The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed.One of the best parts was the complimentary breakfast along with free coffee, drinks, and snacks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was also very convenient Overall, it was a flawless experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended — truly a 10/10 stay

- Kaatje. Pep (8/5): Top locatie. - De ligging wa geweldig!! Naast Shamian Island, de metro letterlijk voor de deur, een grote Mall aan de overkant van de straat. Op loopafstand van Yongqingfang (aanrader).Ja achter het hotel vind je ook typische oudere buurten maar die vinden wij juist charmant. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Het is schoon en ze proberen alle verzoeken direct op te lossen. Het ontbijt is okey maar niet top maar in de Mall zitten meerdere grote bakkers en koffiezaken. Echt een aanrader! De kamer heeft leuke technische snufjes en een leuk toilet ;-) Niets

It's very clean, the rooms are clean, it's inexpensive, the breakfast is very good value, and the reception staff are incredibly kind. I highly recommend this hotel and thank the entire team for their kindness.

Concernant le personnel à notre arrivé , la jeune réceptionniste qui nous a reçue était adorable. Par contre durant notre séjour ses deux autres collègues sont des personnes odieuses et désagréable. Je n’y remettrai plus les pieds. Petit déjeuner pas top non plus . Très restreint et la même chose tout les jours . Dommage car j’ai bien aimé les chambres et le prix est très correct

- Orawan (8/5): - The location is convenience and very close to Shamian. The room equipment is in very good condition and comfortable. Breakfast is good and sufficience. The staffs are great. They are very helpful even they don't understand English. The only one but very important drawback is the ventilation system. The room has no window and full of smoke smell when other room has smokers. If you are allergic to smoke smell, you really depends on your luck if there are smoker guests in the room nearby.
- kay (1/5): Booking Cancelled Last Minute – Left Stranded @ 1AM with 6 Kids - Nothing Made booking. Pay at property. Arrived in Hong Kong and told them we were on the way and not to cancel the booking. They said they didn’t and confirmed everything was fine. Driver called for the address and we were on the way at 11pm. 30 minutes before arrival they cancelled the booking. So here I am with 6 kids after a 15 hour flight and nowhere to stay. We had to scramble to find a place that late, which completely threw off the whole trip and forced us to stay on the other side of Guangzhou. Typical, because from what I’m seeing places in Guangzhou and Shenzhen want our foreign money but still treat us like crap. Then they want to debate about it all night instead of resolving the issue. They attempted to offer a room in another building without breakfast, and the room only had 1 bed when we are a party of 7, which is completely unsuitable. This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. When traveling with children, reliability matters. Cancelling a confirmed booking last minute, especially after being told it would not be cancelled, is unacceptable.

Также есть большой ТЦ и несколько магазинов. Отель новый, в номерах тихо, чисто, никаких проблем с запахом. На этаже есть стиральные и сушильные машины. Завтрак не самый разнообразный для любителей европейской кухни, но найти привычные блюда можно. Персонал очень приветливый. В номере был автоматически срабатывающий при каждом входе робот, который пугал громкой речью на китайском, особенно вечером.

- Zoran (3/5): Very bad - The hotel staff were wonderful, they were always ready to help us if we needed it the pictures that were posted are not appropriate, our room had a window that looks into the corridor where other guests pass by, we had to draw a curtain over that "window" all day so the room was dark like a cave, so the light was on all the time. They didn't write this anywhere in the room description, but they had to. WiFi is completely non-functional, if you think that you will have internet in the hotel - you are wrong. The breakfast is very bad, we were in the hotel for 8 days, the breakfast was the same every day.

В номере хорошая кровать с качественным постельным бельем,полотенцами.Хорошая душевая ,,умный ,, унитаз. Телевизора нет но есть проектор.(дети очень быстро разобрались смотрели мультики на китайском Программы на русском не нашли). Цена качество -отлично. Подъехав к отелю не сразу поймешь, что ты на месте.Окружающее пространство удручает.Территория у отеля очень неопрятна. Вход в отель не красивый и не ухоженный. Ресепшен странно совмещен с баром. Девочки на ресепшене симпатичные внимательные.Но впечатление портит беспорядок на их рабочем месте .Бар это хорошо ,но рабочая зона должна быть отделена .Руководству, сотрудникам нужно подумать об организации пространства где встречают гостей,а то мы прям сразу разочаровались! Но номера ,чистота сгладили впечатление.Сотрудники были очень внимательны. (Девочки вы все такие молодые ,ну придумайте, что нибудь,подскажите руководству.)и ваш отель станет еще лучше) С пожеланием процветаниЯ !

