- Cemal (10/5): - Friendly staff were very accommodating everything was lovely the food also was nice
- Valentina (10/5): -
- LAURA JIMENA (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Cairo with a good price - We really liked the room, it was very big, comfortable, clean, with great views. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were really trying to make our days in Cairo very special. The breakfast was excellent, with many things to try everyday and also with the best view of the pyramids 🤩
- Aleksandra (10/5): -
- Olena (10/5): - An Unforgettable Stay Near the Pyramids!
If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Giza, this is it! The proximity to the Pyramids is unreal—waking up to that spectacular view is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after exploring the desert.
What truly made our stay magical, however, was our amazing host, Nora. She is the absolute epitome of Egyptian hospitality! From the moment we arrived, she treated us like family. She gave us the best local restaurant recommendations and effortlessly organized our tours, camel rides, and transportation. She took all the stress out of our trip.
Thank you, Nora, for going above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. If you are on the fence about booking, do yourself a favor and reserve it right now! All good
- JEELANI (8/5): Decent - The room itself is clean The building and location not really great
- Anja (10/5): Es war unglaublich - Traumhafter Blick ,liebevollen Mitarbeiter, perfektes Zimmer

- Mary Jo (9/5): A great hotel for a short break. - Lovely and clean 1 bedroom apartment for family of 5. We enjoyed our time here - especially breakfast on the roof terrace. We were given an early check in which was a life saver after an early flight. Staff were friendly, attentive and super helpful although we did a DIY holiday and didn’t book any tours with them.
We used uber to get to the pyramids, GEM and Cairo which was really easy and straight forward. It is on a main road so comes with the noise - but we were so tired from being out and about all day it didn’t bother us. We walked the first evening to the Pyramids but decided it was a bit too far and crazy busy road in the evenings so we reverted to Uber which is quick and easy.
- Faisal (6/5): - The only 2 good things to mention are staff friendliness, and room size. The hotel is actually a only on floor (6th floor) rest of the building has another hotel on 5th floor , plus some residents are occuping other floors, there's no clear sign of hotel name , breakfast was very limited options and it's prepared for everyone as soon as guests arrive.
Very noisy either from front desk (which is located between the 6 rooms, or from noisy street with lots of trucks, motorbikes and smaller noisy tricycles.
Lits of dog parking and always around the hotel or near cars.
- Alina (10/5): - Absolutely everything
- Anthony (8/5): Good stay in Giza if you want a view of the Pyramids ! - Very good room clean and modern. The bed are very comfortable and very quiet room. The bathroom is amazing with a big bath.
The breakfast was very good and homemade with a wonderful staff.
Rooftop pretty good view of the pyramids ! Be careful the hotel makes a 5% tax on the total price if you are paying by card without any explanation.
The location it’s pretty far by walk from the tourist site like the pyramids or the Grand Museum and the area is not make to walk easily.
- sid (8/5): Excellent 5 days, the people were kind to us, we all got on well and had a laugh, amazing sites - We are now in our 60s and have all spent our lives travelling and living in foreign countries, we have been to Egypt twice before, this time we were taking our 20 year old daughter,We stayed for 5 nights, we wanted to be near the Pyramds, not in the city in a 4 or 5* hotel so this was perfect, not where we normally stay The breakfast was basic but fine, it is presented to you on a tray and had yogart, fried eggs, cucumber tomatoes some breads, all very Arabic, oh and some jam. We had tea and coffee, they gave us some juice as well, all in i would say it wasnt a massive breakfast but enough for us, i did ask for the eggs to be served hot rather than cold which he did. The room was clean, not as good as the photos, but it was good, and if you ask they clean it daily. We liked the staff, they will help you and are friendly, the owner is about in the morning at breakfast if you have any issues the Taxis are a rip off, use UBER to get around, taxi to the airport would be eu20 if booked through the hotel, and eu 2 yes 2 using Uber, we booked one for our arrival but if id known about UBER before getting there i have used it, we also used the TUK TUKs to get about locally which are good fun in the crazy roads to and from the Pyramids (10 min) from the inn, and very cheap, we had a good laugh with the drivers and always tipped them very well, he even took me to a beer shop for beer and red wine as most places outside the hotels dont sell it, including the restaurants, have plenty of egypt pounds for tipping and paying for small items at shops etc, we did the pyramids twice as there is too much to see on one visit, buy the tickets from the office at the pyramids for about 8 eu and also 1/2 price for students, we did a boat trip with meal in the evening on the Nile which was excellent, and the museums x2 the new one is amazing and mummy one is also excellent The eating place is on the open roof, which was very chilly in Early Jan when we were there, for some reason non of the other reviews point this out!! We had our warm clothes with us so it helped, but it was unexpected as it doesnt say anywhere in the booking or photos of the breakfast being on the roof, in the summer months i am sure it will be fine as the views to the pyramids are great, and later in the day when the sun is up its a lovely view. The front of the building hasnt been finished, but this is Eygpt and its a inn not a 5* hotel, so dont judge a book by the cover works well here, once inside it was ok, again remember where you are and the price you are paying,

