In confirmation was mentioned that I will receive instructions for accomodation two days before arrival. Nothing. I have sent two SMS to given phone numbers. Nothing. In the end I wrote mail to booking.com. After that somebody sent me a message "I spoke with booking.com. If you want instructions send me WhatsApp number."in

• peter_k (10/5): - Были 2 взрослых и 2 детей в конце марта. Жили одни в доме, больше жильцов не было. Номер на втором этаже с окнами на вход парка Гульхане. Действительно - регистрация не в этом здании, но внизу есть ресторан и персонал показал куда пройти - всего 30 метров, в отеле Шафран. Встретили как родных. Помогли с вещами, показали номер. Все просто, но идеально чисто. Никаких насекомых и запаха. В номере есть батареи и очень тепло. В ванне - теплый пол, полотенцесушитель. С водой так же не было проблем. При закрытых окнах улицы и трамвая практически не слышно, но нам вообще это не мешало - наоборот шум улицы, запах ресторана, трамвай - колорит Стамбула. Замечательный отель с идеальным местом. Отдельно скажу про завтрак - сытно, все свежее, нам хватало на пол дня. Яйца, овощи, Печёный перец, оливки, Печёный картофель, соусы, масло с медом, теплые лепешки и чай - супер. Все в ресторане на первом этаже. Такого нет, все было хорошо

Убирали и меняли полотенца каждый день. Есть фен и утюг. Вкусный завтрак. Пришлось поискать ресепшн, т.к. он в другом здании. Будьте внимательны к сообщениям от объекта размещения, это упростит ваши поиски. В Стамбуле пару раз сталкивались с такими поисками.

La visite se fait à pied tranquillement. L'appartement est bien, nous n'avons pas cuisiné. Le principal c'est que c'était propre et chauffage top. Petit déjeuner turque compris est correct sans plus. A rafraîchir le mobilier et revoir l'ajustement des meubles. Difficile d'atteindre le lavabo sans se cogner au meuble haut. Il faut se baisser systématiquement même étant petite de taille. (Appt A2).

A két hálószobás és nappalis szoba, tökéletesen megfelelt 4 felnőtt számára. Egyetlen kivetnivalót említenék. A dupla ágyas hálószobában sajnos ágyipoloska csípéssel lettünk tele. Kellemetlen érzés volt, és hazaérkezve sajnos 2.héten kezd csak múlni.

Apartamento limpio. Incluye un desayuno compuesto de huevos cocidos, patatas fritas, pimientos, diferentes quesos, mermeladas y te que sirven en el restaurante a pie de calle. No tiene ascensor. Entras con código y llave. La recepcion un poco mas arriba se encuentra siempre disponible. Estuvimos genial. A diario te cambian toallas y hacen camas. Nos suministraron todo lo necesario ( un nuevo secador y papel de baño). Las tuberias huelen un poco mal al usar el baño.

El apartamento es amplio. Ideal para cuatro personas. Totalmente recomendable y buena relacion calidad precio. Los que gestionan el apartamento estan en el hotel Safran con lo que no hay nadie esperando cuando llegas y tampoco te avisan de que debes acudir alli. Hay un poco de confusion al llegar. El chico que nos abrió no sabia la contraseña del wifi. Dijo que me la enviaria y se la reclame cada dia. La contraseña llego dias despues de que nos hubieramos ido. El desayuno es en el restaurant de abajo pero no merece la pena. Por el mismo precio hay unas cuantas cafeterias cercanas en las que desayunar mejor

• Ören (1/5): - Die Lage ist super Das Hotel ist extrem dreckig und versaut, es krabbeln Käfer und Milben im Bett. Gelbe Flecken, rote Flecken und braune Flecken auf Bettdecken und Möbel. Türen lassen sich nicht schließen. Regenwasser läuft vom Fenster rein. Schimmel an Wänden und Fensterrahmen. Aufwachen mit Kopfschmerzen durch schimmelbefall war tägliches Programm. Tv läuft nicht. Abfluss in der Dusche ist verstopft. Waschbecken verliert Wasser durch die Rohre zb nach Zähneputzen oder Händewaschen.

