• Begoña (10/5): - Hemos estado alojados 3 noches y la verdad es que a estado todo genial me gustó mucho que tuviera todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia cómoda hasta en un mueble tenían hamacas y sombrillas para la playa y en una cajita en la cocina gel, estropajo nuevo, pastillas de lavavajillas, de lavadora, bolsas de basura…. La verdad es qué lo recomiendo 100 ✖️100 y la Limpieza de 10. Volvería sin duda. Nada

• Tracey (9/5): Great central location - Exceptional apartment and facilities......fully stocked kitchen utensils, plates glasses etc and utility area with everything you need from washing machine to steamer and ironing facilities. Bedrooms also good with amazing mattresses, very comfortable, 1 bedroom has en-suite with both bathrooms being very well designed and great showers. The apartment also has air conditioning, which was a godsend!! Very close to town centre and beach, so very convenient to be in the hub of things instantly. Raquel is an excellent host and very quick to respond to questions and problems you may have which is a great comfort Firstly, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the owners control, the lift was out of action for the whole week we were there, due to a flood on the 3rd floor. The apartment is on the 5th floor so it meant climbing 10 flights of stairs!! Raquel arranged for our cases to be carried up on our 1st day and down on our last day thank goodness, as we are a group of old girls aged (68-70) and it would have been impossible for us to have carried them up or down, I really don't know how we would have managed otherwise. Also as it is a town centre property it is very noisy (we went end July so peak period ) in the early hours (motorbikes and loud singing) so take earplugs and you will be fine ☺️
• cobo fraga (10/5): Ubicación excelente - Hemos estado alojados 6 personas, el apartamento tiene una ubicación excelente, cerca de El Balcón de Europa, Playa Calahonda,Playa el Salon, Barco de Chanquete,Mirador de Chanquete ,un carrefour debajo del bloque ,junto a cafeterías, pizzerias, bares ,restaurantes,tiendas de ropa,souvenirs.....todo andando ,un lujo hoy en día. El apartamento muy cómodo, limpio mucha luz y sin faltarle ni un detalle ,todo lo necesario para una estancia de 10 . Aparte de las camas que son muy cómodas, tiene todo lo necesario en la cocina ,incluyendo horno,lavavajillas,lavadora.. Plancha vertical para la ropa y plancha normal . Lo recomiendo sin duda. Un consejo para los que vayáis por primera vez , una vez que tengáis aparcado el coche no moverlo, sale muy económico los taxis . Aunque la mayoría de las cosas que visitar de Nerja están cercanas al piso ,hay otras como La playa Burriana o Las Cuevas de Nerja que para ir andando es un paseito largo ,aconsejo pedir taxis , que solo te llevan 7 u 8 euros por vehículo.

• Jan (8/5): Very good, loved Nerja except the access to the apartment spoilt it - It was a great location and great for our needs and close to all facilities including beach The access to the property was absolutely appalling. In all our years of travelling this has been the worse. We spent so much time liaising with the host, hours out of our holiday. If you want easy access do not use this apartment. Otherwise everything else was perfect. Nice host

• Lilly (7/5): Beautiful apartment in perfect position too see everything you would wish in Nerja. - We loved the apartment itself, which has all the facilities you could possibly want....getting to the beach was down the road, the bakery was right there as were the shops, and amazing restraunts! The apartment has a washing machine which is brilliant with little ones and the heat meant everything was dry within an hour. The other people that live in the building were extremely friendly and welcoming and often would strike up conversation if bumped into on the way down or up to the apartment. The hosts were amazing and couldn't help more. I didn't realise the positioning of where the apartment was and did not factor in how loud this would be in peek season. It is extremely busy and unless you are out all night you will be disturbed by the noise... We also have a 3 year old who unfortunately is very dextrous and could open the balcony doors, as we were in the 5th floor this was a real concern as these could not be locked with a key and we found ourselves placing chairs in front if the door in the night as if he got up in the night this was an issue...Same with the front door as this was a press button to then be out the door.

Raquel our host was very helpful and available to help us with any questions. She gave us excellent restaurant recommendations also.

If I had to be really picky, the coffee table was a bit wobbly - we had to move it out of the way as we were travelling with a 4 year old and didn't want to break it or knock our drinks over.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely to be so near everything including taxis and buses as we had no car. Great fun. - The location was brilliant. Arrived a little late but Carrefour Express downstairs across the road was open until midnight so wecould get a few supplies! The communal areas of the building were all redecorated and looked amazing. The apartment, similarly beautifully decorated and was so clean and well equipped, plus towels and linen on beds of a high quality. We entered by phone number which worked perfectly so felt very secure. Literally a few minutes from restaurants, the beach and shops. Loved it. Silly thing. Could have done with a few more toilet rolls but we bought them so no problem.

• David (10/5): Our fantastic stay in La Esquinita de Marcos, Nerja, 2023 - The hostess Raquel was absolutely brilliant. Her communication and instructions regarding how to check in and out was perfect. The apartment was above and beyond our expectations. It was modern, bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. You've got everything you need during your stay and if you plan on cooking etc. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were really comfortable. The showers were spacious and you had plenty of towels. We were also given plenty of recommendations and tips during our stay. The system used for getting in and out of the apartment is also brilliant, no fussing around with keys etc. The apartment was pristine with fresh sheets and facilities left out for you upon arrival. The location was perfect for us. You are a 5 minute walk from the Balcon De Europa which is the heart of Nerja. Loads of shops and cafes around you so you don't have far to go for food and drink. We were so happy we chose this apartment for our stay. Everything was just brilliant. Thank you to the owners. 10/10. This isn't a complaint more of an advisory for others. Those who aren't used to sleeping in a busy built up area need to understand where you are. You are in the centre of a busy little city and you must understand there will be some noise. None from the apartment complex of course, just the streets below. Even at that it wasn't too bad. Nothing some earplugs won't help. Plus we got used to it after the second night.
• Anne (9/5): Superb - The apartment was lovely and clean. Plenty of towels and blankets etc. Lovely view from the balcony. Apartment is central to everything in Nerja : Parking, supermarket, shops, a play park and beaches all within 10 minutes walk. The hosts were lovely and very communicative throughout, which was fantastic and meant we felt at ease during our stay. Other people in the building were friendly too. Apartment is in a building in the centre of Nerja which, given the nature of Spanish culture, meant it was never really quiet at night.

