• Hayley (8/5): Looking spacious villa with a great size pool and outdoor space. Unfortunately beds are very hard otherwise a great vill - Location, pool Beds were very hard
• Stephen (8/5): Excellent villa, location and resort for a peaceful family break - The Villa was in a great location. Spacious, well maintained and had all the facilities we needed for a family group of 5. We paid extra for pool heating, which given the excellent hot weather was perhaps not necessary, but made it a more comfortable temp. We also booked a Late Checkout which was a great option as we had a 17.00 flight. A relatively new Superdino shop was 2 roads down from the villa and had everything we needed. Adjacent to it was Claras Bistro, which provided excellent food and drink options if we didn't fancy walking down to the marina. We have been coming to the island since the early 90's, but had never stayed for more than a couple of hours in Puerto Calero. We found it quiet and peaceful with a security vehicle 'doing the rounds' at all times of day which was reassuring. Overall, we wilI be back to P Calero and prefer it to the busier resorts. It has a nice chilled vibe and was well kept with no litter or other general debris on the streets. When we come to Lanza in the cooler months (Dec - March) we usually book a villa with a Hot Tub option. So, maybe something to consider as an upgrade.
• Emily Brown (10/5): Fantastic Stay in a Beautiful Villa in Puerto Calero! - We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house in Puerto Calero. The villa is spacious, stylish, and very well equipped; perfect for families or a group of friends. With three comfortable bedrooms, we had plenty of space to relax and feel at home. The private pool was a highlight of our trip; clean, quiet, and perfect for cooling off during the sunny afternoons. We also loved the terrace area, ideal for sunbathing, outdoor meals, or just enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars. Puerto Calero is a great location; quiet, upscale, and just a short walk from the marina, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, and a beautiful promenade. It’s also a great base for exploring the island. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt relaxed, welcomed, and completely at ease. Highly recommended! We’d love to come back!

• Dean (5/5): Nice break but too many problems, have used many villas in area over the years but never experienced as many problems - Good size villa and pool, nice location Rear kitchen door struggling to close- needs replacement- had a loss of electric for about 10hrs- which also caused pool heating to go off. Plus a pipe split at rear of villa (irrigation system I think) was repaired next day but meant I had to turn water off for whole villa overnight - eventually repaired by noon next day Also neighbouring villa had workmen there most days with pneumatic drills taking up patio- appreciate this is a one off & not controllable by booking.com but was loud & spoilt the peace significantly
• Martin (7/5): Satisfactory - Lanzarote Vacation Homes did not provide details of access until after arriving and reqired more than one telephone call, despite having completed their online check-in some days before. The electronic key lock on the door required a further telephone call to understand how it worked - you have to "wake it up" first. Fortunately we were familiar with Puerto Calero but there was no information in the villa about any facilities or even a map. Although the villa can sleep six people there were not six of the same style of plates or glasses. For the first time in over twenty years of staying in villas on Lanzarote nobody visited to see how we were getting on. A pity.

• George (8/5): We had a really good time and the response from your staff was excellent. - The location was ok but we would have preferred a sea view in a non residential area. Dog barking was constant throughout the 5 days, Wifi access and TV issues.

• Tyron (9/5): We’ll be back! - Location was quiet and approx 600m from the marina but it a up hill walk to get back. The marina had lovely restaurants, bars, shops and a small supermarket. The villa was very roomy with a great pool and plenty of outdoor space. The supermarket was too small to get everything you need for a week of self catering. We walked into Puerto del Carmen to stock up and got a taxi back which was only 8 Euros one way

• Colette (10/5): Fantastic stay at beautiful villa - Villa was ideal for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Each bedroom was of good size all with ensuits. Fully equipped kitchen with new kitchen dishes, pots and cutlery. Nice touch of leaving bottles of water, washing up liquid, binbags, dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs. There was plenty of hot water, beautiful heated pool and very very clean....