There were no instructions provided when we arrived as there is no lobby. We just waited outside in the rain until someone noticed us and went to get a person to help. I had been updating the hotel on WhatsApp, but received no reply. I believe breakfast was a traditional Turkish one consisting of bread, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, 2 types of cheeses, honey, Nutella, and an egg. Very basic but not bad.

Signage is limited, and even when asking for assis - The location was excellent It was incredibly difficult to find the hotel. Also, communication was poor, and the staff seem to be somewhat confused about our reservations. Finally, on the last day and a half the Internet went down and we had to move to the local restaurant in order to get on the web.
• Islam (5/5): The taxi transfer and the uncertainty about breakfast made our experience unpleasant - We were told to have breakfast at the restaurant associated with the property - in the morning they stunned surprised with this but honoured this. They did a good job sorting breakfast but naturally it took a long. We pre booked a taxi transfer back to the airport. This was clearly not booked and when we confirmed this in the morning it all seemed ok. When we went to reception to the taxi was not there and it appeared like it was not booked at all as the man was calling round trying to find a taxi

• Omar (8/5): Perfectly located apartment for Istanbul sightseeing - Great, central location close to all the sites in Sultanahmet, great restaurants in Sirkeci and the tram line. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited and consisted of boiled eggs, bread, cheeses, deli meat, cucumbers, tomatoes, fried cheese rolls and tea—fair warning for families with picky eaters. The bathroom had a slight smell of sewage and the furnishings were a bit dated. But overall, the place was clean and spacious for our family of 3.

The location is perfect for family with kids, exactly in front of the Gulhane Park and close to the Gulhane Tramway Station 2. The size of the room is big enough for family with 2 kids 3. Kitchen help us to save budget for foods 4. They let us a late check out until 14.00 However, some negatives can be improved in the future: 1. Finding the location of the hotel is quite difficult, especially considering the lobby is in different location of the hotel, maybe you can provide clearer instructions for next customers 2. There is no fry pan for cooking eggs or etc

• Tim (1/5): Not a deluxe apartment, not a hotel, which is a shame as the location is great. - The apartment was spotlessly clean, located near the heart of the old city and beside the Park. The person booking us in tried to be helpful and everyone else we met at the hotel and restaurant of the same name were lovely. The apartment we were put in initially was available on Booking.com for £127 for 2 nights, including complimentary breakfast, a real bargain for a great location. The room was decorated and originally furnished to an acceptable standard. On the face of it, this should result in a high score, but... The hotel isn't actually a hotel - it's 4 apartments above a restaurant, and you actually check in 200 yards away at the Safrane Hotel. Not an issue - except the 'Hotel' address given does not exist, taxis struggles to find it and then the person managing the booking made it oh so much worse. First, they forgot to send us details of how to find them - and failed to respond when I chased. We booked many months in advance and communicated with the hotel 7 days before arrival. On arrival, they admitted they had forgotten to actually reserve a room and forgotten we were arriving. But, not to worry as the Deluxe apartment I paid for was available... The promised deluxe apartment cost us £310, excluding breakfast - it should have had Garden and Landmark views (the one we had did not). The first apartment we were shown to was small, lacked the number of beds etc we had booked and was above the kitchens making it noisy and smelly. When we objected and showed them a photo of the booking.com photos, we were moved up one floor - but the bedroom still suffered from noise and vibration from the extractor bolted to the wall below the window. The apartment was not being maintained - electric sockets were loose and coming out of the wall, light fittings broken, 1 aircon unit not working, handles were broken on furniture. No hairdryer and no equipment to wash and dry up in the kitchen. Only 1 curtain actually covered the window - one bedroom lacked a curtain entirely. That bedroom only had a window 6ft off the ground, and was itself obscured by a massive floodlight hung across it to illuminate the building! Sadly, I can't recommend the specific apartment, nor the advertising of the one we booked as Deluxe.

