Guest Reviews
- Arshnoor Singh (10/5): Great stay, would love to visit again. - It was nice and spacious. The property was very clean and was in close proximity to all the nice vineries and had amenities like swimming pool, tennis court and a big lake. All in all it was very relaxing.
- Juliet (9/5): Thanks Yasmin it was great - Proximity to facilities Price could have been more affordable
- Ann (8/5): Pokolbin - Location snd
facilities Bathroom tiles and grout needed to be cleaned properly, the paint drips should be wiped off. The mattress was not very comfortable
- Mel (4/5): - Freezer was over frozen Soni couldn't close either properly. When I complained on line about it and the fact I couldn't turn the tv down from a hindered so I had to have it on mute, I received an email about rubbish out the front and being too loud. The rubbish I thought was pick until I seen a guy across the road from me out his, in a little red wheelie bin so I did. So it felt like an attack on me. I didn't charge them for my off meat or anything.
- Michael (4/5): Dissapointing - The location was great, good kitchen facilities. I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews, unfortunately the bed is very uncomfortable (two mattresses pushed together and both sagging quite badly) i tried the sofa bed and it was awful to unfortunately. Bathroom had lots of mould around the tiles (most likely due to there being no shower curtain - water goes everywhere when you shower). No wifi. No sound proofing- had a very loud promiscuous couple in the room next to ours and could hear everything. Your better off paying the extra $20 to book through the leisure in itself and not this privately owned villa.
- Maya (9/5): Good value for money — would book again - Clean and well presented villa. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for the types of things you’d consume in the region I.e cheeses, meats and wine! It was spacious and very light too. Good location and we were able to walk to neighbouring vineyards The sound insulation between this villa and the one next door isn’t great. There was something spilt on the side of the fridge that was missed by the cleaners and the villa smelt a bit musty on the whole.
- Jennifer (8/5): It was a good overall and in a great location. - Clean and convenient. TV remote not working
No blind on kitchen window.
Smell from bathroom floorwaste.
- Judi (8/5): Would stay again - and recommend to others. - Great location - close to Hunter Valley Gardens and Roche Estate. On site cafe for breakfast and lunch was handy - food and service was excellent. Nice pool and tennis court. Bed and couch were uncomfortable. Shower over the spa bath is not ideal - not recommended for people with mobility issues.
- Afsana (9/5): Superb -
- Tracey (8/5): Great short stay in the Hunter - Walkable to a lot of wineries and restaurants. Lots of natural light
Good for a short stay in the Hunter
- Gary (8/5): Clean and well equipped in a great location - Location Tv reception was bad (buffering)
Could hear from neighbouring property.
- Michael (8/5): We were happy with our stay and would stay again - Central location
clean and tidy
Yasmin (host) was great to deal with No lock on the bathroom door
- Michael (8/5): Great stay close to all wineries - Good spot. Close to be able to walk to wineries near the hunter valley gardens. Car or bikes required for ones further away. Would have preferred a duvet cover rather than sheets but overall was really good.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Eilen (9/5): Superb -
- Jim (8/5): was very good stay at this property and will recommend it to our friends - location, comfort, cleanliness Had to call the number provided in the booking as find out the number of the villa and to let me know the door PIN code.
Note that during holidays I do not have access to emails. Only phone and SMS.
Luckily the call was answered though 4am in the morning at Europe. and I was given the new code for keys.
Still consider lucky but it creates a bit of difficulty to get to the keys...
- Renee (10/5): excellent - Great location, facilities were very clean nothing
- Kim (9/5): Great weekend getaway - Great location, kitchen set up with all the basics, toiletries included, parking and resort facilities Beds were not super comfortable
- Graham (2/5): Disappointing, place needs a deep clean and bed replaced. Unacceptable standard. - Location is great, convenient and close wineries, gardens, pubs, food etc The bed, needs replacing, has dips, past its use by date. Extremely uncomfortable. The blanket on the bed was not clean, didn't look washed, looked like chocolate marks on it. The carpet is badly stained, some stains hidden under a rug. The first plate we picked up had food stuck on it. The lounge was extremely uncomfortable and should be on the wall where the TV is so not watching sideways. hot plates rusting, kitchen blind stained, no tissues, only one hand towel for 2 guests, dirty skirting, doors needs wiping down. Dusty pot plants, looks like nanna's house. Dirty cord to toaster. Yuck !!!
- Elissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elvis (8/5): very comfortable - centrally located nil
- David (8/5): For our needs , more positives than negative . 8/10 . - Locality was perfect for our stay . Walking distance to all our activities .
We were well pleased with the room .
What ie said below , please take as constructive critics only . Without being too negative . Whole setup very dated . Needs a good go over for the cost . Bed is in need of replacement ( has a sag ) . Lounge is not at all comfortable .
