Guest Reviews
Rien
- Walid (8/5): Top - Appartement was schoon. Nadat hij ons 4 nachten in rekening had gebracht a 30 euro per nacht.
- Aurore (9/5): Super location, super clean and calm - Great location, hosts very helpful. Super clean and very calm even though it is in the historic area! As many people mentioned , lots of stairs so be prepared but you have no once on top of the flat. The kitchen is a bit tiny, we were 2 with a kid so it was ok for us. I wouldn’t say breakfast included though, there is coffee and jam and biscotte available which is very nice but not a full breakfast. You have a grocery nearby where you can buy things and plenty of space on the fridge. Really recommend.
- Niki (9/5): Our stay at La Casetta di Marianna was nice and convenient for our trip. - The apartment was well appointed and clean. Luigi was a very responsive host and explained everything very clearly, giving us good advice and answering questions quickly. The low ceiling stairwells in the apartment were very narrow and steep, which for some travelers could be an issue. Also many stairs to reach apartment (not an issue for our family but could be for others).
- Sophie (8/5): We had a very enjoyable time. Everything worked well and the host was easily contactable and helpful - It was clean and in a great location We didn’t mind but others might not like the two flights of stairs up to the front door and the stairs in the property.
- Sarah (8/5): Great central apartment . - Perfect central location next to all the bars & restaurants. Modern & clean inside with good air con in bedrooms only. Several flights of stairs through communal area to get to apartment. Not for people with mobility issues.
- Andreas (8/5): overall great experience, nice-tasty food, budget holidays, prepare for long walks. - the appartment is in the centre of Napoli, within walking distance to all amenities, restaurants, bars, supermarkets coffee shop etc. It is comfortably located within walking distance to almost all sites in the historical centre of Napoli.
The appartment was very nice and clean, although an old building. There is enough space for a family of 5 and even some small breakfast (crackers/jam/juice).
Luiggi was very good host great communication over whatsApp It is worth to mention that the apartment is on the 3rd floor , it's an old building and there is no elevator (keep this in mind when carrying the luggage, however Luiggi is there to help- which was very nice!). Inside the apartment there are 2x narrow stairs that leads to the rooms. For us this was not a problem but it's a useful info.
if you are planning to rent a car keep in mind that in the historic centre there is no space so you need to book your parking place and pay something extra. we've stayed one week and paid around Euro 160 to reserve parking slot
- Arto (9/5): Very clean and renewed apartment with good service from the host - It was clean, renewed while in an old building. Enough space for our 5 person family and even some small breakfast crackers/bread/juice was waiting.
Very good communication over whatsapp and we were able to store luggage for the last day which was nice service.
The apartment was very close to via Tribunal so best pizza restaurants and many shops were near.
Note that the apartment is in 3 levels so inside the apartment there are 2x narrow stairs. For us this was not a problem but good to know. As in many old buildings, there is no elevator. Climbing to the 2nd floor was almost the top of the building.
We got help in carrying our luggage which was very nice!
- Nathalia (7/5): Good - We really liked the central, convenient location. Although small, the apartment was a perfect depiction of the local culture.
- Kyriacos (5/5): Passable - Very nice area To go to the room you must walk around 50 stairs.
- Inês (8/5): calm - The locatiom, cleaningless and facilities. The host was friendly and available. Although he was confused because we booked 2 rooms and only 1 was prepared for us, after showing proofs of booking 2 rooms, the second one was promptly prepared. The outside of the building is very degradred, but I guess all the streets are like this in the central area. We had stairs to the appartment and stairs whithin the apartment, for the rooms. The stairs were narrow and the roof was low. But everithinh wa very cleaned and recently renewed.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Great location as you're steps away from Via dei Tribunali with all its pizza restaurants, Napoli Sotteranea and other sites within the historical center of Naples. Supermarket nearby if you require groceries. And within 10 mins of two metro lines.
- Scholes (8/5): Very good - Location, 2 minutes from the main street full or restaurants, bars, shops and takeaway street food. The apartment was newly furnished with very comfy beds and spotlessly clean. It was v quiet as was an inward facing place over courtyard. Apartment very secure Quite a lot of steps, fine for us but those with mobility problems or small children may struggle. Lack of lounge space/comfy seating and v small balcony, but typical for the type and age of the property
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cassandra (5/5): Clean and neat apartment in Centro Storico. - Luigi was a very attentive host, always ready to help. The apartment was right in the middle of Centro Storico, very close to lots of cafes and casual restaurants. It was very neat and well presented. Large suitcases would be really difficult in this apartment: it’s a big staircase to get up to it (with no lift) and more stairs inside which are also very narrow. We struggled to fit our family of 5, particularly the two tall people (6’3” and 6’4) who continually hit their head going up and down the internal stairs. The kitchen was too small to convert into an eating area for us. This apartment would definitely suit a young couple or single person much better.
- Lovro (10/5): Exceptional - Location...in the city centre, nice apartment with balcony, spacius rooms enough for 5 people. Luigi was really Friendly, helpful and attentive host. The only minus is a small kitchen..if there is 5 people it's crowdy.
