• Peter (8/5): Super - The position was great, just a couple of hundred metres from Tower Bridge. Hosts were super, excellent facilities. The room was quite light and a bit noisy as it was at street level.

• Manuel (1/5): Awful experience - We left and found another accommodation on the very first day. The house is completely shared with the owners, who live there, but the bedroom door doesn’t even have a lock for greater privacy and security. The bathroom also wasn’t properly clean. The toilet seat had dirt stains, and the mirror had toothpaste marks. The door doesn’t close properly; it needs to be locked so that it doesn’t open by itself. We also think it could be clearer in the listing that the bathroom is completely shared, as well as the rest of the house. There is no kind of privacy or personal space. We tried to talk about the matter in person with Mr. Viktor, but he was unavailable because he was working and would only arrive home two hours later, around 10:30 p.m. Tired from the trip and extremely disappointed and uncomfortable in that environment, we found another accommodation, left the keys, and went away. As we were unable to speak in person with Mr. Viktor, we left a message on his phone explaining the whole situation, trying to discuss a possible refund, and emphasizing our gratitude for the kind way he had welcomed us and how deeply sad we were that the situation was happening. The response we received was a sequence of passive-aggressive, arrogant, and unpleasant messages from someone we had thought was reasonable and a good person. Mr. Viktor turned out to be disrespectful towards people who had never disrespected him, and deceptive. He had no problem at all keeping our money, and even seemed to find the situation amusing. Surreal.

Son muy buena gente, hace de todo para hacer la estancia lo más cómodo posible. El apartamento es muy moderno, súper limpio y tiene una ubicación inmejorable. Lo puedo recomendar 100%.
• Stephanie (10/5): Welcoming, clean, and perfect for a short business stay - Victor and Monica were extremely friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated that the hosts accommodated my late check-in, at last min notice. The room was extremely comfortable (I could have stayed in that bed for days) and everything was very clean. Unfortunately I didn't use the kitchen much during my stay but it was spotless and looked really great to cook in. Thank you both so much for your wonderful hospitality!

• Stephen (6/5): Excellent position for exploring London - The position was excellent. Close to restaurants and tube. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. A nice welcome and we were informed we could use teabags provided and the milk. The traffic noise at night and early morning as bedroom window is by a very busy junction. Pillows were very lumpy. Please be aware there is a shared bathroom and kitchen plus no tv in the bedroom.

On entend le bruit de la rue mais c’est le prix à payer pour avoir un logement si pratique dans le centre ville.

The apartment is immaculate! Everything you would need and more. Good quality bed . Bang in the middle of it all with tower bridge a few mins walk and the same for the station. I will definatly be returning. Amazing value for money. Thank you Monica and Victor ! X There was nothing to not like . Some may find the noise of london a bit of a shock, but it is an urban area. But we had no problem as we kept windows shut and used the hi tech dyson fan to keep us cool .

• Lucasvienna (10/5): Very comfy and large apartment - Very spacious and comfortable apartment with all the things you would like to see in you own apartment such as fridge, coffee machine, kettle, etc. All the quipement is very modern and clean. The place is also very conveniently located with 10 minutes by foot to London Bridge tube and train station and another 10 minutes across the Thames to the Tower of London. Sound insulation at peak evening could be better, but the noise died down pretty quickly at night.

The location is perfect if you want to visit some of the sights in London, for e.g. Tower Bridge which is about 100meters away from the apartment and The Shard is onsite. Note: You will be residing in the apartment and sharing both the bathroom and kitchen with the owner. We had no complaints throughout our stay and found the accommodation to be comfortable and satisfactory. Restaurants, Supermarkets, Shops are all within a walking distance. London Bridge Station is a closest train station and its a 9mins walk from the apartment. I will definitely recommended this accommodation to my family and friends.

The room was clean and well-maintained in a neutral, hotel-like way. Having both a washer AND dryer was especially appreciated after traveling through Europe where dryers are uncommon. The hosts kindly cleared space in the fridge and pantry for my items and provided extra amenities like towels, soaps, and lotions. The location, while conveniently close to major attractions like Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, had drawbacks. The unit was partially below ground level (about three feet down), with windows at street level of a busy intersection, resulting in significant traffic noise. The windows could benefit from better soundproofing, as traffic, car horns, and pedestrian sounds were noticeable 24/7. The bedroom vanity table was too small for comfortable remote working. While the hosts were lovely and respectful of privacy, I hadn't realized this was a shared accommodation, which wasn't ideal for the final leg of my month-long European journey when I was seeking more personal space. For first-time Booking.com users like myself, note that 'Homestay' means you'll be sharing the accommodation with the hosts.

• Sue4351962 (10/5): Great location and exceptionally clean! - This location is a straight shot from both the train and tube stations in the business district and as a solo female traveler, I felt safe walking to and from the location. It was exceptionally clean! The hosts were not present when I checked in, but provided an excellent video so I knew exactly how to access the keys and find my room. Communication was exceptional. They are located at the intersection of two busy roads which makes it easy to find, but the traffic is noisy.

