• Cindy (10/5): Beachfront peaceful paradise. - The location oceanfront. The terrace right in front of the sea as well as the bedroom whilst in bed you felt like you are on a ship. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine. Lots of books , games, everything you could need was there. Miriam was a great host giving us many suggestions for day trips and places to shop for food. The closest market is about 5 km away. We travelled during the shoulder season and the weather was cooler than expected. You are literally steps from the beach. All chairs umbrellas were provided. We requested extra towels and they showed up within minutes. We stayed for 2 weeks. This location is very tranquil small fishing village. There are no shops or markets in the village itself. A bread truck comes everyday except Sundays honks the horn and you can buy bread. There is also a produce truck that comes on Fridays that is parked near the underpass just around the corner of the apartment. Parking was not an issue we parked in the alley behind the apartment. We chose this location because we wanted to explore the Alpujarra region as well the coastal areas northeast of our location. Easy day trips to Granada and Almería. I am an artist and had so much inspiration with the surrounding hills and sea. The wildflowers were exploding on the hillside. If you want peace and tranquility this is the place for you. There was nothing I disliked. I want to point out this is an isolated location so you must plan for your food needs. In Spain most places shut down for the siesta time of 1:30-5:30pm Restaurants are few that are open during this time. Most close around 4 and do not open until 7:30 or 8pm. For dinner. So plan accordingly. Also we found that when we googled certain bars/tapas places it would say they were open and they were not so do not rely on the web call ahead. We found it hard to find an open grocery store nearby open on Sundays. There is a little beach restaurant that is on the Melicena beach, the web said it was open but it was not. We were there off season so many restaurants and bars never opened along the smaller little towns that were nearby.

Desde el trato recibido por parte de Miriam, la anfitriona, facilitando mucha información desde el primer momento, así como también en lo referido a las comodidades del propio apartamento, nivel de limpieza y localización (a escasos metros de la playa). Era justo lo que buscábamos para ir a pasar unos días tranquilos junto a nuestro perro.
• Šimková (10/5): - Milé překvapení bylo, že paní mluví slovenksky. Její přístuo byl naprosto výtečný, dala nam všemožná doporučení ( kam jít do fitka, jak na ulici před apartmanem koupit čerstvé ryby a pečivo, kam zajit na prosklenou lavku či kam vyrazit do hor na oběd). Toto ubytování předcilo naše očekávání, opravdu bylo neskutečné!!Jak lokalita, vybavení ,....prosté vše. Všem vřele doporučujeme !!! Nic ...vše bylo úchvatné !!!

• jordi (10/5): Vacaciones de relax - El apartamento de Miriam es exactamente igual que en las fotos, es precioso, limpio y con unas vistas increíbles. Perfecto para pasar unos días desconectado y tranquilo. Pocos sitios quedan así para poder disfrutar de la tranquilidad. A 1h de granada, Málaga y Almería. Es ideal para explorar el sur de España. El apartamento cuenta con todas las necesidades. Esperamos volver pronto! Todo genial!
• Mary (10/5): Restful - Lovely property right on the beach in a quaint little community. Our host was in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The bread man comes at 9 am to sell bread out of his van. Nice swimming beach. Bring your swim shoes for tender feet on small pebbles. Beach chairs and umbrella where in the apartment. The property was clean and well stocked. The pictures are of sunrise and sunset. Great way to end our trip in Spain.

• Jose (10/5): Un lugar ideal - La ubicación del apartamento es inmejorable, con una terracita que da directamente al mar. La habitación cuenta con un gran ventanal desde el que es un verdadero placer despertarse cada mañana escuchando el sonido de las olas. El pueblecito es encantador y tranquilo, ideal si lo que buscas es desconectar y disfrutar de la calma, como si viajaras a otra época. La gente del entorno es acogedora y cercana. El poder ir con el perro y poder disfrutar de la playa con él ha sido una gozada. Y no puedo dejar de agradecer a Miriam, la anfitriona, por lo bien que me hizo sentir en todo momento: siempre atenta y dispuesta a ayudar.

