• Carolyn (10/5): delightful - Host Zanette is genuinely warm & friendly & willing to share lots of local knowledge to make your stay as enjoyable, comfortable & memorable as possible, offering lots of ideas on how to navigate the public transport system, having a pushbike to use is priceless for enjoying the beautiful scenery & cruising along the promenade down to numerous beautiful beaches & picnic spots. The well-equipped kitchen, bathroom & laundry facilities have everything necessary to make your stay feel homely & effortlessly pampered. The private garden with its table & comfortable seating really is tranquil & relaxing amongst the tall palms, lush foliage & local birdlife. This was a truly delightful abode to spend time & l would definitely love to stay again. Thank you leaving.....

Extremely small point of note, not a negative but it's important to know there's no air con. Fans supplied did the trick but if AC life is for you then it needs to be considered.

• Burgin (10/5): A great base for your stay in Point Vernon/Hervey Bay - The apartment was so well equipped with cooking facilities, a washing machine, a lovely comfy bed and modern furnishings. The host Zanette made us feel so welcome and she communicated so much useful information to us, like local walks, restaurant recommendations, supermarkets, etc. She also provides so many essentials which was greatly appreciated. We loved spending the week exploring Hervey Bay with this as our base. We used the on demand bus to get to town on a daily basis- it’s easy to use and only 50c per ride!

• Laws (9/5): Amazing little studio - Amazing little stay! Perfect studio for a couple, bed is comfy, and very good amenities - kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more! No aircon, but fans were still good!
• Martin Hermann (10/5): Very much recommended! 👍 - The "Tranquility by the Bay" accommodation features a large room — or rather, a charming little Apartment — decorated with great care and taste by the landlady. You open the door and immediately feel at home. The charming landlady (Zanette), despite being busy in the kitchen preparing Christmas dinner, gave us an extremely warm welcome and took the time to offer us some tips and recommendations for possible sightseeing destinations for the following day. In short: This is the place to book if you're lucky enough that it's still available! Note: Google may still incorrectly mark the accommodation as "Permanently closed," but this is not the case!

• Sarah (10/5): One of the best places I’ve stayed at so far - This place is a true hidden gem! The apartment was even more beautiful than in the pictures. I felt so comfortable and the bed was exceptional. You had everything you could wish for, a nice little garden with outside seating, a fully equipped kitchen (even with air fryer), basic ingredients, TV, washing machine etc. I had the best time staying there. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The host is such a lovely lady too! She left me some food at the place and even drove me to the bus station.

• Johannes (10/5): Amazing with so many tasteful items that I can really say that it truely is TRANQUIL in every sence. - Absolutely Excellent - We really loved the owner and we had the most exquisite stay. It was probably the best B&B I have stayed at in 30 years. It was tastefully decorated with lots of features that you will not find in a hotel. It is really really tranquil and we loved to sit outside the room and enjoy the bird songs, the well placed plants in the garden and the serenity that it offered. We relaxed so much and will go back again and again. We loved absolutely everything. If anyone complains then they do not know what other places offers. This is one of those B&B's that offers a taste for everyone and it is really setup to relax and just enjoy a good rest.

As well as TV, washing machine,cooking facilities, microwave there was tea, coffee, juice, bread, and toppings supplied. The host was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed.

• Ferdinand (8/5): Tolles Apartment - Sehr groß, sehr gut ausgestattet, nur wenige hundert Meter vom Strand entfernt! Unkomplizierter Check-in und Kommunikation. Die Unterkunft war prima. Zu den nächsten Restaurants braucht man einige Minuten mit dem Auto, die Unterkunft liegt in einem Wohngebiet.

• Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Loved everything, supercleaned, well presented, and the apartment had everything I or a couple would need. The washing machine was a bonus. Small private courtyard. Bread, butter , and refreshments for brekky. Easy check in and good communication via Bookings. Com . I got there in the dark and it was raining so struggled to find the house and side gate entrance. But I had a head touch which helped. This is not a fault on the accommodation though.

When I arrived, I was greeted and everything was explained including great suggestions for places to visit while I was there. Every like thing was thought out for guests. I was only there an hour and I was planning my next visit to stay here. I felt like a family member visiting and not just a guest. The photos on booking.com are 100% what you get (including a lovely little private area outside to sit and read) I can’t think of anything I would have needed or anything else to suggest. It was perfect.

Totally recommend Tranquility by the Bay - It was comfortable, well equipped and beautifully accessorised. A peaceful spot to listen to the birds with a quiet cup of tea. Being a little way from the hustle of downtown Hervey Bay it was the perfect base to unwind and enjoy walks along the peninsula.
