• Bailey (6/5): Only booked for a 1 night layover. You pay for what you get. - Staff was nice and helpful. Good location in city. Small rooms as expected. The way in on the ground floor felt quite unsafe and a little confusing, I wouldn’t stop and talk to anyone.
• Mtro. Hugo (4/5): - Que está céntrico y tiene lo necesario. The room meets the basics considering you’re in Hong Kong: it’s small, but functional. It has hot water, air conditioning, and the essentials for a short stay. However, the experience was seriously affected by a constant cleanliness issue. During the four days we stayed, we saw at least two cockroaches per day. The situation became especially uncomfortable on the last night when we found a small cockroach on the bed. After long days of exploring, the least you expect is to come back and rest comfortably, and this made that very difficult. I had read previous reviews mentioning this issue, but I didn’t think it would be this frequent. It’s extremely important that the property invests in proper pest control and improves its cleaning standards. Without that, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

• Christine (8/5): Clean, cozy stay and near tourist attractions - Location was superb as it is near Avenue of the Stars, Victoria Harbour if you will watch Symphony of Light at night. There are souvenir shops downstairs and lots of food options. K11 mall is also walking distance if you want higher quality food like Ichiran Ramen or Tim Ho Wan. Bus stops are everywhere and you can take 1 bus A21 or A25 to airport. MRT station is also a minute away. All are walkable. The room was clean with basic amenities. Aircon was working well and beddings were decent. There is a water heated in the shower. Shower gel smells fragrant with powdery floral scent. There is free water outside where you can refill your bottle in the water dispenser. You can ask for clean towels and they shall provide for you. Owner and helper are accomodating and friendly. Room was well secured with automatic lock at main door and lock and key in your own room. You can self check out. The location is within Chungking Mansions. There are lots of hostels and guest houses in the building and be aware of the foot traffic and congestion in elevator. Owner suggested a cleaner room but with extra fee which we agreed on. I guess for HK standard, the room size is acceptable but for a tourist it is very tiny. It is about 3 sq meter size so keep your expectations low. Good for backpackers and max of 2 people only. Water heater can be too hot so be careful and recheck temperature before using the shower. No water kettle for coffee but you can buy coffee downstairs at shops.
• Denise (6/5): Posizione ideale - La posizione è perfetta, vicino a Victoria Harbour, alla metro, all'autobus. La stanza era pulita. Il prezzo, per essere a Hong Kong, molto basso. La stanza e il bagno sono piccolissimi, ma per dormire un paio di notti vanno benissimo. Per entrare bisogna passare attraverso un mercato notturno un po' labirintico e bisogna fare la fila per prendere l'ascensore, ma non è stato un grande problema.

• Eszter (7/5): It's good value for money in Hong Kong. - The location is really central, we enjoyed that. The room was very very small, but I think that's a hong kong thing. We had to ask for a room with windows, otherwise we would have gotten one with no windows. The building itself is kind of sketchy, it seems that a lot of shady business going on there. That being said, we had no problem during our stay, we felt safe most of the times.

• Mirco (7/5): A questo prezzo difficile trovare di meglio a quanto ho visto. Per me che bastava solo un letto per dormirci tre notti è - Posizione perfetta a 50 metri della MTR. Accoglienza e disponibilità della ragazza alla reception. Struttura decisamente vecchiotta e spazi risicati.

• Lughaidh (10/5): Overall a very positive stay at maple leaf guest house. We would happily return to see more of Hong Kong. - The location was terrific. Lots to do nearby with great access to public transport. The staff were very accomodating and the beds were comfortable. Noise carries quite a lot in the property which wasn’t a problem until the last night when other guests were making a bit of noise. Otherwise everything was good.

• Loana (6/5): - Mitarbeiter super freundlich. Haben uns aufgrund unserer Rucksäcke ein größeres Zimmer gegeben (das trotzdem klein war, aber besser als das gebuchte). Kostenlose Aufbewahrung unserer Rucksäcke. Sauberkeit war okay. Schrecklich Gegend, haben uns sehr unwohl und dreckig da gefühlt; man kam an in einem riesigen Markt voller Menschen, die ein alle angesprochen haben und einem irgendwas aufdrängen wollten. Die Unterkunft an sich war super klein, ein Bett und gerade mal zwei Personen haben reingepasst. Wir sind Backpacker und hatten Probleme unsere Rucksäcke in den Zimmer unterzubekommen.

• Rimantas (10/5): - Great hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel is clean and well maintained, with fresh white bed linen. The administrator is very caring, kind, and helpful. The location is excellent for travelers – there are many nearby food places where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast or dinner. The promenade is also close by, perfect for a walk. A big advantage is the A21 bus stop nearby, which takes you directly to the airport for only HKD 35. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

• Mallari (10/5): Superb and value for money. - The location is superb and the staff are very accommodating of our requests. I came with 2 seniors so we need a room near to the toilet and lift. Highly recommended for budget travelers. Near bus, mrt, food, shopping centres, parks. There is a bus stop going to airport. We didn’t find the reception so we got lost for awhile but the stores downstairs guided us.

