Saskia (10/5): Delicious food and great location - Wonderful location, right at the start of the hike to the lakes. Spacious room with a view on the mountains, private bathroom and toilet. Very kind owners who offer to accompany you on the hike. Delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients and an even better dinner (I recommend the meat, soooo tasty) Very difficult to reach, especially from the direction of Peshkopi (from Lezhë it better but still very hard and sometimes dangerous). You absolutely need a SUV, otherwise you car will break. This hotel is a bit more expensive than usual in Albania and dinner is also more expensive than we are used to. But it is a unique experience so worth it.
Lizzy (9/5): Great Guesthouse! - Great place to stay to see the lakes and surrounding beautiful countryside. Our room was peaceful, comfortable and well equipped for our one night stay. The family run restaurant is excellent - we had a delicious dinner and breakfast there, the best meals we had in Albania. And very generous servings too. Nothing! Just be aware that the road into Lura isn't surfaced - it's a very slow and bumpy ride. And it's a three hour walk up to the lakes, especially if hot.
