- Susana (10/5): Will stay here again! - Very unique stay. Well furnish and comfortable

- Josipa (10/5): I would stay in this hotel if I ever come back to Tokyo! -
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Madison (9/5): Good location, breakfast included, and feet saver! - Overall we had a really good experience at this hotel for our honeymoon. It offers free Japanese breakfast, sake at the bar during certain times and had a foot bath on the roof overlooking the Skytree. The bath saved our feet after long walking days. The hotel also provided comfortable Japanese lounge wear. Location was convenient for travel. It had one laundry machine (but it wasn’t advertised as well until we got there) so we did our laundry at a laundry mat close by. Just note they do have it already at the hotel so no need to go somewhere else.
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent stay. So sad I only stayed for one night. I cannot wait to come back. - This is probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff are all so nice and welcoming and kept the sake flowing. The room like all rooms in Tokyo was tiny but very comfortable with lots of amenities. I loved the third floor where you could read manga. I loved the free foot bath and so many perks including free breakfast and snacks. The location is wonderful! 3 minutes from the Ginza line and near Sensoji Temple, those viral pancakes and kappabashi street. What more could you ask for. Only a 20 minute walk to the Tokyo Skytree. Amazing value.

- Brendan (8/5): - Location
Quirky foot onsen on top level
Private onsen
Japanese breakfast, drip coffee, Sake, beer, juice on tap
- Maris (8/5): Tiny hotel in very quiet quarters - Very clean, cozy and new-feeling hotel, in a reasonably convenient location with good subway connections within 10 minute walk but not much life, shops or restaurants around the hotel. The rooftop foot bath was nice and free drinks option also. The room was very small, there was barely any space between the wall and the bed even. Breakfast was also very meagre.
- Emma (9/5): Lovely hotel with roof top foot bath and onsen. Loved trying the different free sake’s - Roof top foot bath and private onsen were great. Free Sake. Staff were friendly
- Jackqueline (9/5): Check in was easy, room was clean and had everything we could possibly need (including a kitchens which I didn’t even kn - Liked everything especially that it was on the smaller side, the roof top foot soak and the amenities that were provided were the best we had travelling through Japan. Nothing
- Richard (8/5): Comfortable and train station convenient, I look forward to a return trip. - Great location near the train station. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious Japanese breakfast. Costs are high and the room was quite small.

- David (10/5): Japanese tradition with modern touch - Set in Asakusa which is a relatively calm area but 5 minutes by foot to the station entrance and with the famous local temple and traditional shopping area about 15 by foot away.
An intimate apartment like room with small separate sleeping lounge bathroom WC and tiny but fully functional kitchen in traditional style with no chairs but great western beds.
Housekeeping mostly towel changes and vacuum ingredients etc as required but useful.
Very good breakfast evening meal and endless sake tastings ( also beer and whiskey as desired) either at the ground level bar or 10th floor hot bath area ( footballing plus sake...yes please).
Very warm and helpful staff. Friendly guests. Not luxurious but really a pleasure to stay there and would definitely do it again and recommend it unless you like big chain hotels.
Good value. We eventually requested some folding chairs as we are too old and inflexible to sit on the floor cushions provided. Readily provided on request.

- Teri (7/5): - Location. Staff. Breakfast Cramped

- Maegan (10/5): Great Asakusa hotel! - The foot bath on the roof was pretty cool. Nice to soak your feet to a nice view. And the hotel provided sake and late night snacks until 10pm. Very convient location. Was perfect for our stay.
- suguru (8/5): -
- Colton (10/5): The best hotel experience I’ve ever had. - The staff, incredible.
The accommodations, incredible.
Free meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner, free Sake, drinks, tea, beer, 24/7.
Private onsen, 1 hr time frame, plus the hot foot bath. Again free sake. It was a 10/10 stay. Nothing negative to say
- Marc-Antoine (10/5): perfect location, clean, comfortable ... and Sake! - The location in Asakura is perfect to explore Tokyo, the onset on the roof is wonderful, that's a real treat. Everything was great. I liked everything.
- John Paul (10/5): Honeymoon - Amazing place to stay. Neighborhood is more on the quiet side compared to a few blocks north. Close walking distance to different restaurants, temples, and the metro.
Hotel amenities are great. In the lobby, there are drinks and breakfast options available. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Rooms were very spacious and included everything we needed for our stay. The top floor has a foot bath and sake dispensers where you can drink sake while looking at Tokyo Skytree. A great way to end a busy day walking throughout Tokyo. All in all, one of the best hotels we stayed at during our time in Japan. Highly recommend for price, value, and location.
- Heather (10/5): Favorite place we stayed in Japan - The location was perfect, close to the train station, on a quiet street just out of central Asakusa. It managed to be sophisticated, classy, cozy, comfortable, warm, welcoming and fun! Don’t miss the onsen!
- Matilda (6/5): -
- Carina (7/5): -
- Beverly (10/5): What a joy - top notch amenities, central location and a comfortable room. - The amenities were wonderful. The rooftop bath and free-flow sake were such a joy to come back to after a long day of travel. The sake taps at the rooftop were empty or nearing empty too often.
- Jung (9/5):
- Wen (10/5): -
- Tin (6/5): Overall it was a solid location for a night of stay - The sake and foot bath. Nice area. Kinda tight for group of 4

