Guest Reviews
- Stacy (10/5): - Well put together, great location.
- Manu (3/5): Average - Liked how spacious it was and the fully equipped kitchen plus the living room was. Center of London. Sofa was quite dirty to sit on and the dust and dirts underneath the big sitting cushions 😓 the living room and the bedroom was undeniably cold in the night and the bed mattress, idk if it was just us but the mattress was very uncomfortable,

- Laura (8/5): - Location, apartment was well maintained and had everything I needed. Close to London Bridge and supermarkets also close by for picking up snacks. There was no key for the deadlock on the door. As a sole female it would have al little more secure if I could have locked that. But overall the building felt really safe anyway so it wasn't much of an issue.
Bed was very low. But mattress was good.
- Mary-Claire (9/5): - Excellent location very close to London Bridge station, borough market and tesco.
Flat really quiet and peaceful after a busy day. More pillows and towels would be good.
- Jo (1/5): Avoid! Not like advsertised! - Nothing after how I was treated. This flat has a internal door in hallway with a sign “do not open this door plz” and behind there is another flat with a toilet, you can hear people speaking there all the time and ladies walking wearing heels speaking Chinese. Owner said it is an office and separate to the flat but it is not, feels like there are people in the flat with you. Not like advertised.
I reported and vacated same day as the noise continued past 6pm. Did not receive a refund and owner stopped replying to me altogether. Contacted Booking.com and they said they could not resolve this with the landlord.
- Gundula (5/5): Lage gut, Betten schlecht vorallem das Ausziehsofa - Lage sehr gut Schlafarrangements eher schlecht, Kommunikation mit Vermieter über booking unklar

- Lorna (7/5): We were quite happy with the stay. The futon (main bed), is not a great mattress. The WiFi kept cu; - There were no meals Good location. Quiet area, especially for overnight rest. There were no breakfasts included, but none expected, as not advertised to do. Would have appreciated a few basic condiments ie. Salt, pepper, sugar. Some tea towels for washing up dishes for homemade meals in air b&b.

- Lydia (8/5): Fab location, comfortable stay - The location is great. It was nice to have a balcony as it was heat wave when we visited. The listing gave info about collecting keys from a location 10 minutes from the property but I messaged to explain I was travelling from Wales with 3 children and on one of the hottest days of the year. Host messaged and organised for a cleaner to do their apartment clean later so they could meet us at the property with keys which was really appreciated. The man was very pleasant and had waited as we were a bit delayed due to train issues.
Comfortable stay, can’t comment on the sofa bed as my boys slept on that, they said they slept ok.
I was exhausted so would have slept on a clothesline! Think the bedroom bed was comfortable enough, shame we couldn’t open for any breeze in the bedroom at night as there is no window, it’s got doors so for security obviously couldn’t open them whilst sleeping. I burnt my fingers removing a meal from the oven as there was no oven gloves or even any tea towels so was trying to use a dishcloth.
Could also do with table mats to protect furniture if eating hot food. The TV volume didn’t work when on normal tv but did when we logged in to our Netflix ( which I’ve just realised I forgot to log out of 🙈)
Bathroom still had what looked like talc on the floor in places, the bath tap was dripping.
Fridge bulb needs replacing.
Wouldn’t take much to make it a better stay but it wasn’t bad by any means.
- Melanie (7/5): Great location and spacious but needs a new bed/mattress. - Very close the station, river, transport and shops. kitchen looks new and is well equipped except coffee maker. Key pickup is not near the apartment, so you need to be ready to drag luggage around the very busy London Bridge station area to pick up key and then go to the apartment. It needs a coffee maker (standard in most hotels and studios around London), and the mattress on the bed is old and uncomfortable (feels more like a box spring). There is no armoire or hanging rack to hang clothes on a hanger.