• Eduardo (10/5): Maravillosa semana en la playa - Nos encantó todo. La ubicación es maravillosa en la misma playa. El apartamento está perfectamente equipado. Tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar. La anfitriona Míriam es un encanto de mujer. Lo tiene todo cuidadisimo. No nos ha faltado jabón de baño, jabón de cocina, gel para el lavavajillas, papel higiénico.... nos dejó hasta café e infusiones lo cual nos pareció un auténtico detalle.. Ha estado preocupada en nuestra estancia por si necesitábamos algo y nos ha enviado muchísima información tanto.de lugares que visitar como restaurantes y supermercados que quedaban mas cerca. Sin duda volveremos a repetir ya que ha sido una maravillosa semana de descanso y desconexion. Muchas gracias por todo Míriam. Volverrmos. Nada.
• C (10/5): Clean and comfortable apartment in a peaceful location with a very helpful and friendly host - As others have said, this accommodation is a wonderful choice if you want to disconnect from stress and spend time in a small peaceful village with almost no other tourists, and with a lovely long and usually almost deserted beach just a few metres away. The apartment was perfectly clean, comfortable and equipped with everything needed for our week's stay. The village itself has almost no facilities apart from a popular cafe bar on the beach at weekends, but just a short drive away are many towns with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Also nearby (and with no disturbance from noise) are the main coast roads which easily connect to the towns and cities towards Malaga in the west and Almeria to the east. The accommodation is also a good base to visit Granada, the Sierra Nevada and many other tourist destinations. People in the village were very friendly, and it was easy to find free parking just a few minutes walk away. A special mention also for our host Miriam, who was friendly, helpful and very informative with tips and suggestions, and who was always quickly available via WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. In summary, if you're looking for peace and quiet with beautiful sea views, lovely sunsets (and for us even some sightings of dolphins) this is a perfect place to stay.
• Lazar (10/5): A piece of heaven! - This apartment is truly a piece of heaven: a wonderful option for those who are in search of relaxation. The location is right on the beach, in a very small and tranquill community. The beach is a combination of small pebbles and sand and is almost empty all the time. The apartment is cozy and clean. It has a small balcony that provides shade all day long and an amazing 180 degrees seaview.. The kitchen has everything you need. The livingroom has a Smart TV. The owner was really nice and accomodating to our needs. Very prompt also. She thought of all the small details that make a stau comfortable (salt, tea, coffee, first aid kit etc.). The owner provides you with chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The parking was easy to find. Please keep in mind there is no shop in the vicinity, so you have to bring everything with you. Everything was spotless clean, and the view of the sea was absolutely breathtaking — it honestly felt unreal, like something out of a postcard. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding and a peaceful atmosphere. The host was amazing — very kind, responsive, and attentive to every little detail. She made sure we had all the information we needed and was always available in case we had any questions. The location was also perfect: quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to restaurants and local attractions. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying breakfast with a sea view was a dream. We would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway by the sea!

It’s bright, beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. You can really enjoy peaceful days here. The owner is also a wonderful person who takes great care of her guests with kindness. We will definitely be back!

• Hans (9/5): Lovely time in a quiet fishing village. - Excellent appartement overlooking the beach with the Mediterranean See only 20 meters away. Located in a quiet little fishing village with very friendly neighbours. Appartement felt very new and was tastefully furnished and decorated. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked. No shops and only one beach-bar (I visited in February and the bar was only open in the weekend), but good shops in nearby villages and town. Also visiting baker, greengrocer and fishmonger, but I was not sure about their visiting hours. Hostess was very attentive and helpful. I had a wonderful restful time during off-season. Would gladly return someday.
• Eileen (8/5): Quiet apartment with beautiful view - Nicely decorated and equipped apartment with gorgeous views from the balcony - almost in the sea! It was impeccably clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. We went out of season and very little was open. This was obviously not the host's fault!
