- LIZ (8/5): Shower had good pressure. Shame it was in the spa and it did not work - Great outdoor area and crockery/appliances
Terrific entertainment and games provided
Comfy beds Internal steps
Toilet door did not shut
Ashtray at back of house was not cleaned
- Michael (10/5): Was just a quick visit and was so much nicer than staying at a motel. Great value for money. - Charming and comfortable No complaints. It was great and would stay again
- Janette (10/5): we had a great time - very well equiped . condiments and special gifts . totally recommend. very good for our dogs nothing
- Alan (10/5): A 3 bedder modcon beauty with vintage touches. - Well presented, mod cons, comfy beds, coffee machine / / / . Vintage sound system a timeless joy. TV's everywhere, and they all work as they should. C+C have meticulously curated + presented this place for a memorable stay in the town where the "Big Australian" was founded. All is well on Williams.

- Brian (10/5): - Enjoyed decor of the house and the fact that it had all the facilities we needed Great house to stay whilst visiting Broken Hill Nothing comes to mind
- Donna (8/5): Cosey, warm, well appointed and clean home away from home. Thanks for having us in your home. - This property had loads of things to make our stay comfy. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cook meals. Loads of DVD's, records and board games for entertainment. The treats on arrival were a lovely surprise! It was clean and well appointed. We liked being able to park off the main street. The BBQ outside was not serviceable. We ran out of hot water after 3 showers. The street noise is there but to be expected given the location.
- Denise (9/5): Superb - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Gem. We loved the welcoming package. Although we were expecting a little something, we were pleasantly surprised with it.
We experienced some very cold weather while we were there but were always warm and very comfortable inside the cottage.
Even though the cottage is on a major road in the region, i.e., the Barrier Highway, we didn't have any issues with traffic noise. We slept in the front bedroom and slept very soundly on very good mattresses. It may have just been us but we found locking the front door a bit cumbersome.
- Graham (9/5): Fantastic value accommodation - Superb well equipped home for a comfy stay A little far from the action
- Graeme (10/5): Fabulous and when next here would make sure that this place is available - Absolutely everything, this place is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone
- Pablo (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly and a lot of games, dvd’s and tape’s.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Great stay on Williams. - The property was in an excellent location and the house was wonderful. You didn’t want for anything. Beds very comfortable. The only thing that we found difficult was the shower over the spa, 3 elderly ladies, it was a little bit hard to get in. But we managed.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - Off street parking and the size of the house.
- Abby (10/5): We had a beautiful stay and will definitely be back! - Spa jets didn't work .
- Lionel (10/5): One of the great stays (4 nights) on our five week trip and is highly recommended. - Fantastic welcome pack, great facilities, very comfortable. The floor unevenness into the kitchen took a little getting used too but was ok once you did.
- Leigh (9/5): Superb -
- Graeme (9/5): Superb - Lovely house, well appointed, comfortable, extensive DVD collection and entertainment options, off road secure parking, great yard for the dog, provisions were available - extra nibbles and bottle of wine was very welcoming and a nice touch. Suggestions would be to include instructions on how to use the cook top and to let guests know about the laneway entrance.
Property is in a noisy area being on main road but that can't be helped by owners.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Thank you for a relaxing stay in your very comfortable home. - We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property. It has been very thoughtfully renovated and tastefully furnished and styled. Everything we needed was supplied and then some! We were greeted with a lovely welcome surprise from our hosts. I would absolutely recommend this ‘little gem’ to other visitors to Broken Hill. And… we could have our fur baby with us, always a bonus! N/A
- Elizabeth (8/5): Absolutely will be back. Home away from home! - The styling was beautiful & the small details of games, music, dvd was outstanding Spa bath didn’t work & couldn’t close the toilet door due swelling in the frame.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb - Well equipped & comfortable Couldn't get the DVD player to work - minor inconvenience
- Linley (9/5): Pleasant Broken Hill stay - It was welcoming and restful as soon as you walked in the front door. Little things like a welcome pack and breakfast cereals plus milk and sauce ,salt, pepper, etc, those things you don't necessarily bring with you. Really appreciated those touches. Recommend the stay. A couple of maintenance issues, which I'm sure they are aware of.
