• Jenny (8/5): Good location, homey vibes - Convenient location and very nice neighborhood. Good decoration taste. Homey and cosy. It must be a wonder in spring/summertime. Bed mattress was hard, cleanliness wasn’t as high as I expected (though still okay), and the small heating device was not enough to warm up the whole place so I was cold.

• Sook (9/5): Lovely cosy unit - Cosy home in a local neighbourhood, clean and neat. Conveniently located to the shopping belt 淮海中路 and 10 minute walk to 淮海中路station, exit 1. There are quite many eateries and restaurants, mini marts near the unit. As we are not used to using their air-conditioning system, which also equipped with heating function, the level one of the unit was too cold to bear. The owner responded to our feedback and arranged a portable heater in 3 hours. The shower curtain deemed too long, and we had a bit of challenge handling it to ensure the water didn't spill out of the curb.

• Kimi (10/5): Fantastic apartment in lovely historic French quarter - This apartment is fabulous - located in the heart of the old French quarter, it is in a character-filled ‘lilong’ historical complex just behind Huahai Road and very close to Fangxi Gardens. There are lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance, and Middle Huahai Road metro station is just a short walk away. The TianziFang shopping district is also about a 20 minute walk away. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything we needed for our family’s 6 day stay in Shanghai. The host was very helpful and responsive and gave us extra help when needed. To pay for the property you need to transfer funds and a safety deposit by AliPay or PayPal when you book. Our deposit was refunded promptly after our departure. Nothing - it was fabulous.

Easy access and communication (through WeChat) Small but fully equipped and confortable Nothing the host can do anything about but what visitors should know: Wifi in Shanghai is restricted (no access to Google, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, ...) and 2 VPN's I installed did not work there. Metro is a bit far away to walk with suitcases but taxis are cheap ...

• Yasmin (9/5): It was wonderful - It is in the Heritage area, so you can see the tradisional fashioned building. The facilies all complete for group of people. We wish, we can stay more nights there. The unfortunate thing is just maybe a manual instruction to use some of the facilities that the guest not really familiar with.