- Val (7/5): What wonderful people and a beautiful stay - I travelled to Cairo on impulse for a long weekend. So I did basically no research. I’d heard some amazing things about Egypt over the years, but also some warnings about safety and comfort. So I as a solo older woman with no connections in Egypt, I decided to book a medium cost hotel with good reviews that I could safely base myself in. I didn’t set foot out of the building without a guide. But I was out all day and when in, loved looking at life below, safely from the roof top.
The hotel organised my weekend for me seamlessly. Even printing business documents for me on-site. And reshuffling my tours or cooking me food at very short notice when needed. I had an amazing time. The staff and the tour guides they found me were so cheerful, kind and knowledgeable. I drilled them all non stop for information on history, culture, the current state in the Middle East, gender equality, etc. Their answers were deep and enriching. What I got for my dollar was amazing. I have no idea how this compares to other accomodation options, or tour options, but I can say I loved every minute and felt so safe and valued throughout.
The hotel exceeded my expectations (I’m a budget traveller backpacking for 6 months, so tend to stay in very low cost hostels or share a home with others, so this was luxury to me - but still well within my budget). However, low cost travel is not for everyone. Nor is travel in the Global South. So expectations must match accordingly. Cost of living is high in Egypt for the residents, and prices for tourists are low in comparison. So fretting over the odd pound wasn’t for me.

- Fatima (10/5): Honestly the best experience and value for money. The staff were amazing, polite, friendly and welcoming. We were upgrade - We were a group of four and got upgraded to a large room with a separate lounge and balcony with the most breathtaking view of the pyramids of Giza. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and there was enough storage space. The staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming and attentive to our every needs. I didn’t have any dislikes.
- Karol (10/5): - The facility has an elevator and a rooftop patio. The room facing the street is a bit noisy.
- Li (10/5): - Hamodi was exceptionally warm and professional, always going above and beyond to ensure guests felt well taken care of.
Gamal kindly recommended local attractions and even gave us a thoughtful little gift.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop while taking in the breathtaking panoramic view of the Pyramids made the experience truly memorable. Nothing
- Mohammad (10/5): Spectacular view about the pyramids, very nice authentic breakfast, stag was super friendly and helpful especially Ahmed - Good facility ,hospitality, good locations
Bit surprise by the entrance of the building, was not encouraging but the room is very nice, as the photos
- Frances (7/5): - - Very friendly and accommodating staff Ahmad, Noor and Abdou!
- Nice spacious rooms, good location and view
- Iconic roof deck view of pyramids - Smoking inside the building, litter at the roof deck and entrance
- Satvinderpal Singh (10/5): The hotel team were very helpful with all request, including guide and transport. - Great view for the pyramids, and big and comfortable room for a family. Nothing
- Satvinderpal Singh (10/5): The hotel team was really helpful during my stay! - Great location, great size room foa a family Nothing
- Iman Pi (2/5): Not a good stay - The staff was kind and handsome. The location stated in Booking.com is incorrect and is actually in another street, which leads to selecting this hotel when it is not in the claimed location. moreover they have only one resteurant on roof with veiw of Pyramids. but the weather is awful and the air pollution was too bad which we cannot breath and then we had to have our breakfast there... so bad experience, Also the location is not good for a family with childeren and although they tried to make the rooms clean, but the facade of the hotel is not what you expect to see in the first entery see image below and also the door of WC which is located in the room cannot be closed. the room must have a view of Pyramid and we paid for, but it has only a very small window in the corner of the room with not a nice view....

Totally worth the every penny of your money.
Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.
- Jelena (10/5): - The view and feeling to be in the modern time but watching something special and old like a pyramids in front of you.
Someone who traveled a lot around the world, and expesally in Egypt for me the most important is that stuff is friendly and cleanness of apartment or hotel rooms, this one have both.
- Valentina (9/5): Wonderful view of the Pyramids - The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable – waking up with the Pyramids of Giza right in front of your eyes is an unforgettable experience.
A special thanks to the staff, who were incredibly kind and friendly. Always smiling, attentive, and ready to help with anything — they truly made us feel at home.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy an unforgettable experience in front of one of the most stunning sights in the world!