Удобные кровати и хорошее оснащение номера, есть даже чайник, очень вкусный чай положили в качестве комплимента. Особая благодарность девушкам на ресепшн, готовы помочь с любым вопросом, общаются через переводчик на смартфоне.

- Rudi (9/5): A nice strategic hotel with superb facilities - The room is big enough for a family of four. There's a washing machine and dryer for our floor. The room even has AI that can execute simple tasks in chinese, and there's a robot food delivery to your room. The metro station is just across the street and Shamian Island is just a short walk. - romain (9/5): Friendly staff and lovely room - We enjoyed our stay at LanWan Hotel. Rooms is and feel clean. Although the room is small it didn't feel like it because it is very well designed. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located near the entrance of the train and near a shopping centre.
- Charlotte (7/5): Brilliant location, excellent staff, would 100% rebook - The location is excellent: some 40 minutes from Baiyun International Airport and 20-odd from every attraction in town (shopping, landmarks etc). The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the language barrier was never an issue. The laundry services are good, with both a washer and dryer available to guests. We would happily stay here again. We ordered a high floor and were put on floor four. The view wasn’t as expected, with piping machines etc being the main view from our room.

- Lauren (5/5): Clean, comfortable hotel, but too much noise. - Clean rooms, great shower, very friendly helpful staff. Too much noise from other guests, walls are so thin I could hear their conversations. I was woken up everyday at 6am by other guests slamming the doors constantly going in and out. They also have rooms with glass walls that look out onto the corridors, if you're unfortunate enough to get one of those the noise level would be even worse.

- Hartman (9/5): Brand new rooms, thoughtfully designed. - The room is excellent, quiet aircon, good noise insulation, very comfortable mattress, very well equipped with the latest electronics to control lighting, fully automated toilet. The location is right next to Shamian island, literally 100m from a bridge onto the island and directly next to an underpass link to the Huangsha Metro station. The staff are very friendly and helpful, if they can't answer in English they will use a translation app to explain. Like others have said, the self service laundry facilities are very welcome. The directions to the hotel were not very clear. Fortunately I had google maps available but even with that it took a bit of time to understand exactly where the place was. Go towards exit F from Huangsha metro station and then locate the underpass. As you come out of the underpass, it is just on your right. The orientation of the seats for breakfast should be improved, it does not take much for the seats to be all taken.

- claudia (9/5): Perfect! - The accommodations is located in a perfect strategic area with easy access to transport and highlights just few minutes walking. The hotel is new, clean. I like that everything in the room is automatic! The check in is also easy. The hotel also provide good breakfast, afternoon tea and snacks for after dinner. Staff is great! Very helpful. The property is great! I do t have any complain but if I have to mention something I would say our room did not have windows. I missed to see the sunlight in the morning to wake up.

- Timur (10/5): - Хороший отель. Очень хорошее обслуживание. Приветливый, отзывчивый персонал. Любые вопросы готовы решить тут же. Хорошие завтраки. В номере чисто и светло. Очень удобная кровать и подушки. Рядом большой торговый центр. Станция метро 50 метров, что очень удобно.

- Danny (7/5): Ideal location for getting around Guangzhou, tiny rooms but good value. - Location was great. Handy for the metro and the Shamian area is fantastic for exploring. Staff were excellent and very helpful messaging on we chat and even called us a couple of times. The laundry facilities were useful. Shower was excellent. Can't beat the toilets that wash and dry for you. Wifi was awful and didn't work. Our first room was next to some kind of industrial pump and very noisy. The staff did move us after first night when we let them know. Breakfast was cold.

- Cindy (5/5): Definitely not coming back to stay . - Location- in front of hotel is MRT station. Entrance to MRT no lift and no escalator so not friendly to us as we are senior citizens. Entrance to hotel is very very smelly. Was told it was a fisherman wharf.