- Amy (10/5): - This gem of a boutique hotel is in a quiet part of Asakusa that is also close to the action. Wonderfully appointed, traditional-styled rooms, outstanding amenities, including japanese-style breakfasts and snacks, plenty of sake and other refreshments to try, a wonderful rooftop footbath, and access to a private onsen. Our rooms also had onsen-style bathtubs which were wonderful to soak in. Service is unintrusive and excellent. My son left his earpods in another hotel in a different city, and Asakusa went above and beyond to coordinate the return of them to their hotel - unbelievable! We miss Japan and our lovely stay at this charming hotel!

- Miranda (4/5): The rooms are claustrophobic and not naturally lit. Not worth the money. The sake bar aspect feels dirty and isn’t anyth - The location is OK. It feels safe and the automated check in and checkout was convenient. The rooms are like closets. There is no natural light or windows. Extremely claustrophobic and the stairs were locked. Elevator access only. Felt like a hazard.
- Wonju (9/5): -
- pia (10/5): Sooo cosy, great rooms, location and service - So lovely and cosy, great with the breakfast and complimentary drinks. Super nice ‘lobby’ area to sit and relax, amazing rooftop foot bath, the rooms are spacious and beautiful. Attentive staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everything was good.
- Jahiza (10/5): - My stay at SAKE Bar Hotel Asakusa was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, the service was warm, sincere, and genuinely thoughtful. Every staff member went out of their way to assist us in every possible aspect, consistently exceeding expectations and making us feel truly welcomed and cared for.
The level of hospitality here is outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, and heartfelt rather than performative. It is rare to encounter service that feels this genuine.
The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. The ceramic bathtub inside the room elevated the entire experience, making each soak incredibly relaxing and luxurious. The complimentary access to the private onsen and sauna was absolutely amazing, and a true highlight of the stay. Being able to soothe our aching legs in the foot bath was the perfect finishing touch after long days out.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Without hesitation, this is now firmly in my top three favourite hotels not just in Japan, but in the world. I would return in a heartbeat and wouldn’t think twice about choosing this hotel again.
An unforgettable stay in every sense. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

- Mahi (10/5): Beautiful and Perfect! - We only stayed for one night, but I truly wish we could’ve stayed longer! Everything about this hotel was amazing. The private onsen was absolutely beautiful, and the free rooftop foot bath was such a relaxing bonus. We also enjoyed the complimentary sake and beer — such a nice touch!
One of my favorite parts was the giant ceramic soaking tub. I’m not sure if every room has one, but it made the stay feel extra special. There’s just something about having a cute, cozy bathroom to unwind in.
We also liked that the train to take us directly to the Airport was less then 5 minute walk from the Hotel.
Overall, we loved our experience and would definitely stay here again! The only thing I wish the room had was a separate door for the toilet. There was a door you could close for the bathroom, but a more private, sound-blocking door for the toilet area would’ve been nice.
Other than that small detail, everything about our stay was wonderful!
- Mariusz (10/5): - Pokoje bez okien, ciemno, mozna sie wyspac po podrozy. Wygodne lozka.
- Spencer (10/5): -
- Kerrie (9/5): - The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were so so small. But the location was great.