- Abdul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emad (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Best rooftop view - The hostel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. Temo and Nora organized fantastic tours that made our trip unforgettable — from local sights to cultural experiences. Highly recommended! Nothing at all
- Yuting (9/5): very nice - The owner is very warm and friendly. We arrived at 8 o'clock and checked in early after communicating with the owner. There will be a hot breakfast every day, and they are very happy to help travelers! You can directly see the pyramids from the room and balcony, the scenery is very good and makes people feel happy!
- Sinead (10/5): Highly recommend - Great location close to the pyramids and other destinations so didn’t have to drive for hours every day. Roof was furnished so could enjoy the view with a drink and some food. Everyone working there were really friendly and nothing seemed like too much hassle for them, booked all of our days/nights out through reception with all guides and drivers very knowledgeable and great to chat with

- Geoffrey (7/5): Good -
- Peter (8/5): Comfortable clean and easy for day trippers - Excellent location for visiting new GEM museum and The pyramids of Giza. Not a lot of choice of restaurants in local area but easy to grab an uber to get to some decent restaurants along the Nile. The hotel entrance is hard to find initially as poor signage. Warm welcome from staff and extremely helpful. The staircase and lift does not do the hotel image any favours; but once you get past them and into your room it is clear that the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in a room for 4 people with 2 large king beds. Pillows comfortable and room temperature adjustable with air conditioning. The shower was lovely with hot water. The breakfast service was very good. Typical Egyptian food- no choice but you were given a wide selection from eggs, falafel, breads, honey, fruit etc. staff very kind. The view from bedroom and rooftop restaurant was amazing- you could see the pyramids so clearly. Super photo opportunities. Would recommend for a short stop visit to Giza. Need larger towels in bathroom. Maybe consider better signage for hotel and entrance to hotel - maintenance.
- Guido (4/5): Don't ask for external activities - Spacious and well furnished rooms, amateur staff but very kind and cooperative, bathroom very small and uncomfortable (room 601) Terrible experience with the tours organized by hotel, worst experience ever in my life, new year eve dinner very very expensive, I suggest stick to the basic do not try other services as they are simple operators and they don't understand how to organize external activities and pricing them.
They want to mark up on you .
Hotel room is value for money , anything else is a robbery and very very very bad organized.
I feel sorry for the staff that has to deal with such bad management choices and attitude.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were amazing, the hotel itself had amazing views of the pyramids. Organised activities made it less stressful and overall the staff went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. Special mention to Temo their knowledge and guidance made us feel at ease
The room was very modern with all of your typical mod cons with a powerful shower, air conditioning, tea making facilities with a robe and towels provided along with toiletries Wouldn't be a case of not liking but the location itself and the area of Giza isn't the cleanest but it's to be expected when visiting Cairo. It doesn't take away from the hotel though, clean throughout!

