• Nico_carda (8/5): Book here if you are going to a gig at Troxy or explore a different part of London - It was like being hosted by a friend. The host is really helpful and he was eager to chat about anything I could ask. I highly recommend it if you're attending a gig at Troxy as it's really close to it. Not really suited for you if you're looking for a romantic place to stay.

• Ahmed (1/5): Disgusting service - I would not recommend the place to anyone as it doesnt clearky state theres a shared bathroom. Also my car broke down coming from manchester which i notified the property of and they agreed to fully refund, however they then changed their mind and took the full money anyway. Clearly no character, desperate for money... Pathetic.

• Trina (2/5): Don’t do it! Unless you’re desperate. - Hmmm…. I liked that the window only opened an inch so that future guests can’t jump out to escape the room. A) the host made me wait an age to come meet me B) there is no signage or directions and the Uber driver had trouble finding it C) the keys were complicated - 3 Different keys D) it is just someone’s crappy apartment with every window boarded up. Felt creepy. E) The lift only goes down 😂 F) The bedding was a cheap sheet amd a picnic blanket inside a duvet cover G) Don’t forget to use the door wedge or take the keys when you go to the bathroom - you’d have no way of getting back into your room, and if you weren’t holding your phone you’d be unable to contact the host. H) The building is on The Highway) that is the only way trucks can drive to Essex, very hard to sleep.
• Robert (8/5): get what you pay for. did the job. got a good nights sleep - 5 minutes from troxy. Near the waterfront. I didn’t realise the owner of the property would be there as well as I prefer somewhere private.
• Bryce (8/5): Great location, good value and friendly host - Fantastic location and very friendly host. Good value for money. Just a bit noisy on a warm night when I needed the window open.
• Marie (8/5): Very good - the host is friendly and funny, good advice for a restaurant close by with a view of the Thames! it's a convenient location for a short stay, home stay! don't expect or compare this to a hotel or airbnb where the whole place is designed for your own comfort and only that
• Iulian-sorin (3/5): Very noisy room next to the street - The room was in apartment which one is not clean, problems with keys to come in and to come out, position of the building is next to the main street and I didn't sleep at all for all night because of noise... The room is not confortabile, apartament is situated in building next to the street with trafic lights near the window and I can't sleep and relaxed because of cars who makes noise.
• Jonathan (10/5): Great location especially for people going to gigs at Troxy - Great location, 5 minutes walk from Troxy and tube station. Host was very gracious despite the fact I accidentally locked him in his flat for 4 hours! Shower was nice and powerful and price is very reasonable For light sleepers the busy road outside could be bothersome, but as I'm a heavy sleeper it was just fine.

• Trevor (8/5): Once I'd found it this was perfectly fine for a 1-night stay. - I booked this residence as it was cheaper than a stay closer to the city centre where I was working over the weekend. I've clicked 'not as expected' as I hadn't realised that this was not a hotel (What I expected) but a private residence. However, once I'd found it, the property was clean, comfortable, and the owner was warm and friendly. The bedroom was large and not cramped, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a decent shower, and was kept warm by a large radiator which was very welcome. I didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed well-stocked with tea, coffee etc for use if I'd wanted it. The towel that was provide was adequate, but a larger one would have been welcome, and the noise form the road outside was quite loud, but I can't blame the owner for that. Triple-glazing on the property would help!
