SUV it is still absolutely doable. The kitchen is not suited for cooking, but tableware is available.

Ernesto from the hotel did an amazing job as concierge via whatsapp to help me organize trips before I even arrived. More importantly, the tent is an amazing experience, being in the middle of the canopy while enjoying all the comforts one can wish for

Waking up with that view is awesome. Although it’s glamping, you may still face some common camping issues such as condensation/ humidity