- Jenny (9/5): Superb - Perfect for families Traffic noise
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (7/5): The house was very clean and overall a pleasant stay. - I was travelling with a friend who uses 2 crutches to get around, there was no mention of difficulty of access for someone with disabilities. There should be warning tape on the small steps up/down into the kitchen area they were hard to see and dangerous for even an able bodied person If there were instructions on how to access the house from the rear, that would have helped with unloading the car etc.
Overall the house itself is beautifully presented and clean. We did enjoy our stay and the house was close to everything.
- Kay (9/5): Great location and roomy. Enjoyed the DVD selection and the books about the area was a nice touch. Was as on A32 road to - Williams Street a bit noisy, my fault for not checking location of the property
- Lance (9/5): Very comfortable and restful. - Good continental breakfast for both adults and children. There was a trip hazard going into kitchen which caught us by surprise initially but we soon got accustom to it.
- Owen (8/5): Very good -
- Wanaja (8/5): Too bad they have not taken care of great place. - Lovely large house beautifully designed and decorated. Toilet is in one place and the rest of the bathroom is at a different place. No facility to wash your hands.
Place has not been given the attention it needs. spider webs are everywhere and very dusty.
- Jaclyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonie (8/5): Very good - Great
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (8/5): Great Spot - It was a charming place. Lots of room, and a selection of books, games etc
Pet Friendly.
Also a bottle of wine, with snacks for arrival, and cereals and wafers for the morning.
And having a wash machine and dryer was Fabulous!
If that way again, would definitely stay! I personally had no complaints, great value!
- Diane (9/5): Superb - All Nothing
- Susanne (4/5): After finding out that day of arrival about the aircon not working not good 😡 - Beds comfortable
Spa was nice Being told on day of arrival that the air conditioning was not working, and that it was going to be installed on Tuesday, their was workers all over the place and ladders, cable's, dust, parts of ceiling everywhere ,we had to sit outside in the heat 😡.
The cleaners had left just before I got there and the outside tables were very dirty, ash trays just tipped out but not washed, outside chair was broken, dust still on furniture, bugs and dust on window edge's, so the house wasn't the cleanest.
I was told not going to be too hot so we should be fine without aircon, not the case and given one fan and honestly there was way too many pillows, cushions and throw rugs on the beds and what's with all the vases of flowers on the bedside tables and picture frames I was afraid I was going to knock them off in the night.
Trucks kept use awake at night .
- Ian (10/5): Excellent. - “I had an amazing stay at the place! The apartment was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay!”
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (7/5): we where there for a funeral - there was no airconditioning, admittedly there was a power outage for some of the time, but when we did have power no airconditioning
- John (9/5): Great property, great facilities, great hosts. Worth staying at, you won't be disappointed - This is my second visit to Little Gem on Williams. Both times I have enjoyed my stay and cannot speak highly enough of the hosts and the facilities they provide at the property. Everything met my expectations
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meg (10/5): Home away from home - It was great to walk in and feel so relaxed as if it were home. A beautiful house that had a great atmosphere, spacious, comfortable beds, and many modern touches. Highly recommended! My only fault would be that the jets in the spa bath were not working.
- Cameron (6/5): Pleasant -
- Cinzia (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - Great facilities
- Janet (8/5): Very good -
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Lucia (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): A perfect spot for us and our fur baby to relax at for a couple whilst exploring Broken Hill - Really nicely presented with good amenities and super comfy bed. Off street parking was a bonus and plenty of space inside and out for our hound to stretch out in. Nothing really, the road noise was a little noticeable first thing in the morning but nothing that couldn’t be slept through.