• Cundall (10/5): Excellent trip made even easier by a tremendous host - The entire stay was excellent - Rachel was a brilliant host & relayed all the information we needed on arrival to ensure that our stay was comfortable and stress free. The apartment was beautifully laid out, with great space inside & a lovely balcony with tremendous views. Everything was clean & tidy & the amenities were exactly what we needed for our stay (Rachel also ensured we had a cot for our 4 month old son!). The location couldn't have been more central & we were literally just a few minutes walk to the shops/bars/restaurants, whilst just down the hill (perhaps 5 minutes walk) was the beach. A fabulous stay! The only negative of any note, is that there are quite a lot of instructions on how to use the complex and apartment door lock system. It is by mobile phone & extremely easy once you understand the instructions, but these could be daunting to some people. With that being said, Rachel was always on hand to answer any questions or queries & once you get used to the system, it's extremely safe and secure.

• Sarah (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous, would highly recommend! - We felt at home, we had every facility you would need as if we are at home in Spain, there was a mini market just across the street, a beach a few yards from the accommodation, the town was so close by. Perfect for a family stay. Pjs air con and space was 100/10 The only one thing that could have been better was a pool, but to be honest this was only because our kids were not as fond of the beach. It’s not a negative as much as an observation
• Ciaran (10/5): Great apartment, hosts and location. - Location was ideal. Centrally located in Nerja. The apartment was very spacious and clean. It had everything you need to make your stay great. The hosts were equally as great, nothing was too much for them. They responded quickly to any ask. They were extremely organized also. They ensured that everything that was needed (i.e. forms/check in) were completed in a timely manner. No key to get into the apartment as you made a call which was ideal as it was one thing less to worry about. A stones throw away from all amenities in Nerja. 5 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes from many restaurants and bars. All household appliances were provided. Will return. Nothing to report.

• Joan (10/5): We loved feeling like a local since the apartment building mostly had local residence. - The apartment was clean, bright, and cheerful. We loved the balcony, all the windows, and the location for everything we wanted to do. We needed to call a phone number every time we entered the main building and the apartment door. It was cumbersome. We prefer the personal aspect of meeting a person and having a key. Even though our contact person, Rachel, was lovely via email and Whatsapp, but it isn't the same as meeting a contact in person. It loses the personal touch.
• Steve (10/5): Exceptional property and we would recommend it to everyone! We would definitely stay here again :) - The apartment was probably one of the best that we have stayed in. Exceptionally clean and modern. Comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The check-in process was amazingly slick and our host was so helpful and welcoming. We could find no fault with this property it was exceptional.

• Sue (10/5): Nerja is such a lovely town and well worth a visit. Would recommend this apartment too especially with Raquel looking af - A lovely bright and spotlessly clean apartment in a great location. A few minutes walk to beach front and so many restaurants & great tapas bars with free tapas with every drink. Recommend going on tourist train visiting caves / museum which were amazing. Went twice to Frigliana which is a beautiful village about 20 mins away. Malaga is such a vibrant city to visit too. Raquel who takes all bookings and enquiries was so nice and extremely helpful with any queries we had and responded so quickly. Took a little getting used to getting into opening entrance door and apartment door as no key just phone numbers to call to release locks. Our group were over 60’s so slower with technology 😊 but soon grasped it.
• Philippe (9/5): nice apartment - Lovely mountain views (and you can see the sea). Very comfortable apartment, excellent location. There is no key for the front door, instead there is a strange reliance on using your mobile phone to remotely open the door. Although it worked properly for us, it's not clear how you open the door if you run out of battery, lose your phone (or forget to take it out with you) or have no signal.
• Martina (8/5): lovely apartment very safe although it was on a busy enough street very near all the amenities lovely bakery across the - clean,very secure, spacious on the 5th floor and it had a lift which was brilliant we live in the country and couldn’t get used to noise from the street early in the morning balcony across from other buildings if you weren’t used to it feels strange residential area

The appartment was very light, modern equiped. 3 separate sleeping rooms were a big plus for our big family (2 adults and 3 kids). Noise from the street and from neighbourhood during late evening / night time.

• Daryl (10/5): Couldn't recommend any more!! Do yourself a favour and book this apartment! - The location was absolutely amazing! About a 4-minute walk to the very center of Nerja. The beds were extremely comfortable - we all had amazing sleep. Super easy to find. Daniel/Rachael's communication was excellent. If you do not choose this apartment to stay in you'll be missing out. Couldn't recommend it more. We will absolutely be returning to this gem of an apartment! Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect. Super clean. Amazing location. Stylish furniture. There is nothing to complain about!
• Wilfred (10/5): PERFECT - I liked everything. The hostess Raquel was charming and very hospitable. The decoration of the apartment was superb and its location very near to the beach and "El Balcon de Europa". Just 5 mins walking distance. The rooms could do with its own TV, but not necessarily a must, and the property does not have private parking, but again there is plenty of public parking near it.