- Martin (10/5): We would come back again. - Excellent location, well maintained facilities. —-
- N-mac (10/5): Great Location - Amazing Location, Parking was perfect, contact to the cleaning company that supported was perfect Sofa bed not very comfortable, but OK for 1 night stay
- Dottie (5/5): Disappointing flat in otherwise great area. - The location was good. Vibrant area. Short walk to train/underground. Near to walkway along the Thames. WIFI good Communication not great. Had to text from Airport before boarding flight to firm up on key collection details. Flat is a 4 minute walk from station but 30 minute round trip to pick up keys from High Street shop with heavy luggage not good. Got to flat. No toilet roll, mix of clean and dirty dishes in dishwasher. A quarter of a kitchen roll in the kitchen to let us wash/ dry the dirty cutlery in the drawer before we could use it. Bed room cramped with no wardrobe to hang clothes. Chest of drawers had spare duvet on top of it so couldn’t use that as a table top. Mattress poor. Very soft, creaked at the slightest movement in bed and could feel the springs . This needs replaced or at least use a decent mattress topper. Couldn’t open curtains in bedroom as this looked onto communal area / front door. This was a patio door and therefore couldn’t open at night for ventilation. Dusty electric fan found in a cupboard but covered in dust and had to be cleaned before use. Flat in general is tired and needs a deep clean. Lots of dust around the skirting boards and just doesn’t smell fresh. It’s a shame as nice modern secure block of flats but flat is basic. Owner did send someone round the next day to supply toilet and kitchen roll and a hairdryer as there wasn’t one.
- Devika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ye (10/5): Very smooth stay in London - Pro: We had really good communications with the owner. When we arrived, it was past midnight, we asked the owner ahead of time if that was okay, they sent a reply very soon and told us they will try to solve it. Then early on the day of our flight, they solved the issue and messaged us, we got the key from a 24/7 shop close by, it was smooth and the instructions were very clear! When we got to the room, it was more spacious than I thought. All the rooms were very clean. The large fridge and microwave in the kitchen was very nice. There were more communications on the last day regarding placement of the key and cleaning up, they were again very nice and smooth, fast response from the owner. The apartment location was excellent, lots of nice shops nearby, and very easy to travel both via bus and train.
Con: bed was a little soft for us, but it was not a big deal, we slept well. Next door neighbor can be heard quite clearly in the room. However, it was quiet most of the time, certainly no noises after 10pm.
- Maxime (10/5): I highly recommend this apartment, quiet and close to everything. - The apartment is ideally located in the heart of London. Very close to the metro, buses, market...
A very efficient host.
A fantastic stay. The second bed is not great, and the shower head is very tired...
- Mark (8/5): Well worth a visit! - Great location and price! Host was very engaging! Heating on, when I arrived would have been good. Although soon warmed up!
- Grace (9/5): Superb - Great location
Comfortable place, very homely
Was the perfect place for me Took ABIT of time to get the keys but once I got the keys, Everything was perfect after that
- Aarthi (8/5): Very good - Clean None
- Alexandra (7/5): Nice apartment, nice neigbourhood and convenient location. The hosts need to work on communication! - The apartment is in a great location, easily accessible from an airport and close/good connection to most sightseeing. Nice neigbourhood with everything one needs and nice strolls alongside Thames. A big plus for us as we had a stroller - a lift! There is a well equipped kitchen, big enough bathroom… Cold! We traveled with two small children, ready to rest after a long day, but all the heaters were turned off (it was freezing outside) when we first areived, plus the balcony door was locked (with no key) but not properly closed so the cold kept coming in. We finally warmed the apartment up after 1,5 days!
The communication might had been better! We didnt get the checkin instructions until 10am the day of our arrival (what if we didnt have an internet connection?!). After asking about spare sheets (only one set was prepared although the booking was made for 4 persons) and trying to solve the balcony problem, we were told the person is not working on weekends - end of discussion, we received no more replies… Be sure to communicate via Booking platform, even if they say you can use whatsapp…
There is a big window between bedroom and kitchen (with blinds).
- Mark (6/5): Not a sanctuary despite excellent location. - Location excellent. It was extremely close to two venues we had tickets booked for. Lack of communication about access to property. Would be better to have received instruction the day before at least. It was very cold when we arrived as balcony doors were open and couldn’t be closed. There’s no information in the apartment and took ages to locate the switches to turn them on. We had contacted the owner about turning them on, but no reply. The apartment is very basic and tiered looking. Hardly a sanctuary.
- Ymc (5/5): Would not consider staying here again as communication extremely poor leading to a stressful experience. - The location of the property was amazing - close to London Bridge Station and the Shard, with shops and eateries in close proximity. The property was clean. No information was given regarding key pick up and parking from the property, even though I had messaged them regarding this. It was lucky the cleaner was in the apartment upon our arrival to give us keys, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to access the accommodation, especially as the host was not answering the number provided. We messaged Booking.com only to be told they’d deal with our query within 24hours (still waiting). We found this extremely stressful especially as we had booked the property for parking - due to being on crutches and couldn’t access the car park.
It would have been good if the property had left an instruction manual on how the TV, heating etc all worked. The TV remote didn’t sync to the TV, the toilet was constantly running, the freezer door didn’t close properly and there wasn’t a plug for the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink plug didn’t work either. All in all, the property was a little tired. In future would consider booking into the local Hilton for a similar price.
- Kareena (9/5): Great place - Great location 2 min to railway and underground. Close to Burroughs market and restaurants