- Ognjen94 (5/5): Honestly more like an Aparthotel - Dear Community,
I was with my friends and I was absolutely feeling safe and the staff was very kind and friendly. We were checking in late and the receptionist was waiting for us infront of the hotel.
Everybody was smiling and treating us super kind. The rooms were also clean. 1. In european terms, this is no hotel, but more of an aparthotel. It is build on the 5th and 6th floor of a building, with a mini reception and a very old elevator.
2. They serve breakfast on the rooftop, which is nice, but totally looking wasted, should be renovated or slight honestly in a better shape.
3. The breakfast is prepared and cooked at the bar and then served. I think there is no kitchen or something.
4. You are not near the pyramids for walking to them by foot, you need to get an Uber or Careem.
5. With all those terms, I think the price is just to much, we payed around 70$. You are probably better off with hotels infront of main pyramids entrance (as example - Great Pyramid Inn).
I am aware this is Egypt, but still
- Abu (6/5): Pleasent but could have been better - If you want to stay somewhere close to the Giza Pyramid with the budget in mind, this is maybe the perfect place.
But I have to say, every single person working here (apart from one) is helpful, courteous and polite.
We managed to meet the owner and his daughter Nora on our last day. Nora was really friendly and genuinely interested in our trips.
The best thing in my room was I could see the pyramid and fireworks before going to bed. Out of this world. We had three rooms booked in for 6 of us for 4 nights. One was the Royal suite with the Pyramid view.
The first night, after checking into the rooms, we found out that only one towel was provided in each room and not all of them were bath towels, some of them were hand towels. We had to request for towel every night after we came back from the tour each night. Occasionally if we were lucky, we got hand towels, someone even gave us a bath mat instead of towels once. Once we were told abruptly that by someone, there were no towels.
On the first night, my daughter called me from her room that her bed was broken when she went to lie down. I went to the room with the night receptionist in charge and found that the bed slate had moved somehow. So I have to rearrange that with the help of a kind night receptionist (Ahmed ?).
The following morning, I noticed that no hot water in the "Royal suite" bathroom sink and shower. The same receptionist switched on a button from the store room and a few minutes later hot water was available through the shower but no hot water was available in the sink throughout my stay in the Royal Suite for all 4 nights.
The place itself is middle of nowhere. No decent shop or restaurant nearby for you to explore. Cairo city center is 20 km away.
- Milica (8/5): Nice inn, close to the pyramids - Clean, specious rooms with a nice rooftop view of the pyramids. The pickup that was organized for us was great and they were really flexible with our arrival since we had a late flight. The neighbourhood is sketchy and we had trouble to find where to exchange money.
- Guillherme (10/5): Amazing - The workers attended the attendance, especially the manager Ahmed, who helped me with nice hints, including the cake for my wedding birthday.
Since the reception was done by the other employee (also called Ahmed) until the checkout all was perfect.
- Amil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Naquibulla (8/5): Very good -
- José (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alessandro (6/5): Good Terrace, no fair offers for tour visit - Terrace with Pyramids view, sunset is special Tour offers, as they try make a deal with very high prices. My suggestion is to arrange transportation (Uber or Taxi) and Tour guide by yourself to ensure you pay the fair amount of money for the service offered.
- Thaqiya (10/5): Everything was lovely. Highly recommend. - The property was well managed and clean. All facilities mentioned were provided. The terrace was beautiful and offered a lovely view of the pyramids. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ahmed and Nora were excellent hosts. Enjoyed my stay.

- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel staff was super friendly and helped us with absolutely everything. Super recommendable place. The view from the terrace is amazing. 10/10. Many thanks to the owner and the person who greeted us as soon as we arrived at the hotel where they got us food at 1:30am. Wifi need to get better 😁
- Cibelly (10/5): Absolutely amazing! - Everything, the location, the staff and the environment!
A huge thank you to Ahmed and Nora and the rest of the staff who were so kind and accommodating, it was overwhelming to be received with such warmth!
Highly recommend and hopefully I can come back! Nothing - if I could just give a little suggestion to offer daily cleaning services, however other than that the place is great!
- Sandeep (10/5): Exceptional, the perfect location. - Perfect location and service, breakfast was amazing the local foods are worth a try.
Staff are great and very friendly.
I hope to stay at palm view again.
They also can arrange tours! Us coming home, we really miss the company at palm view, it’s beautiful and safe.
- Peter (10/5): Excellent base in Giza - Staff were always helpful even at 3 in the morning when we arrived. Breakfast was excellent with a great view of the pyramids.
- Shaeann (8/5): Would rebook again - Very accommodating staff who were available whenever we needed help. Very lovely view of the pyramids. The breakfast could be better. Not well explained
- Tywina (9/5): My stay was wonderful. I will most definitely return - The staff was very nice and hospitable. I loved my accommodations and the view. Only thing that I didn't like is that they don't give you clean towels daily
- Green (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location for a view of the pyramids. Highlight was breakfast on the rooftop each morning! Rooms are massive we got upgraded to the room with the bath and it was beautiful 😍 They were doing some renovations next door which got a little noisy but we were warned out the work.
- Alaa (10/5): Value for money - Staff are very friendly and helpful. Noura made our day happy!!!!
The view from the roof was amazing, the room very clean and comfortable
The street wasn't nice at all but the hotel was great
Thank you for all ur effort to make our stay happier The area around the hotel is very old and it was under construction.
- Nidhi (8/5): Comfortable stay with a great pyramids view - We enjoyed our stay at palm pyramids view inn in what was a spacious quadruple room for us and our two boys. Tamer, Ahmed and Nora were all quite friendly and warm and accommodating of our requests. They helped with the luggage, and to organise day trips and airport pick ups and transfers. They were also able to resolve an issue with the room quickly. The roof terrace view was fantastic. Cairo is a lovely city with a lot to offer. While the food tasted well, the menu could have been more value for money. The breakfast service could be smoother.
The entrance to the hotel could be improved with the rubble removed so it’s easier to walk or wait for taxi if needed.
- Amaya (10/5): Counting the days until my return - Nicest people I have ver met
