Guest Reviews

Super calme. Le logement est très spacieux. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
- Erica (8/5): - - cucina ben attrezzata
- parcheggio interno
- privacy
- l'acqua calda dura poco
Teda 2 radiátory 1 elektricky druhý plynoví a ten nefungoval.
- Jean-michel (8/5): - L'environnement Le manque d'équipements tant cuisine que literie
- kinga (10/5): - Everything was fine, The entire apartment lot of space, little cold but little electric heater was provided, I would recommend

- Peter (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location - Awesome apartment that looks like a former wine cellar reconstructed into a house. It has everything, including wine barrels (empty, unfortunately) and wine press. The interior is beautiful and the bed is comfortable, it has fully equipped kitchen, including wine opener on a wall. Just outside the apartment is a church and a few meters behind it is a short but steep hike trail among the wineries up to La Corona, ideal for a sunrise hike. Mirador del Rio is also very close from Ye, so you can get there early in the morning before the bus tours do. Ideal accommodation for relaxing, hiking and cooking inside.
- Francisco Rogelio (10/5): -

- Nathalia (10/5): Cozy - Amazing place!
The hiking path is just a few metres from the house.
The place is so beautiful, and it was really clean.
Water pressure was perfect
Bed really comfortable
A lot of space Missing some wine glasses :)

