- Marwa (8/5): too remote to fetch for less noise and high waves open current. - upgraded room was spacious, in house restaurant food is good. great for those who seek no noise. pleasant reception personnel. beach has high waves unlike most marsa matrouh and grawla area beaches who have white sandy beaches and transparent clam sea waves. which meant i went all the way from and to Cairo for 800km (8hour drive) to end up with no transparent water beach as reviews and pictures indicated; to find out that the resort has no other activities but the sea and the pool and 1 restaurant with periods for dining in. So, i had to make day visits to Safir hotel and day use there for a better beach. which meant another long distance drive. the entire beach experience is not what I expected. also my worries on changing the means of payment upon arrival of not informing the booking and thus wining the rewards was not met with a mere email.

- Shams (7/5): Mr Magdy - Mr. Magdy was Cooperative with a high level of ethics and efficiency and very quick to meet my requests around the clock. The location is distinguished by its quietness and privacy regardless of the flies and mosquitoes. The swimming pool is good but needs to be cleaned regularly due to flying insects. The restaurant is incomplete but the staff and chef are very cooperative. The supermarket has excellent prices and almost all needs are available. I hope that the renovation works will be completed gradually and a shaded parking lot will be provided next to the reception. Thank you very much, sir. - Geo (6/5): Nice quiet vlean chalet for small families but not more - Chalet was clean and spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 child would not fit much for 3 adults. Very quiet surround and very nice for a small family. Breakfast was satisfying open buffet at the restaurant at the beach. Beach was nice. Not far at all from city center 20 km almost by car. The beach is very far from the room and needs a car to go there. Half board would be mich better than b and b. No facilities in the area. If you are staying for long time you will need to call for room service when you need them nothing daily like hotels. Overall not like an hotel it is a chalet.

We loved the food at the restaurant whether at the breakfast or dinner and the seating area upstairs is great. Plus the resort wasn't crowded. Also there is a supermarket that has the needed essentials. The rooms need upgrade, for such price I was expecting better rooms.

- Nada (9/5): Would totally recommend for other to stay and enjoy their summer. - I recently stayed at this hotel and was beyond impressed with the staff, rooms, beach, and food! Basically everything met my standards and exceeded. The rooms are clean, the beach is private and the food is good (make sure too book with breakfast). Also big shout out to the staff as everyone was super helpful and friendly. And special thank you to Mr. Ramy; the general manager who accommodated us the entire stay. I will definitely be staying here next summer. Nothing I particularly didn’t like, but I would recommend for there to be beach activities like banana boat, jet ski, or parachute for a more entertaining stay!
- Sally (5/5): Overrated and too expensive for this quality. First and last time for me to visit Santa Monica. - The staff is kind but need to be trained. The beach was the best thing during our stay. On the first day we went to the beach and enjoyed it. On the second and third day the sea was full of coral reefs, the workers were trying to remove them but they were a lot. The beach is about 400 meters away from the chalets. where you also find the restaurant. You have to go to the beach to have your breakfast. It is not a hotel, it is just a place where you can rent a chalet. The breakfast was average, not like on the photos. The fruits were the cheapest fruits, not at all like the photos. We had to pay for the water, they do not offer water for breakfast. I expected a better quality. Santa Monica is a place for people who like to spend time without any disturbance. No activities at all there. No restaurants except the one of Santa Monica, the food is average. The nearest place is Marsa Matrouh, 20 km far away from Santa Monica. The place is too much overrated with the 8.4, I believed the photos and the rate and booked but was not happy with what I found. I expected a room like the photos, this was not the case, maybe the same furniture but not that clean. The minibar looked terrible and I asked the room service to change it and they changed it immediately.
