- Jan (10/5): Aussergewöhnlicher Aufenthalt in toller Gegend, gekrönt von einem fantastischen Frühstück - Bereits bei der Ankunft wurden wir überaus herzlich und gastfreundlich von Ruben empfangen und bestens über die Region informiert. Wir wurden zudem kurzerhand in eine grössere Höhle einquartiert als die, welche wir gebucht hatten. Somit hatten wir zusammen mit unserer 8-jährigen Tochter mehr als ausreichend Platz. Die Höhle war sehr gemütlich und auffallend sauber. Alles war sehr gut gepflegt und in Stand gehalten. Vor allem die grosszügige private Terrasse und der Essbereich im Freien waren ein Traum und sehr liebevoll angelegt. Eines der Highlights war ohne Frage das Frühstück, welches uns jeden Morgen von einer ausgesprochen netten Dame auf einem liebevoll angerichteten Tablett gebracht wurde. Leider war eine Verständigung unmöglich da wir kein Spanisch sprechen, aber nichtsdestotrotz war der Umgang herzlich. Das Frühstück bestand aus frischem Orangensaft, frischem Obst, Käse und Wurst, Joghurt und frischem Baguette und Gebäck. Es liess wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Es fiel uns ausgesprochen schwer, die Bardenas nach drei Nächten zu verlassen und haben den Aufenthalt in den Cuevas überaus genossen.

- Pieter (5/5): Het enige ontgoochelende verblijf van onze reis (van de 7 verblijven in totaal). - De cuevas zijn goed gelegen om de Banderas Naturales te bezoeken. En die zijn zeker de moeite. Cuevas ligt in een zeer rustige omgeving. De kamer (of "appartement") is zeer ruim en lekker koel, zonder airco. Goede bedden en prima douche. Slapen in een grot klinkt leuk, maar bleek ons ding niet te zijn. Je voelt je snel ingesloten. De muffe reuk helpt ook niet om je er thuis te voelen. Onze grootste ontgoocheling was de toch wel erg basic inrichting en service die de hoge vraagprijs van 215€/nacht absoluut onwaardig was.