The best part of this property is definitely its location. Location: The apartment is centrally located—just a 2-minute walk to the iconic Tower Bridge! Many major tourist attractions are close by, so you can easily cover multiple spots in a day. We made it a routine to stroll to the Tower Bridge each night after dinner, which was delightful. There's also a Sainsbury’s right next door, making it convenient for breakfast, snacks, and affordable meal deals from Sainsbury’s or Tesco (sandwich/shawarma + drink + snack for as low as £6-8). About the Room: The room was hygienic, with clean beds and towels, plus essentials like hand towels and toiletries. There was ample storage, and the decor was both stylish and thoughtfully arranged. The room has a heater, and Monica even provided an extra portable heater for added comfort. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed—a coffee machine, refrigerator, oven, and space to cook if needed. The only minor addition that could enhance privacy is an internal lock for the bedroom. Hospitality: Monica and Victor were wonderful hosts, warm and welcoming. Their friendly conversations over coffee left us with cherished memories. On our last day, Monica gifted my wife a beautifully hand-painted fan—a lovely keepsake! Thank you, Monica and Victor, for a fantastic stay. 11/10 for the experience, the conversations, and your exceptional hospitality! Everything was Perfect ! The only minor addition that could enhance privacy is an internal lock for the bedroom.

• Ian (10/5): Luxury apartment - The apartment wasn’t that far from Tower Bridge. Victor and Monica were absolutely great hosts. Such a luxury place to stay in. My room was spacious and a very comfy bed which I slept very well in. Great facilities and I certainly would stay here again.
• Chee (9/5): Superb - Superb host. Provided clear instructions to the property which was invaluable as we arrived quite late in the evening. Went the extra mile to recommend various places and restaurants around the vicinity. The room and facilities were very well kept. Finally, the location is very good for us with proximity to the train station and the Underground. Only drawback is the street traffic noise during the night although we got used to it after the first night.

Great location for tourism. The only downside was the noise of the traffic and the emergency vehicles - especially at night.
• Josh (9/5): Superb - Monica and Victor were great hosts and always ready to help. Room was spacious with comfortable bed and was very clean, bathroom as well. Location was great, about 8 mins walk to the London Bridge station and 2 mins to Tower Bridge. There are many delightful pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. Items such as hair dryer, shower toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nice thick towels etc), and a dyson fan were provided. We asked to borrow a vacuum and hosts were more than happy to lend it to us. Free coffee and tea were also offered to us during our stay! Even though check out was at 10AM, hosts were accommodating by allowing us to store our luggage there until we actually needed to leave for the airport at 12PM, which was a plus point. As it is a homestay you should be comfortable with sharing a bathroom and kitchen, it can be a little awkward for introverts 😅 but again the hosts are very accomodating. There may be times you need to wait for the bathroom if it’s occupied by the hosts. It can get a little noisy in the room (e.g police sirens and people walking by) due to the location but all is good when windows are closed! Suggest to also have tissues and a bin in the room please! Otherwise we had a very pleasant 8 days and will definitely come back when visiting London again :)

• Melinda (6/5): Private bedroom in a home. 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house that you share with the owner. - Hosts / cohabitants were very nice. Many lovely, updated features. The kitchen and bathroom were very nice. Sharing the kitchen isn't so bad, especially a lovely kitchen. Sharing a bathroom was more than we bargained for. Good location near the Tower Bridge. The pub nearby was nice and wasn't expensive. There were 2 grocery stores nearby. Read the fine print. This is a bedroom with a shared bathroom and kitchen. While you can use the living room, kitchen and bathroom there are the hosts there also. There was barely any room in the refrigerator or pantry for our food and no room in the freezer at all. There is a club across the street that is VERY noisy, especially on the weekends. The noise was an issue for us. It would be nice to have a comfortable chair to sit on when the living room is occupied leaving nowhere but the bed to sit on. I don't think we ever were able to use the living room. One afternoon we came in to find the host asleep on the couch. You feel like you have to tip toe around.

• Christian (10/5): Really great accommodation in a perfect location with lovely hosts - The location is really great, lots of sights and restaurants are in the immediate neighborhood. Our room and the bathroom were absolutely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts, who also live in the accommodation, are very nice and helpful and gave us lots of tips for a good stay. The communication in advance was also very good. Conclusion: A great accommodation with nice hosts that we can absolutely recommend! At night it can get a little noisy due to the very central location, e.g. police sirens. But this is not the hosts' fault.

Very close to the Tower. Bridge and the corner pub is nice. No privacy. You are renting a room with use of the rest of the house. This isnt the whole house. Just a room in the basement. The windows are street level. I didn’t realize we would have to share the bathroom :(. I missed that in the write up. Not fun at 3 am when you need to go and it’s occupied. No place was made for the guests to put toiletry bags in the bath. There is a lot of noise from the street and from the bar across the street. Very bad on the weekend :(
