• Susie (8/5): - Location, literally next door to the train station. 10 minute walk from Hackney Central Noisy. Single glazing and on the ground floor so street noise isn't muted. Ants in the bathroom. Spoke to the owner on our way out, he was very pleasant and apologetic about the ants so he'll probably sort it out.

A list of issues have been submitted to host and via booking.com. Incredibly disappointing and not at all as advertised. I have submitted a partial refund / compensation request due to poor conditions.

• Nina (7/5): - Exceptionally convenient location, right next to the train station and a short walk to find cafes/restaurants/shops. Nice furnishings. Small flat but worked well for us as we were out most of the day. Jah was very responsive. Bring your own washing powder to use the washing machine. We were glad we brought ear plugs to sleep as the flat was quite loud with the street and train noise. Ear plugs were sufficient.
• Dean (10/5): Reasonably priced studio in a great area ran by a great host - Host was amazing , really accommodating even though I booked it late at night . Room was spotless , had towels nicely folded on the bed for your use . Even included things like shampoo , toothpaste , coffee tea , two heaters , and more Location is great Overall an excellent experience and I thank the host Jah for everything , made my weekend a whole lot easier

Heart of Hackney on your doorstep and easy to get into town. It’s small especially the shower toilet area but, not sure you’d expect anything different.

• dora (1/5): The worst experience ever with Booking - La peggiore esperienza di sempre avuta con Booking! No, non è un appartamento, ma una piccola stanza che fotografata col grandangolo sembra ovviamente più grande. No, non è vicino alla stazione ma proprio sotto il ponte su cui passano i treni tutto il giorno! No, è tutt'altro che beautiful ed è freddo e umidissimo! Il bagno non raggiunge i 2 mt² ed è naturalmente senza riscaldamento, così comodo che per un adulto di stazza media è difficile persino raggiungere e utilizzare il mini lavandino. L'altro lavandino, quello della cucina (che si trova ad un metro dal mini letto) gocciola senza sosta per la gioia di chi vi alloggia. Un lusso l'unica finestra presente (non insonorizzata, è chiaro) che, grazie al suo articolato sistema di spifferi, consente di conoscere l'esatta temperatura esterna senza nemmeno dover mettere il naso fuori. L'unità inoltre è situata al piano terra, a tre passi dal portone d'ingresso del palazzo. In questo modo, viene gentilmente offerto come bonus extra all'ospite pagante anche il frastuono della strada su cui il palazzo affaccia (Dalston Lane, non una stradina secondaria!) così come il continuo sbatacchiare del portone stesso ad ogni ora e tutte le conversazioni di chi di continuo entra ed esce di lì. Abbiam chiesto gentilmente di avere la restituzione dei costi di una delle due notti prenotate per cercare poi alloggio altrove ma non c'è stata nessuna comprensione da parte della proprietà. Non abbiamo dormito lì nemmeno una notte, abbiam buttato un sacco di soldi e dovuto pagare un albergo per le due notti londinesi che avevamo in programma. Il beatiful flat (ironia inglese, a questo punto devo supporre...) è stato per noi un vero incubo e ci ha completamente rovinato il weekend. Grazie davvero!! The worst experience ever with Booking. No, it’s not an apartment, but a tiny room that, photographed with a wide-angle lens, obviously looks bigger.

• denise (7/5): - Close to bars and restaurants. Convenient for public transport. Clean room, well equipped. Run down entrance to accommodation. The room is a lot smaller than the photos on line depict. The shower was tepid and was not able to get a channel on the TV. Quite noisy outside. However, still a pleasant stay and value for money.

• Karin (9/5): Really lovey area and cosy apartment with great communication! - This was really easy to get to, exactly as described and instructions we so clear so thank you! Such a lovely apartment, so so comfy and very easy to get to as right next to a bus stop and train station! Everyone in the area is really lovely and a lot of facilities open late too. Communication was great and clear from the start, thank you so much for our stay we would definitely come back!

• Callum (8/5): Perfect for short weekend stay! - The location for my trip was excellent. Communication from the host was brilliant and it was clean and fresh. Location is great for both overground lines. Plenty convenience shops and places to eat. Had no problems with railway line directly outside, rarely heard it. Personal preference was the bed was very uncomfortable. This didn’t take away from the overall experience though which was positive! Being picky there are a few things that were broken or faulty but again didn’t cause the experience to be negative.
• Ravi (8/5): Very good - We were a group of three and enjoyed our stay in the flat. The flat is convienently located close to the overground and nice neighbourhoods. Communication with the host was very good. Would recommend to stay at this place.
• Jennifer (9/5): Cozy and comfortable! - I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property, and I can honestly say it was really cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the overall layout made great use of the space. Location-wise, it’s in a nice neighbourhood but still close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Also the sounds of the trains running by were very doable. (I am a light sleeper) The sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable to sleep on – it was fine for a short stay or kids maybe for smaller kids, but adults might find it a bit lacking in support. Additionally, the shower head is quite old and could use an upgrade.
• Pieter (10/5): Absolutely recommendable - A very nice studio flat with a comfortabel bed end a well equipped kitchen. For being located in a city, is very quiet. Everything looked brand new and the studio was perfectly clean. The location within walking distance to the overground train station is definitly a plus. We had a most enjoyable stay. There is an excellent coffee machine. It lights be worthwile to mention that it uses Tassino coffee pods. And I need to say we had a tast morning coffee.
• David (1/5): Didn’t enjoy this property and would advise against it. - The property was located directly under an overground rail station which was very noisy and made sleeping difficult. Also on a busy road with sirens wailing regularly so we did not get much sleep. The bathroom was very small which made it difficult to get in the shower (we are not large people). Entrance to the apartment block was run down and dirty. Our booking was for five nights and we left after the first night.