- Emily (10/5): Beautiful - Unique little cottage with a lovely vineyard theme Nothing
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Milan (6/5): Nice spacious casa, but the owner's attitude didn't meet our expectations - The location is excellent 👍. Loved the volcano view. Having said that, expect it to be a bit cooler and windier than elsewhere in Lanzarote due to the altitude. Leaky roof and how the issue was handled by the owner. It really shouldn't take a week to send someone in to fix the leaks. Also negotiating a partial refund due to the issue was somewhat slow and time consuming.
- Tomas (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fine. Good location near super hikes locations. Staff is very helpful.
- Karen (5/5): Passable -
- Mojca (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (5/5): Could have been superb but spoiled by poor details especilly lack of wi-fi. - The location is excellent for visiting (by car) the northern end of Lanzarote and is only 20 minutes from the ferry for Isla Graciosa. The property has two apartments - we were in La Bodega. It is superb inside. Beautifully decorated with antiques and modern kitchen equipment. Immaculate. Very generously sized. Plenty of hot water. Quiet - overlooking a field and church a few hundred metres from the village centre. Poor communication (we never met nor even learned the name of our hostess). The information from Booking.com had merely told us 'check in from 15:00.' When we arrived we found the place deserted and needed a keysafe for entry. So we had to wait for a Whatsapp reply from the hostess (not easy as there is no phone signal from immediately outside the house). She thought B.com should have sent us the code - we never got it. We were disappointed with the number of problems we then had once inside. The room heater did not work. (Necessary as nights in the Canary hills are cold in January). The promised wi-fi was supposed to be on a network called Clave which was not recognised by either of our mobile telephones - we assumed a router problem. The modern touch control hot plate would not respond. After another Whatsapp message our hostess's father (non English speaking) came out to us. He could not get the heater or the wi-fi to work but did sort the hotplate out by resetting the circuit breakers in the fusebox. Despite several further requests (most of them unanswered) by Whatsapp these problems were not resolved all the five days we were there - meaning our only communication involved a walk along the road. The heating was solved by the clients of the adjoining apartment passing on to us a damaged fan heater they found in a cupboard. Despite the superb appearance of the place the details were poor - the shower head was so loose I had to tie it in position with a bootlace. There was no way to dry even washed socks - no drying rack or line. There were long lists of instructions as to what we must do - such as keeping the place clean and removing all our garbage at the end of our stay (itself an unusual demand) but there were no spare bin liners or even basic cleaning kit such as a brush and dustpan. We eventually found the village waste bins - a hint would have been useful.
- Dmytro (10/5): Highly recommended. - Really huge house with all you need. Private garden, parking, 1 min walk to the village center, bar, minimarket. 10 mins driving to Orzola beach with high waves. Super!
- Patricio (9/5): Peace and amazing views - Really calm, easy parking, very comfortable, well equipped. Clean and tidy, plenty of blankets. Beautiful decorations.
100 mts away from La Corona Volcano hiking trail, amazing views.
Staff answered my call right away and helped kindly, I was having trouble finding the house. WiFi signal strength dropped to zero leaving the kitchen/living room area. No wifi nor cellular signal at all in the bedroom. A bit undesirable, but manageable.
BBQ pit would be nice to have. (Do not know about regulations as it is a natural area)
Shower holder was loose, should be replaced.
- Kasia (8/5): Very good - the place is really great. everything is clean. it was cold in the evenings and nights
- Ave (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good - great house, great location very noisy beds!
- Ellen (8/5): Great place in the North to stay ! - Very cool place to stay, with the barrels and smell of wine :)
Location is perfect, next to a volcano!
To have private parking is fantastic.
Spacious apartment for 2.
Big bed.
Quiet village.
Would definitely recommend this place. Close to the Mirador, the cuevas, beautiful small beaches, natural pools.
Make sure you shop before you arrive, not a lot in the area/ or closed in afternoon. There was only 1 wine glass in an apartment with the name La Bodega.
The lights in the living area are way too bright.
Shower is not fixed correctly to the wall.
No wifi signal outside the living area and poor/no internet all around( but that might be provider related )
No washing machine tablets/powder/liquid to do a laundry.
This could all be fixed/solved very easily.
Poor use of the big living area/kitchen.
.
- Riccardo (7/5): Good - Its the second time in few months I come back in this place because the first time we had a good impression but we were in another room the bigger one. Now we stayed in the small one for two person.
The location I think is beautiful under the stunning vulcano of Ye that is dominating the area. From there is really easy to reach Orzolà to go to la Graciosa, or the beaches of the north of the island, the mirador and its beach under.
The house is well cleaned also the blankets and towels and the check-in is self made and super fast. It has a smart tv and the possibility to cook inside and the living room as a beautiful big window towards the vulcano. Its nice to do the breakfast with the view of the vulcano outside the house even though if there is the sun its too hot to stay there.
The forniture of the house give an old vibe with many pieces used in the process to make the wine.
The owner reply fast even though not providing solutions as I explained below.
It ha is own parking spot so your car wont be a problem. The check in is self made even though we received the message about it and about the code only the same day after lunch time and only after we wrote on booking at the owner asking info about (we knew being the second time the the check-in was self made but we needed the code and details). This can be not comfortable if is the first time for someone..usually you receive a message at least the day before you arrive or at the time of your booking.
There was a strong smell of umidity and trace of umidity in several points of the walls (of course is normal in Canarias but not such smell but we got used to it living the house and after was not a big deal) but there was also mold trace on the roof of the bedroom.
The bed is small and very firm with really terrible cheap slim pillows and the bedroom has a sparse looking with no wifi or any connection possible inside.
Few things were missing in the kitchen as sugar, colander and corkscrew (that funny because the room have really beautiful wine barrels of wine as forniture in the living room). And even if we asked about it to the owner she didn't offer to provide a corkscrew the next day.
The water and is the biggest problem because was hot only for 5 minutes so is impossible to do a normal shower even for one person and the second one has to wait 30 minutes to be able again. We informed immediately the first night the owner that replied us to come to check but she didn't (we stayed in the house till 12) and the second night was the same. Also this problem was present the first time we came month ago in the other room, for this reason I find this problem not passable especially the attitude of the owner to do not write or ask something the next day about it. But we were too tired the last night after an entire day out to write again and also would not have changed anything.
- Dóra (10/5): Exceptional - The place has a really cool vibe, like you are living in a wine cellar, but still cozy. View is pretty great from the place to the volcano and easy to climb up there. Very calm and silent neighborhood. Location is great, easy to discover the northern and eastern part of the island from here. no such thing
- Chiara (7/5): Spacious apartment but not very friendly host. - Big and spacious apartment, with everything that you’d need for a longer stay. Stale smell trough the whole apartment, paint coming of from the ceiling, we haven’t met the host, they only sent us a link for check in, haven’t contacted us after that.
- Ejatu (10/5): Such a fantastic stay! Located just by bus stop and easy to locate. The space was so clean and spacious and had everythi -
- Emilia (7/5): Good - The apartment La Bodega was spacious, very clean and with many vintage objects related to wine making. It's close to a couple of major attractions but also isolated and quiet The mattress was firm and sagging in the middle. This was the only place we visited in the Canaries that didn't have salt, pepper or a bottle of water. The only store where you could buy basic supplies closes at 3 pm.
- Rafal (9/5): Superb - a very old-style apartament with a lot of design object it might be cold inside
- Bj (8/5): Unique and spacious - Unique decor very spacious and spotlessly clean and well equipped. The info sent by the owner on the day of arrival was very helpful Perhaps some better instructions ie how to work the little electric cooker, where to find the washing machine and where to leave the rubbish
- Riccardo (9/5): Superb - The position to visit the north part. Be aware is close only to Orzola village.
The house was clean and the table outside for the breakfast at the bottom of an old vulcano. The location is nice but remote. Depend on what are you looking for.
- Wojciech (9/5): Superb - Interesting place very close to hiking trial to nearby vulcano crater.
