Guest Reviews
- Caroline (5/5): - I was constantly messaged on the day of arrival being asked when I would arrive at the property and asked multiple times to pay a fee of over £85 before I had even arrived so that someone could let me into the property. I had a flight to London which was delayed meaning I arrived at the property very late at night. They were not understanding at all but constantly messaging me and demanding money.
As I knew i had a late flight I could have avoided this if it was clearly stated on Booking.com that there was afee for checking in past (8pm). A keysafe would solve this problem but they should also be upfront about any fees they have BEFORE a customer books and not after.
To make matters worse the next day i had been out all day and returned to see the balcony door wide open and the bathroom door shut which i had intentionally left open to air out. I immediately messaged the property managers to ask if anyone had been in the flat and if so why. The reply i got is "I have no idea, but I will ask", of course nobody got back to me about this. I did not feel safe slwwping in the flat that night knowing someone may have a key and come in whenever they please.
The property itself is OK, walls were scuffed and the apartment is in need of a little updating. Cleanliness and location was just OK.
For the amount of money I paid, I would at least expect a better service. Would not do so well on a platform like Airbnb which is what I am used to,
- Phil (9/5): - Excellent location with easy travel connections to the city, large apartment to spend your time in London in comfort. Would stay here again 👍
- ABDULAZIZ (10/5): Excellent value for money and a very comfortable stay - Spacious apartment by London standards, comes with a kitchen, living room, 2 balconies (one master bedroom, other living room), 2 bedrooms and has an extremely competitive price. I liked the bathroom as well, it was very spacious and had both a bath and a shower. Within a minute of walking you have a decent cafe and a tesco express which I enjoyed a lot. The property doesn't have air conditioning, which is fair enough in London because not many properties have AC, and they did have fans in both rooms that worked very well. The location is okay however it was about a 15-20 minute walk to the station.
- Bamidele (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy, everything was clean and property is spacious
- H (7/5): Good -
- Greg (8/5): Overall enjoyed the stay there, and the price was right. - It was an apartment and not a hotel. Love having a kitchen and the extra room. And the price was right for a week stay in an apartment in London. Couch was cheap and not very comfortable. The location on the east side is a little more difficult to get to the tourist attractions, but that was expected given the discount in the daily rate for the apartment.
- Lyublyana (6/5): Nice place but stressful experience - (fyi we were moved to a different property with a similar style, price, location and I think ran by the same staff)
That being said, the thing we liked was the property itself - it was new, clean, spacious and well furnished. (fyi we were moved to a different property with a similar style, price, location and I think ran by the same staff)
Honestly, the whole experience was a little stressful. While the staff were nice and informative:
- we were informed of a double booking and moved to another apartment weeks after making our reservation
- a deposit that was more than half our accommodation price was asked. While that wasn't a problem, it wasn't made clear anywhere when booking and can easily be a problem for people travelling on a budget. What is more, it makes being in the apartment feel rather stressful.
- we asked about a hairdryer at the very start of our stay and never even received a response.
- we were 4 people and had 4 towels of different sizes (some smaller and some bigger) and asking for extra towels brings you an extra charge...
The location is also not ideal if you'd like to spend time in central London. Closest tube is a 20 min walk, most of it along highways.
- Shakeela (10/5): Hosts and staff were amazing , quick responses and support when needed. Apartment was very clean and comfortable great l - Easy access
Very clean
Comfortable
Homely environment N/a
- Alexander (7/5): Good - It was in a more quiet area and was close to transportation options. It was not very clean when my family got there and the walls are all scuffed up in multiple locations.
- Olubodun (8/5): We enjoyed our stay.. - The rooms were well aerated with good ventilation..
- Tiny (10/5): One of the best properties in London - The property was exactly what it looks likes in the pictures, great space As a suggestion Some properties I have stayed in put small refreshments in the property I.e coffee tea just as welcome (that’s just the bare minimum I would personally expect in short stays) all in all the property is beautiful
- Juan (10/5): The place is located near a bus stop and 15min walking to the subway. The facilities are quite exceptional. - Really friendly host, and the place it’s amazing! The neighborhood is nice and you can find a supermarket to buy groceries really close to the apartment.
- Yong (10/5): Excellent Stay - City area, Clean, Modern Nil
- Ayomide (10/5): My stay at this accommodation was totally amazing!!! - The cleanliness and the homely feeling Nothing, the accommodation is absolutely fantastic