• Bea (9/5): Superb - It is spacious enough for a solo traveler or a couple. The kitchen is really well equipped. if you are a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs that's the only thing. Really good price and It was very comfortable to get downtown from here. It was a bit cold inside but I had the heating on at all times and It was fine.
• Jennifer (6/5): Served a purpose but would not rebook. - It was very close to shops, pubs, station and our son’s flat. The bed was comfortable and it was well equipped. The owner gave detailed instructions and was quick to respond. It was noisy due to proximity to station and road. You need earplugs and eye masks for light coming in through curtains. The shower room was very small and quality of towels (rough to touch, thin and off white) was inexcusably poor.

It was a little hard to find, and I couldn’t open the curtains much since the flat was on the ground floor, but it wasn’t a big deal.

• Walvalla (6/5): Pleasant - The buses were right in front of the flat, therefore very easy to get around. Not long from the overground station either. Very noisy place, could almost hear everything outside. Cold flat, even though the heating equipment were on.
• Patrick (7/5): Fantastic location but…… - Fantastic location 50m from overland station and 2 stops from Liverpool St. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small, hand wash basin ridiculously small. (Wouldn’t suit a larger person). Cold in the bathroom and it was mild outside. Rough towels (need tumble drying). Not a particularly warm room and there is some Road and rail noise through the single glazed window.

• Chris (8/5): host jahural was great and helped make our stay a fantastic experience. - Great location for a night out or shopping trip with great network rail links. Pictures on website a little misleading with brightness and size. But overall great value for two nights stay in London.
• Kieron (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed our stay at the apartment, the location was perfect, right by the station for transport around London. Communication from the owner was great ahead of and during our stay, and the apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. The sofa bed was all ready and set up for our daughter when we arrived which was really helpful. Parking is not available on site however, we found a parking space a shortish walk away which could be booked online for reasonable price.

• Genevieve (7/5): Good value for money - Positive; Given the high cost of accommodation in London this flat was a good value for money. There are grocery stores nearby which are open late in the evening. The flat was very clean and equipped with a stove and microwave. The flat is next to a station which is only 15 minutes away from central London. The owner responded quickly to our requests. Being next to a train station the apartment may not be totally suitable for light sleepers.
• Heather (8/5): Very good - The location is in a fun part of town with a ton of great food and bars in walking distance. The check-in process was very easy. It's nice having the overground station right there to get you to many places and surprisingly you can't really hear it much in the room. The apartment is clean and stocked with all the things you need. Having a washing machine in the room is a great bonus too! The exterior and common areas of the building are a little rough around the edges, could use a little TLC to make it a little more inviting. The bed was a little too soft but didn't cause too much discomfort.

• Katarzyna (9/5): Good stay for a visit in London - Stayed there for almost two weeks, the stay was very comfortable and the location very good (with the Hackney Downs overground station very close to the flat and Hackney Central a short walk away, getting around London was very convenient). The flat was a good pick for three adults. It was very clean when we arrived, we enjoyed using the TV, the wifi had good conection. Overall I really recomend! The bathroom (especially the sink) was a bit small but I would say it was managable
• Vixter (9/5): Great little bedsit with excellent public transport links - Great location, all public transport next door or close by. everything you would possibly need was there. Bed very comfortable. Very clean. Good shower. Would stay there again. Just a thought, you could make akilling by turning the front garden into parking spaces. 😉 WiFi was hit and miss. Couldn't get TV to work, but didn't spoil the weekend. The building didn't look very welcoming, there was rubbish and an old office chair in the garden. Also, didn't open blind as it looked straight into the bus stop. Again, didn't spoil the stay there.

Bed was comfy and great storage for clothes etc. Host was great, very quick with communication and was able to answer all questions and was very accommodating to request. Location was great, right next to over ground station and in walking distance from others. Will definitely book again! Only little issue was washing machine didn't drain water so clothes were very wet and had to take them to the launderette to use dryer.

The accommodation is located next to the platform and is a bit noisy. The mattresses are very soft, but it depends on personal preference.