• Liviumi (9/5): Superb - An interesting accommodation experience: it's not Gulhane Hotel Old City ... it's Hotel Safrane; it's not a hotel, there are apartments in an autonomous building, above the Safrane restaurant from Gulhane area; it's not the Hotel Gulhane, where maps takes you, but the restaurant of the Hotel Safrane from Gulhane tram station. It is clear, yes ? You won't understand anything. But you will have the sensational experience of very long days, started very early, at about 6.00 a.m. when the first tram that passes by the building, creaking on the rails, wakes you up. You will count the next trams like sheeps when you want to sleep, but in one hour, at about 7:00 a.m. you will jump out of bed like a spring at the howling from the speakers of the muezzin from the close Hagia Sophia, who is performing the morning prayer. If you want an extreme experiences, try it. You will leave there like from the Shutter Island.

• Scott (7/5): Good - Very handy to the major tourist attractions. We were on the first floor and it was quite noisy due to it having a couple of restaurants right beside the hotel. Our room also had many bees coming through the windows during the day. We were offered another room but its layout didn’t suit our group so we moved half our group to another hotel.
• Tania (8/5): Great location but make sure you receive check-in information in advance - Excellent location for sightseeing, tidy & comfortable (although sofa bed in lounge only suitable for one) Unfortunately a lack of communication from property meant we arrived with no idea how to get into our apartment & the phone number provided was for a staff member who had left the business. There is quite a bit of noise from restaurants/trams underneath window but bearable in the highest rooms with earplugs & goes quiet at midnight.

• Aleksandr (3/5): We tried to walk more so as not to return to these apartments - The location is excellent - everything is nearby, the entrance to the park is generally right in front of the apartment. The room was without breakfast, we had breakfast on our own in different places. The apartment is very old, very dirty. There is an unpleasant smell. Fungus on the bathroom ceiling. The dishes are all scratched - cooking in such pans is simply dangerous for your health. The toilet and shower are very small.
• Angelina (8/5): Very good - The staff went beyond themselves to be of assistance. The place is small but nice and although situated over a busy restaurant, no noise goes up. The position of the apartment cannot be more central and still it is secluded. There were no extra blankets and covers - thus we could have used the second room and our stay would have been more comfortable.
• Hyungwoon (3/5): Poor - Very good location. There were flies in the living room when I checked in and the toilet water was running all day long. Air-conditioner was not working in one of the bedrooms and all the controllers could not control the wind speed. They can only turn on the air-conditioner and control the temperature. I was supposed to checkin to the second floor by myself but there were someone else when I arrived, and I was reassigned to another unit after I visited the hotel office which is 5 minutes away. When I contacted to the given contact number, she sent me a message saying that she is not working for them anymore and told me to contact the Le Safran Suit hotel. The breakfast was really bad. When I arrived the hotel breakfast place around 9:30, no more coffee or tea were left and they did not refill. We stayed for ten days and only I had the breakfast 3 times.

• Suidong (10/5): Exceptional - The landlord is very enthusiastic and solves the problem quickly. Although the room is not big, the basic facilities are intact and clean. The location is perfect, basically in the scenery. The restaurant downstairs is not noisy.

Also close to the tram stop. The rooms were lovely, clean & comfortable. Towels & slippers provided. Daily housekeeping & fresh towels. Efficient & good communication with clear & easy self check in option. The bathroom does have some wear & tear & slightly on the smaller side but we didn't find it to be an issue to be honest. The trams do pass by but we didn't find the noise to be intrusive or an issue for us

• Irina (9/5): We are very satisfied at our stay :) - Top location near to main historical places and attractions, even on foot. There are many options around to have lunch/dinner, food was very delicious, no matter where you choose to sit. Very clean appartment, comfortable beds, free wi-fi and super polite host. Definitely we will be back soon! :) There was unpleasant smell from the toilet, maybe because of the old sewage. Better keep the door of the bath shut all the time. But it was not a big deal, everything else with the appartment was fine, we recommend it :)
• Maria (10/5): Great apartment - This apartment is perfectly located (5 minutes away from Ayasofya) You can find there everything you need (toiletries, clean towels, tea and coffee) Host was really kind and helpful, answered on messages in couple of minutes. For our next stay we will definitely book same apartment.
