• Erik (9/5): Very nice host which provided everything we needed! - Host was extremely nice, room was very comfortable, and anything we needed was provided, along with assistance on traveling around the area! Did see a gecko inside once, but some of these things are inevitable in those parts of India!
• John (9/5): A nice place to stay - It was basic but clean and close to the monument. The area around was quiet and peaceful off the road. The owner friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything . Sometimes a little too much in your face. The food was nice was stayed here two nights and eat our meals here. We didnt like being stood over every time we had food it was uncomfortable. Don’t like being asked to leave tips shortly after our arrival. Tips are at the discretion of the guest,and if the service is good will be administered like we always do. To ask it not polite and rude. I noticed a party of Indian nationals left and would be interested if they went through the same dialogue. Don’t think it’s right to ask us to give our stay 10-10 this should be our choice and not be pressured into doing so .He even WhatsApp me days later asking for 10-10 This stay gets good ratings on bookings website but how many people have been pressured to giving top mark which could falsify the figures.
• Harish (10/5): Excellent Stay - The property was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The owner was extremely kind, helpful, and genuine. He guided us well on visiting the Taj Mahal and other nearby attractions, and even helped arrange rickshaws and cabs without any extra charges, unlike many others who take commissions. He also assisted us with booking our Taj visit, which was very helpful as we were not aware of the process. Home-cooked food arrangements were an added bonus. Overall, an excellent stay. NA
• Guy (9/5): - Enjoyable stay with good facilities at a great value. Host was very kind and helpful. Location was convenient, not too far from major attractions and restaurants. Located in a newly developed neighborhood, so the surroundings are still fairly rustic with neighbors raising cattle.

Всегда можно было заказать еду, постирать вещи и обратиться по любым вопросам. Изначально бронировал на 2 ночи, но в итоге остался еще на 8 дней. Мне даже предложили улучшенную комнату Одно из лучших мест, где я останавливался - не только в Индии :)

He went out of his way to help me and make my feel at home. What ever I needed he was there to help me. If you are looking for a place with the e tra personal touch I would highly recommend Sunrise. Its not plush but it came in on budget and served my needs. The detail on cleanliness could be improved but maybe that is just me

Très propre et le déjeuner était très bon. Endroit excentré du centre, mais ça en vaut la peine pour la tranquillité. L'endroit était reculé du centre, pas de bruit de klaxon toute la nuit, ça c'est cool en Inde ! Cependant, il y avait des fermes aux alentours, un peu de bruit avec les chiens et les vaches, c'était sympathique ☺️

The host is very welcoming and provides a good service making sure his guests needs are met.I loved that the chef cooked for me according to what i wanted.Meals were tasty and varied.All my transport needs were arranged at a very good price. Spacious comfortable room with good bed that garanteed a good night's sleep. Value for money. There was nothing to complain about.

• Tobias (10/5): Great place to visit Agra - The staff is amazing. They really take care that you feel comfortable and answer all your questions immediately. The room was clean and I tried breakfast and dinner there. The chef cooks really well and the ingredients are always fresh. You can also walk to the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. It's just 15 minutes away. I highly recommend this place.

Близко от Тадж Махала пешком минут 15-20. Если вы приехали в декабре то рано утром не идите в Тадж Махал, будет туман и ничего не видно.

• Daniele (10/5): relaxing and confy stay at sunrise - Ravi is a very good host. a nice person to spend sometime with, available and helpful for all the things i needed. the room was comfortable and spacious. the property is a homeatay and is non in the caos of the tourist area, and this makes you feel the experience more authentic. the taj mahal is very close. from the property you walk 15 min and can take the golf car for free to get to visit the taj. very convenient. there is a nice terrace to enjoy the sun and the view (also to dry your clothes of need to wash it). if i ever come back to Agra i will stay there again

• Danilo (10/5): Soggiorno perfetto! consigliatissimo - ABHIJIT GUPTA è stato un ospite eccezionale, ci ha accolti come fossimo dei vecchi amici, ci ha preparato un'ottima cena ed è stato sempre attendo ad ogni nostra esigenza, Abbiamo avuto la necessità di cambiare la camera e non ha avuto nessun problema a spostarci in un'altra camera. Ha organizzato per noi un tuk tuk per l'intera giornata ad un costo assolutamente ragionevole. Le camere sono pulite e ben tenute, la guesthouse si trova in piena campagna leggermente spostata rispetto alle strade principali per cui non si sentono i classici e ripetuti schiamazzi dei clacson. Il personale è gentile e discreto, direi uno dei migliori alloggi nei quali siamo stati in queste due settimane di Rajasthan niente in particolare

Location is 13min walk to the Taj Mahal East Gate where you get on the complimentary shuttle bus to the Taj. Hot water and WiFi all working well. Homemade food is fresh and tasty. Great value.

