- Ian (5/5): The apartment flattered to deceive and in light of all of the above is, in my opinion, overpriced. - No breakfast provided. For our purposes the location was very good. On entering the property there was an extremely strong unpleasant smell in the master bedroom. So strong and unpleasant the bedroom couldn’t be used. The smell came from the toilet bowl area and the drain in the en-suite wash basin. After 24 hours the smell was no longer there. By that time the toilet, wash basin and shower had all been used and my feeling is that the smell came as a result of standing water in what is essentially a basement flat. That should have been picked up by whoever prepared the flat for our entry.
The carpet gripper across the door in to the master bedroom was loose, exposing the metal spikes on the gripper to foot contact. On the passage and steps up to the back door one of the handrails had come away from the wall and had been placed in a corner. A wooden stair tread was missing from one of the stair edges. It was found to be behind the washing machine in the cupboard.
These were obviously not recent occurrences and should all have been fixed before our entry.
The tumble dryer sitting in open space in the kitchen/living area detracted from the appearance of what is the focal point of the living area.
We complained about the REALLY, REALLY poor wifi. Someone came to look at it but little improvement followed. I was then contacted to say that a new router had been delivered and could I collect it from the reception area of the building and follow the instructions to instal it. It wasn’t there and when I reported the fact I was told that it had been delivered to the building next door (which presumably also had a security controlled entry system), could I go and collect it. I declined!
The “terraces” are in fact like outdoor underground corridors a metre plus wide and hemmed in by steep walls which are shoring up the ground between the upper and lower ground floors of the building. To describe them as terraces is an overstatement.

Quiet neighbourhood, easy access to public transport buses & trains. 5 minutes to shops Front door lock was difficult to action

- Sam (6/5): Should have been amazing - disappointed by service/support. - The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished, and in a great location! The host did not send check-in information until after I arrived, so I could not access the property, then misinformed me about parking, resulting in me having to pay for parking. There is no mobile phone reception in the apartment as it is lower ground floor - this would not have been a problem had the internet been functioning. Unfortunately, the published wifi was unplugged when we arrived and could not be connected. We eventually connected to a poor network with erratic connection. Host did not respond adequately to any of our requests for support. Ruined a potentially lovely stay in a well appointed and located property.
