• sugarte (9/5): Estadia por río Peñas Blancas - El ambiente rural, el contacto con la naturaleza, se observan muchas aves. La cabaña es muy comoda, el recibiendo muy ameno, nos dieron pancito casero. NA
• jeffery lauk (7/5): - Die Rühige Abgelegener standort am Leichtem Hanglage. Mit Terasse und Hängematte , hatte etwas vom Baumhaus Feeling. Von der Terasse aus ist ein kleiner Tropischer Garten mit Bach. Geko's. Erdkröten und Papegeien. Besitzer ist Super Hilfsbereit umd freundlich. Jeserzeit wieder. Passt !!! Abends gabs ca. 2 std sowas wie Hagel allerdings waren dass Riesigen Käfern die aufs Blechdach knallten..sehr laut.Natur Pür..war ein erlebnis..

• brigitte (9/5): - Accueil d'Aline, sa disponibilité et la situation géographique de la cabaña dans un cadre verdoyant et calme. La petite chambre etait confortable, la cuisine suffisamment équipée et une jolie petite terrasse avec table et chaises.

• Marie (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft, allerdings etwas abgelegen - Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit großem Balkon und Hängematte draußen. Klimaanlage (nicht selbstverständlich) Insgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Nur Barzahlung möglich. Wir haben leider erst zu spät gemerkt, dass der Wechselkurs der Gastgeberin ziemlich sportlich war, wir also etwas draufgezahlt haben. Also unbedingt mitrechnen, wenn man nicht in Dollar zahlt. Gastgeberin sprach kein Englisch. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass man zu den meisten Attraktionen 20-30 Minuten länger braucht. Küche ist etwas spartanisch ausgestattet, aber insgesamt ok

• Jamal (10/5): Perfect balance between tranquility and adventure. - The location was peaceful and felt right in nature. We stayed 3 nights in cabaña 2 but wish we could have stayed longer. The cabaña was perfect, we had breakfast on the deck every morning and could hear the creek below us, cicadas, horses and cows in the surrounding area and watched the humming birds feed in the tree beside us. The jacuzzi below the deck was private and we could fill directly with hot water ( recommend planning ahead as it is large and takes a while if you want it hot ). The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and recommended one of the hikes we took as well as a nearby restaurant for dinner. We were travelling in a Toyota 4x4 Hilux and were able to use this as a base to see all the area around us. We focused on unguided hikes and looked for anything off the beaten track. I would highly recommend this place for adventurous people who are looking to connect with nature. This was a highlight of our trip and look forward to coming back. That we couldn’t stay longer.
• Romero (10/5): Un petit coin de paradis dans la végétation luxuriante - Logement niché au milieu de la nature. Très fonctionnel et avec un super extérieur privatif… Mais la plus belle richesse de ce petit paradis est réellement les propriétaires. Surtout ne pas passer dans la région sans y dormir au moins une nuit. Nous recommandons 1000 fois sans aucune réserve.

• Brett (10/5): The perfect getaway! - Our stay was perfect here! The hosts were so friendly, great with communication and helpful! This place is the perfect get away from all the touristy areas! It’s only about a 30 mins drive from La Fortuna, which we did not mind. We enjoyed eating at all the different sodas in the nearby towns on the way to La Fortuna instead of in town! It was cozy, and we enjoyed reading outside in the evenings. You hear so much wildlife and it is very relaxing! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!
• Brad (9/5): Good value, unique experience - Bring cash. Rustic. Hosts are extremely nice. Plunge pool / hot tub is a great touch.
• Linn (10/5): Beautiful accommodation with nature and wildlife, perfect to relax :) - This was one of our favorite accommodations in Costa Rica. It’s located a little bit outside of La Fortuna and you need a car to reach it but it’s totally worth it because the area is super calm, quiet and has beautiful nature. The apartment feels like a luxury treehouse and had everything included that we needed. The owners were super sweet and made us feel so welcomed and were super helpful with questions and suggestions. They even surprised us with free fresh and warm bread when we arrived. Even though they couldn’t speak English and we couldn’t speak Spanish the communication worked super well using a translator. We saw more birds in the trees next to the balcony than we did in many Nationalparks. It even has a private hot tub outside which we really enjoyed after a long day of hiking. Thanks for this wonderful experience!
• Neli (10/5): Authentic Costa Rican experience - We loved our stay here. The place is new and well maintained. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. We saw Tucans on the trees just above the place. It is away from the tourist and very quiet. We loved the sound of the river underneath. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