• Mickaël (10/5): Super endroit ! Accueil chaleureux ! - Abhijit a été adorable et rassurant sur Agra et l’Inde en general. Il nous a donné plein de bons conseils pour que notre de jour se passe au mieux. L’ensemble peut paraitre rustre venant de France, neanmoins nous nous y sommes senti a merveille. Les lits étaient comfortable et les chambres tres propres. Énorme plus, il est possible de manger sur place des repas traditionnels delicieux ! Ce homestay n’a rien à voir avec les hotels pour touristes que l’on a pu faire auparavant, allez-y les yeux fermer ! Un grand merci Abhijit et a bientôt ! 🙂 La rue en arrivant ne donne pas très envie mais il faut dépasser cette apprehension, une belle experience de vie vous attends derrière !

The food was amazing and freshly cooked - so you don't mind waiting for it to be prepared. Everything was wonderful. For some feedback, possibly some sort of clothes hanging facility i.e. wardrobe or collection of clothes hangers.

The room is a good size, very pleasant with the air conditioning and warm water for showing.
• Michael (10/5): Excellent stay in Agra - From the moment of Booking everything was excellent. Communication was prompt and thorough. The homestay is in a quiet part of town and perfect for sleeping, yet close to everything one comes to Agra for. It’s walking distance to the Taj Mahal and most of the area attractions, or a quick and inexpensive tuk tuk ride which they will call and arrange for you if you don’t want to walk out and hail one. A/C and fan kept the room a perfect temperature and there’s always a nice breeze on the rooftop which has a view of the Taj Mahal. Chef Simon made us an amazing breakfast each day and fantastic dinners, so no need to go out for food if you don’t want. Free purified water and excellent wifi made for an ideal accommodation. The owner Abjihit went out of his way at every opportunity to make sure we had not only everything we needed, but everything we wanted. Felt more like staying with good friends than in a typical guesthouse. The only downside was we didn’t have time to spend a few more nights!

Chatted to local farmers and the staff in the street, was really nice vibe surrounded by farm workers. Taj view, it looks far but an easy walk to electric tuk tuk point that takes you to the gate. Food, tea, air con all good and a nice price for a good size room. In summer a fridge for water bottles would be nice.

• Lisa (8/5): Comfortable stay - The room was spacious and clean. It had a table and two chairs, so you have a place to sit apart from the bed. For what you pay, this really is a great room. The bed was super comfortable! Card payment is possible, which isn't always the case in India. They have a rooftop restaurant with view of the Taj Mahal, but we only went upstairs late in the evening once, so I can't comment on the food or the view during the day. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our room and I ended up with quite a few bites. Even though it's not far from the Taj, it feels a little in the middle of nowhere. Tuktuk drivers had difficulties finding the place and we had to guide them via map. Common areas could be a little more welcoming.

• Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean, great hot shower, AC working perfectly, wifi superfast (we managed to do a lot of backup), and nice and cheap breakfast. We definely would come back
• Renata (8/5): Good hotel - The bed was really bid and everything was clean. The shower was good and hot, which is a plus in India! The meals we had were delicious too. The surroundings were a bit sketchy, although not dangerous. Maybe they should work on the cleaness of the streets they are at, that would give a much better impressions

• Jordi (8/5): Rural homestay with all facilities - Overall, my stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The facilities were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. They provide food which is also good value. However, my only complaint was the noise level at night. The noise came from the ground floor which I think Some Indian people are living and working. Despite this inconvenience, everything else was excellent and I enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers, but I would suggest taking into account this noise issue for those who value a quiet night's sleep. The way to reach the hotel is quite curious the first time you arrive. Full of goats and caws but no complain about that.

• Jess (5/5): Promising stay, but we had some problems with our room specifically - Friendly and very accommodation staff, helped us with a tour through Agra with a very friendly tuktuk driver, helped us booking a private car to Jaipur. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood close to the Taj Mahal to easily catch an early mesmerizing Taj sunrise! Good fresh food prepared for us even though we arrived late in the evening. Unfortunately our room had a serious humidity and mold problem. Very moldy pillows, fungus/molt in all the walls and ceiling. There is no way that the humid from the bathroom could escape, and due to a small window/hole in the upper wall in the bathroom, the neighbours bathroom plus its humidity was also connected to our room, which made it even worse. Couldn't get the humid out of the room with the drying and/or cooling function air conditioning either. On top of that, our toilet didn't flush properly. Staff was helpful with this, but it didn't get solved and we had to re-ask them for their help after going to the toilet - not a nice question to ask for multiple times. We booked two nights but I got sick from the humid and molt after one night, and we decided to leave early. Promising place, but this mold problem is dangerous and needs to get solved.
• Sebastian (8/5): Ideal accommodation for a fair price close to Taj Mahal - Convenient location for visiting Taj Mahal. Fair pricing, clean rooms. You can everything from other rooms, so don’t expect a long night if you are a light sleeper. But you can not expect that for that price. Location is rural, but interesting.