• Joana (10/5): It's OKAY stay... ❤️ - Near to everything we need.. especially with MTR station TST... and best part is we always get INDIAN FOOD so we dont have the problem of the smell in the first floor.. were quite cowboy and not so maarte about other people who usually complain about that stuff😉 at kung namimiss nio ang pinoy food, ur in a perfect place lalo na kung gusto nio ang budget meal food.. Just the guys in the 1st floor who always asking if we have rooms.. but their harmless... were okay about it..

The entrance on the lower ground will boggle your mind, because it’s a world on its own, however people are extremely friendly and helpful towards tourist, initially the owner wanted to charge me an additional fee to check in early despite my request, also I book for 5 days and 1 day separately, she tried really hard to convince me to upgrade and I kind lost because I paid for a bigger room for the 1 day and never got to stay in it. Other than that they have all certification, they have everything you need, and the receptionist is quite helpful.

Might still be worth it. - • Perfect location • Great shower pressure • Excellent value for money • Comfortably firm mattress (I like it on the harder side) • Staying in Chungking Mansions wasn’t an issue - if anything, it added to the experience. Just expect a few people offering to sell things on the ground floor between the entrance and the elevators • AC worked well • Ceiling fan was useful for circulating air • Nice-smelling soap • Check-in was rough: even though I informed the property about my late arrival (flight landing time + message saying I’ll arrive in ~45 min), and agreed to the late check-in fee (they said 150 HKD), we still waited about 35 minutes outside • I messaged when I arrived and tried calling the provided number many times, with no response • I was about to leave (Chungking Mansions has plenty of other options so I wasn’t worried), and by chance a staff member saw us and let us in • The lady I met was nice, but when I politely asked if the late check-in fee could be waived because of the long wait, the boss on the phone got defensive instead of apologizing. I ended up calming her down and agreeing to pay to avoid trouble. She lowered it to 100 HKD • Towels were clean but low quality: one had holes, the other smelled strongly of chemicals • One day the toilet flush didn’t work (building maintenance). The fix took longer than stated and the property didn’t notify us directly, we only saw a notice in the lift • Only one slow elevator and it stops on many floors (not their fault, but expect delays getting to the 12th floor) • We stayed 6 days and still got a windowless room. It would have been considerate to give longer-stay guests a room with a window • Biggest issue by far: noise. You can hear a lot, and it’s enough to keep you up • There were repeated small noises (at times like a ball bouncing against a wall for a long stretch) • Worst of all: around 8:20 AM a very loud “helicopter-like” whirring starts for about 10 minutes, stops, then starts again. It felt like sleeping next to a helipad, and for me this wasn’t acceptable at any price

• PAULO (6/5): O que não tem contam na busca online de reserva - Localização boa, embora andando por lá vimos opções melhores de estadia na mesma Localização. Vindo do aeroporto pegue o ônibus A21 e na volta o mesmo A21 porém, este , pegu0e do outro lado da avenida Nathan Road Fica num prédio muito, muito antigo com instalações velhas de elevador e o pior de tudo é que vc tem que atravessar um beco na parte térrea do prédio sujo e com muitos indianos mal encarados e suspeitos. Se vier em família ou mulher eu não recomendo. É uma pena pois o atendimento é muito simpático! Mas te ho que ser sincero como gostaria que tivessem sido comigo antes

Tek valiz açık olup diğer valiz yatağın altına itilebilir. Tek kötü yani tuvaletten gelen kötü koku, buna mutlaka bir çözüm bulunması gerekiyor.

• Martin (8/5): - The room was really small but it was enough for me as I was alone. The room was clean and well equiped. It was harder to find the entrance in the busy ground floor with lot of Indians offering all kind of stuff.

• Stefan (8/5): Nice hotel with friendly staff in a great location - The hotel is good value for money. The staff is happy to help and were friendly. The location is also nice, with metro and bus stations nearby. The hotel is simple but effective, and had everything we need. The major Kowloon park and a lot of (luxury) shopping are nearby too, so plenty of activities around. The ground floor of the hotel has some sketchy people and shops. If you don't pay attention to them and just keep your pace to your room then it's fine and nothing to worry about. We even had great breakfast somewhere there. Also the hotel itself already said something about this. There are plenty of other travelers and normal people etc around so it is not very bad or anything, but something to keep in mind if you are solo. The surroundings of the building are completely fine too.

Connessione wifi ok Una stanza era grande di 3x3m, per due persone. Più che una stanza era una trappola. Per entrare nella Guest House si doveva passare per una strada buia e puzzolente, un mercato sotterraneo, dove le condizione igieniche erano pericolose.