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vernon (9/5): Superb - Only issue was WIFI did not work well. Appears it could have been a provider problem
- Paula (7/5): Affordable, comfortable and generous host - Good communication, extremely well priced, many thoughtful generous treats eg wine, chips, chocolates
Place is spacious , bed was comfy, a well stocked kitchen with lots of appliances & a coffee machine. Undercover parking at the back with good easy access. The gas heater was very effective heating the space. Overall a well appointed home. I have a disability and I am not very mobile. There was a large corner bath the shower was over and while it looked lovely I struggled to get into the bath due to my leg, I didn’t feel safe & had to be assisted to get out. There was nothing to hold and quite slippery. I would suggest at least a non slip Bathmat and a rail that would help a little.
The general cleaning was ok however could be more attention to detail on windows screens tracks architraves. The side gate needs attention, a bath tap fell off, dining room needs more lighting, the outside needs work, a wash basket would also be really useful. None of these things impacted on us enjoying our stay unfortunately due to the limited shower access I wouldn’t be able to visit again 😞
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Glen (9/5): Superb - The comfort , the large spaces and the extras ( treats, cds, DVDs etc.
And OS parking Couldn't access rear door as had no keys for it.....but that was only a minor inconvenience
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Plummer (5/5): Passable - Clean, modern rooms and kitchen. Good size outdoor area Gas heater doesn't work at night and has alot of fault codes.
Dining room light doesn't work so not much light for eating.
No tea towels to dry dishes.
Back gate was locked and no key to get out there for dog.
Laundry screen door does not open either to backyard.
Wifi exceptionally slow to the point of unusable.
Tried to get in contact with Owner via phone and message and no response over entire trip to help resolve some of the issues.
- Carmelo (10/5): Loved the location and we all had a lovely time and would definitely book again when in Broken Hill - The house was very roomy and had a large yard for the animals to run around in it. Liked that there was a pooper scooper for the dogs and bowls had been provided. Everything was provided cereal, milk, bread, butter, Vegemite, peanut butter, washing powder etc. I can see that the property is being improved as there was half finished projects in hand. One suggestion would be a working gas barbecue. Also there was an enclosed patio at the side that if made cat proof would be good for people travelling with a cat. These are suggestions rather than a criticism. While the bathroom is lovely the shower is not suitable for anyone who may have stability issues as they need to step up n a step and then step down into the spa bath.
- Octavia (8/5): Comfortable stay in a lovely clean house - Comfortable bed, good water pressure for a nice hot shower, stylish decor, had everything we needed, super clean.
- Alison (10/5): Wonderful family accommodation!! - Lovely presentation with added extras to make our stay more comfortable. Milk in the refrigerator upon arrival, biscuits, and wine were a lovely touch. Everything was very clean. There was plenty of room for the family. Large bedrooms and living areas. Great facilities for family accommodation in a central location. No real negatives with the accommodation, although the internet was very slow, which could impact if people need a fast connection.
- Claudio (9/5): Superb -
- Tessa (9/5): Beautiful and comfortable place to stay -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molly (9/5): A charming, family-friendly home away from home! - Unique, charming, great for families -heaps of activities to do I.e. board games, dvds, record player. Was supplied with cereal, heaps of snacks, bottle of wine, plenty of towels, bath robes. Very clean house and great amenities for young families :) Slow wifi. Bathtub/shower not great for anyone with mobility issues/ elderly due to falls risk.
- Cullen (10/5): Made work more enjoyable knowing I was going back to a good accommodation - Very clean lots of space and comfy beds
- Samantha (7/5): Clean and comfortable. - The location was great. The property was very clean on arrival. The property was well equipped and there was enough seating if you had a large group. The extras of eggs, juice, milk etc left by the host were appreciated. The couches were very comfortable. The beds were harder than we prefer. The property is dog friendly which is great but the rear gates are old with rusted locks which made it hard to keep them shut. Rear yard lawns are being established and grass was quite long.
- Maureen (5/5): Passable -
- John (10/5): Great property at an affordable price - Great property. Has everything you need. Great property met all expectations
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Clean pet friendly great response if U need to know anything Spa didn't work so bit of a disappointment but probably wouldn't have had time anyway

- Ryan (7/5): Good - Plenty was well set out nice place good spot welcoming good size backyard for the dogs The spa unfortunately not working