- Darlene (9/5): Great location with everything you need - We stayed in the deluxe twin room on the 7th floor. The twin beds were more the size of an american full. The room was spacious and had ample room for luggage, a kitchenette and soaking tub. We were able to use the spa once and did a sake tasting our last night in Tokyo to select some bottles to take home. This hotel offered daily cleaning, snacks, breakfasts, and drinks. Staff spoke english and was welcoming and helpful. Footbath was also nice! Great spot — easy access to Sensoji Temple and trains to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Airports. Its in a really nice, more quiet area of Asakusa. Very firm pillows were not to my or my husband’s liking. We used the decorative pillows to rest our heads on. I would also suggest maybe a more varied breakfast offerings. I had no issue with it personally, but i did notice other patrons complaining about the fish-based/japanese breakfast offerings.
- Judy (8/5): Good choice if you want to eat and drink lots Sake! - Good choice of free food, sake and other drinks. 24/7 sake is amazing. room is very small, no room for luggage even
- Adrianne (10/5): A perfect ending to a long day of sightseeing with amenities that made your stay so worthwhile! - Beautiful boutique hotel with amenities that make it worth the stay! We loved our family room which was big for a Tokyo hotel. The sitting living area was nice, and we were pleasantly surprised with the kitchenette it came with. The green tea was a nice touch and the bath tub was amazing to relax in after a long day! The private onsen (that included a sauna, hot bath, and cold bath) was my favorite part of the amenities as well as the free foot bath on the top floor with views of the SkyTree with free flowing sake and our sake cups. The staff was SO very helpful and kind!! They helped us ship our luggages to our next location and even helped walk it over to the Family Mart. The breakfast was so tasty every day! We loved every minute of our stay. Nothing - our stay was perfect!
- Linda (8/5): Loved it - Super clean, staff was very helpful and friendly, and above and beyond. Location is also great. I don’t drink much but sake and beer were nice, along with all the other thoughtful amenities like foot baths, little kitchen in room, pajamas. Tea bag coffee at breakfast- yuck. we went out for coffee every morning
- Matteo (1/5): -
- Anna (7/5): Nice staff, great to have the open sake bar. - Good location. Nice lobby. The private onsen was relaxing. Nice view of the Tokyo sky tower.
- Jihye (10/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): - The amenities and staff were fantastic. The suite is absolutely perfect for a family of 4. Staff speak English and are very welcoming.
- Mark (10/5): - 10/10 amazing boutique hotel. Comfortable and clean with a kitchenette and access to a beautiful private onsen. Free breakfast, sake, and beer. Also a free foot bath.
Needed luggage transport and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here during our next visit.

- Melanie (10/5): Comfortable, welcoming and highly enjoyable; wanted for nothing. - Good location, very friendly staff, spacious well appointed rooms with plenty of comfort items. Intimate welcoming bar/ breakfast area and superb spa. Glass of sake on the top floor balcony topped things off perfectly.

Eigenlijk niks.

- Po Wei (10/5): -
- Khalid (9/5): A unique boutique hotel, great location and friendly staff - It was homely, very nice staff understanding and considerate Perhaps some more variety for breakfast to accommodate different tastes
- Tiang (10/5): - Great rooftop foot spa, perfect for unwinding after a long day and good breakfast options
- Diane (10/5): -
- Erin B (9/5): Lovely place in Asakusa - Lovely room, traditional feel but also regular Western beds with soft, comfortable linens. Nice robe/slippers. Upstairs private onsen and public foot bath were both great. Breakfast was yummy and free sake and beer... Top notch. Great location, super quiet but within walking distance of subway and restaurants. The service was a bit strange. You basically check yourself in while they point at a screen and they are kind of around when you need them but mostly stay out of your way. Can be a pro or con.
- Milena (9/5): -
- Joshua (9/5): Perfect place to start our Tokyo adventure - Staff were very welcoming and polite. Hotel was immaculate with a great atmosphere Room was quite small
- Julianne (10/5): Great hotel - Very friendly & lots of freebies! Sake, beer, snacks. Room was small (typical Japan) but lovely & comfy. Loved the roof terrace with foot bath & sake. Nothing. Excellent stay.
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Garzon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seth (10/5): Exceptional - Lots of thought has been put into the facilities and experience. Would have been nice to have a men's & women's sento for usage without booking, but the room baths make up for that.
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Recommend 110%!!! Exceptional stay!! Its so cosy, comfy, so friendly, breakfast is so delicious and the foot bath is to die for. Check out the view!!! Its nestled in the most beautiful suburb, in a quite spot only 5 min walk from the river and another 5 to the market of the old quarters..actually the most incredible spot/hotel I've ever been too. Thank you so so so much 🙏🏾
