• Emory (1/5): Absolutely Awful - Everything was bad except the location The rude the reception. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, rock hard mattresses and pillows. Very depressing hotel.

• Tarek (2/5): - It is old and vintage They have changed my booking to another place without getting back to me. And I paid for a sea front view , my room was side view, not what I expected at all. And they didn’t offer any convenient solution and I had to stay in the room because I was exhausted.

Кровать слегка коротковата, но и моим высоким ростом удавалось высыпаться. Почему-то на время пропадала полностью вода в санузле. Как позже я выяснил, есть специальный переключатель для воды. Может дело было в том, что он был выключен. Сложно сказать.

• CHENHUI (5/5): 只能说一分钱一分货吧。如果对房间整洁程度有一定要求的话，不建议住。 - 这家只能说主打性价比吧，确实很便宜😌。 地理位置很好，周围很繁华，楼下就有很多很棒的咖啡店、甜品店和餐厅。 推开窗就是广场和大海，👍很美！ 我们住的是最里面一间，房间非常老旧，还不干净，这是最令人难以忍受的一点。 隔音也不佳，楼下大街上的声音、隔壁房客的动静都能听到。 前台的工作人员人挺好，但都不会英语，碰到问题沟通起来非常困难。退房那天本想寄存行李，吃个午饭再回来拿，结果要钱🥲。

• Jose (1/5): Bad - Nothing BECAREFULL! Is not the real location, after you booking he send you the real location who is 45 min driving of the booking location. In a really bad neighborhood. And he don't do returns of the money. Not just that. The apartment have BEDBUGS!!! terrible experience
• Rui (10/5): Perfect location and cheap price - Very classical and clean. Friendly and kind stuff. Very well managed. The best hostel in Alexandria. They also give you shampoos, towels, and a toilet paper. It didn’t bother me but they play music in the night.

• Marcus (9/5): Welcoming Hotel in excellent location. Good base to explore Alexandria and recreate in afterwards - Very friendly staff, welcoming and helpful. Exceptional location, close to several must visit sights, Alexandria Corniche Waterfront Promenade as well as local shops & supermarkets. Spacious rooms, quiet at night.
• Oday (1/5): Bad - The room was very dirty and hot , plus it was full of cockroaches everywhere plus water in the bathroom wasn’t hot so you can’t take a proper shower

• Flavia (1/5): Bad - The only good thing of the hotel is the location and the fact they have a lift The hotel hygiene and safety conditions are not acceptable and they don't meet minimum standards. On the first day I arrived in this hotel, I entered my room, it was old and dirty. As I tried to open the wardrobe, the wardrobe door literally fell on my head, I have a broken leg so it was difficult for me to avoid the door falling on me, I had to quickly jump backwards with only one leg and I almost fell on the floor trying to do that. I raised the issue with the reception and they refused to give me a refund for the trouble and the incident they just offered me a different room. The other room was smaller, very dirty, the wall was falling off and the sink in the room was out of order so I had no water in my bedroom. The wardrobe was very old and missing the handle so I could not even open it to put my clothes inside. In general the conditions of the rooms are almost less than acceptable, old and decrepit rooms with no air conditioning or any facilities like kettle, fan or tv in working order. The toilet is shared and is incredibly dirty, the toilet bowl is broken and has grey and black stains that were not removed during my 3 day stay. I took a shower in the bath and the bath was so dirty that I had to shower keeping one leg and foot elevated for fear or catching an infection with all that dirt and germs. Also the stuff is very rude and unprofessional, I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, the check-out was at noon and all the three mornings I was woken up by the manager or receptionist knocking hard and repetitively at my door around 9am and 10 am in the morning. They didn't let me sleep in the morning or neither of the 3 days, I asked the staff why the woke me up every morning by knocking loudly at my door and they did not give me a reason, explanation or even apologise for the behaviour. I obviously asked for a refund at the end of my stay, as on the last day I paid more than 600 egp pounds for a old dirty room with broken sink, wall and wardrobe.

• Shunyi (9/5): Superb - Cheap. Good location. Nice stuff who told me how to take a minibus to Moharem Bek station. The faculty is a little old and the elevator is old-fashioned. But the price is here, I don't think it is a big deal.

• Hadil (2/5): Worst night in Alexandria - Good location Insects in the whole room and especially on the beds. We couldn't sleep at all so we left at 4 AM. Asked the night guard if he could spray insect repellant but he didn't have any.

• Sebastien (8/5): I definitely recommend Clement's Hostel for those who are planning a budget accomodation. - The staff was really helpful and tried to communicate as much as possible in English. They agreed that I leave my bag after checking out while I was visiting the city. The location is perfect as it is close to the railway station (ca 15 minutes,), within the old center and the sea, as well as all monuments in the center. You can find a smack bar or a coffee with shisha in the next vicinity. The atmosphere is charming as well as entering the building, as inside, both in the lobby and the room. The place is spacious, as well as the room (I was in number 6 just in front of the reception) It is true that the bed is a bit hard (although this is not always a disadvantage. Also pay attention to the fact that there is an additional blanket in the cupboard) and that the bathroom was a bit old, but please remember what are the costs. This is a hostel in an old building with a budget price.
